Zosia: Quick Transmigration System -
Chapter 131 - 129 - ARC 4 {INTERFACE}
Upon getting back home, Zosia immediately threw herself onto the soft couch.
"Let's see what the system has to say," she muttered, summoning the interface with a thought.

[Remark: A little brother worried about his older brother.]
Looking at the various data and values assigned to each of them, Zosia couldn't help but be lost in thought.
"It seems like each brother has their own company that they handle." Zosia said audibly.
Gazing at the apple in front of her, she decided to use it to quench her hunger for the moment, since she had only taken wine and hadn't put anything into her stomach, believing that she could have a meal at the restaurant.
After washing the apple, she gently munched on it while scrolling to Layla's information.
≪━─━─━─━─◈─━─━─━─━≫
[Name: Layla Swiss.]
[Age: 22]
[Gender: Female.]
[Status; Healthy, Memory Loss.]
[Bloodline: Nil.]
[Occupation: Nil.]
[Affiliation; Swiss Family(Locked).]
[Personality: Cheerful, Optimistic.]
[Threat Level: Nil.]
[Skills: Draw down to see]
[Remark: A noble lady who lost her memories in the hands of her kidnappers, rescued by Killan.]
Zosia's gaze landed on the memory loss, her brows furrowing into a frown.
'Why does this feel like a novel?' Zosia thought inwardly.
Her gaze moved to the remark made my the system and she couldn't help but feel that everything just seems novel like.
First, Killan is reborn, and now he rescues a noble lady. Making sure to emphasize on the word noble. Even Killan wasn't remarked as noble by the system.
This could only mean that her family's net worth was much higher than the Queens and Randall's combined.
Probably even higher.
It would make sense that she was kidnapped. Zosia conjured up a scenario in her mind, where Layla was kidnapped, to be held off till after a successor is chosen, but she ends up escaping but inadvertently loses her memory.
Then, she gets saved by Killan. After getting saved by Killan, she falls for him and both of them end up healing each other wounds.
Especially with Killan feeling betrayed by his Ex-lover which happens to be her, despite still not aware of why the system added the tag betrayed in Killan's information.
But still, despite the scenario she had conjured up, it still begs the question. What had Auriel done? How had Layla been saved by Killan? How to appease Killan?
Throwing the remnants left from the apple, Zosia took another apple and bit into it.
"I should go prepare something." Zosia muttered and stood up, pushing the unanswered question to the back of her mind.
After whipping up a meal, Zosia decided to rest, but feeling the surge of excess energy in her body with nowhere to let it out, she could only change and enter the gym.
She had completely forgotten that the body couldn't refine the excess energy in the food materials she had used, and now she could only exercise to let it all out.
Entering the gym, she was suddenly reminded of the call Nicholas had made.
A thought suddenly sprang into her mind. She could ask Nicholas to hire her as one of his underground boxers. Being a boxer would further help her condition her body.
Since she can't get a job now, she could just do it and work on things in the background while preparing to leave the country.
She could take it as having the body get experience.
Thinking up to this point, she threw a punch.
Following that was rapid punches in different stances and angles.
Putting on a blindfold, she tuned off her senses, only using her ears. She continued punching, her strikes hitting the boxing bag accurately and in the marked areas.
Punching for a while and feeling that she could no longer feel it as a training, she walked to the gun she had bought, still on her blind fold.
Removing the gloves with her teeth, she started dismantling the guns. Timing herself, she kept dismantling the guns till she felt she had reached her goal and her knuckles creaked.
Removing the blindfold, Zosia decided to try something new.
Carrying the punching bag, she hung it in front of the running mill.
She decided to try something new.
Boxing and running while keeping her breathing steady and then slowly sync it with her actions.
Her eyes glowed just at the thought of that.
"How couldn't I have thought about that?" She said out loud.
{Well, even I the author is just thinking about that.}
While Zosia was busy exercising, Nicholas was dealing with the mess his men had created.
"So you are saying that you made a deal with Xriv and you didn't tell me?!" Nicholas' cold voice rang out, making the room surge with a terrifying chill as the people in the room quivered at their spot.
"Boss, if we could just have someone defeat Xriv men, we can still...." A man with glasses spoke.
"Just stop." Nicholas interrupted him with a raised hand.
Xriv was his archenemy. They were formerly friends, but some things just had to happen.
It would have been better if they had both gone their ways, but, their business just had to cross paths and they both ran an underground boxing ring at different cities and currently, he was just expanding into another city that Xriv just happens to have his eyes on.
"It seems like Xriv had grasped the personality of my men in his hands." He thought inwardly as he looked at the people that stood before him.
Oswald as tempremental as always and impulse, you just have to provoke him and he would fall into your trap.
Unfortunately, he just had to value such a man because of his skill and now he had landed him into the trap Xriv had dug for him.
"Xriv already killed our Top boxer, who else can handle Mica?" Nicholas said, his voice ringing out in the oddly silent room.
No one spoke. Their breathing was the only response to Nicholas' question that hung unanswered in the air.
"Never mind, why am I even asking you lot." He said.
Closing his eyes as he leaned on the chair, he couldn't help but think about what to do next. He didn't think he could find anyone who could fight with Mica and avoid him from losing the developing rights in the new city.
Unfortunately, even if he were to find one, it would be the one that money could buy.
Such a person, Xriv would surely find a way to take the person from him and make all his investments to go up in smokes.
Nicholas could very well imagine Xriv smirking at him.
His fist clenched just at the thought of it.
"All of you leave." Nicholas said coldly.
Seeing them leave, with a frosty look in his eyes, the thought of losing to Xriv just didn't sit well with him, and if possible, he didn't want to forfeit to him.
"How can I surrender without fighting? That isn't the spirit of the Randal Family." Nicholas whispered, his lips forming a thin line.
Just then, his phone rang.
Pulling out the phone from his inner coat, he looked at the number on the screen.
"Hey, Auriel." Nicholas said, his thoughts drifting back to the lady his brother had brought with him today.
He couldn't help but think about Auriel's reaction then. Auriel had been so calm and her smile genuine, even when his brother had introduced the girl as his girlfriend.
"Could she be calling me to have me keep an eye on Layla?" Nicholas thought inwardly.
"I heard you have a boxing ring. I wanna join." Zosia, as straightforward as always, went straight to her point.
One would say, since she had lived 500 years in the ancient world, she should have learnt to be less direct and more used to using honorifics and going in roundabout ways.
That may be the same for many, but was the opposite for her. After staying in such an environment, the more she appreciated being straightforward.
Nicholas was stunned by Auriel's straightforwardness.
"Hehe... You must be joking, right?" Nicholas said, not expecting her to be serious.
"I am not." Zosia said firmly, her voice revealing how serious she was, "Besides, a little bird gave me a tidbit."
Nicholas raised his eyebrow at the word tidbit.
"And what could that be?" Nicholas asked, curiosity tinging his tone.
"Just let me join if you want to win Xriv."
"Did my brother tell you this?" Nicholas said as he leaned on his chair, feeling that his guess must be right.
"Wrong. I and your brother broke up 6 months ago and apart from today, we haven't spoken to each other."
Hearing Auriel's response, he was stunned.
"Had both of them willingly broken up with each other?" He thought inwardly, but the thought alone sounded unconvincing.
He knew how both of them loved each other, especially his brother.
"What are you planning?" Nicholas finally said after a minute of silence.
Zosia snorted, "C'mon, what could I possibly be planning? Just think about it. I still have some things to do."
"What's your angle?" Nicholas finally asked.
"No angle. Just think about it."
Before he could reply, she hung up, leaving him staring at his phone, her audacity lingering in his mind.
