Lord Gu personally took the tools, dipped the ceramic spoon into the medicine cauldron, and when he pulled it out again, the spoon was filled with a scoop of clear liquid.

There was a "crackling" sound, likely the circuits inside being corroded, and sparks of electricity flickered around the lock. Then came a "click," and the safe cracked open a fraction automatically.

It really worked. Lin Tian couldn’t help but marvel, finding the Gu Cultivator repugnant but still acknowledging his skills. And since the safe had been provided by Ning Luoxi, she knew best about its protective capabilities; now that it had been breached, she had no more to say.
