Chapter 452 - 451: The Same Kind
Chapter 452: Chapter 451: The Same Kind
"I refuse to believe I can’t kill you." Amid the swirling dust, Lin Tian bellowed and charged through the smoke, throwing a fierce punch at Nan Jujun not far away.
He could see Nan Jujun, but Nan Jujun, lacking the ability to see through the smoke, could only passively defend.
With another loud "boom," Nan Jujun was sent flying, crashing through a wall and tumbling into another room, while the other Japanese showed no intention of coming to his aid.
"I’m going to make you regret acting tough!" Lin Tian, like a bullet train at high speed, surged through the hole in the wall, raising his leg to bring down a reverse strike on Nan Jujun, who was on the ground.
A massive "bang" echoed as the dilapidated floorboards were shattered, and the rusted rebar was ripped apart, sending Nan Jujun crashing down to the floor below.
Lin Tian jumped down through the hole, ready to locate and strike Nan Jujun when a sudden whoosh from behind made him turn and block, but he was still punched by the suddenly attacking Nan Jujun.
The punch sent him flying out of a window and crashing to the ground where, with a loud "boom," he created a deep crater.
Four Japanese climbed down the building like monkeys scaling a cliff, quickly jumping from the upper floor to the ground.
"Kid, don’t think I’m made of tofu that you can disintegrate me with a few punches," Nan Jujun said harshly as he looked down at Lin Tian in the crater.
"Pah..." Lin Tian spat out the dirt in his mouth, straightened his waist, and leapt out of the crater. At this point, his clothes looked like a beggar’s garb, and his hair was coated with dust, rendering him unrecognizable even to acquaintances.
"See, I can’t beat the four of you alone, and I’m not afraid to die, but you owe me some clarity on who you are and what you’re doing here," Lin Tian said, his eyes flickering as he deliberately sounded disheartened.
"Boy, at least you know yourself, but unfortunately, you will have to ask our master if you want to know more. Our master only told us that our target is the Xiao Family. Of course, there’s another way for you to find out everything—die and go to Hell and ask those wronged souls who died at our master’s hands; maybe they know, hahaha..." Nan Jujun said, laughing uproariously.
"Hahaha..." The other three Japanese joined in the laughter, looking at Lin Tian as though he were a dead man.
"Damn it, every random person claims they want to go after the Xiao Family! But since you know so little, you’re not worth keeping alive," Lin Tian said coldly, his expression turning icy.
The laughter stopped abruptly as one of them said, "Nan Jujun, he actually thinks we won’t survive, as if he forgets that we are four and he is just one—not even enough for a late-night snack, hahaha..."
"Think I’m alone? Heh, I just disdain to bully you guys. Since that’s the case, let me show you something so you don’t think you can trample freely on Huaxia’s land." Lin Tian scoffed and then snapped his fingers in the air.
With a crisp "snap," the sound was unusually clear in the night sky, and before it had completely faded, a black shadow streaked out from an upper window of the dilapidated building, its two red eyes the most conspicuous, emitting a fearsome red glow.
The shadow flew silently past the man who was just speaking, who did not even react before he screamed and fell to the ground. He clutched his shoulder, from which blood spurted out.
The shadow quickly swept toward Lin Tian, then made a sharp stop, perching on his shoulder, revealing itself to be a giant black bat.
In the mouth of the black bat was a chunk of bloody flesh, freshly torn from the shoulder of the Japanese man.
"Rossi, just spit it out already. The flesh of Japanese is naturally sour and stinky, you’ll get diarrhea," Lin Tian joked, glancing at the bat on his shoulder.
Currently standing on his shoulder was the vampire, Rossi, who had originally followed the ghost quietly, lurking on the hill where everyone gathered. After Lin Tian arrived, Rossi secretly followed him.
As Rossi’s master, Lin Tian of course knew that Rossi was following him in the shadows. He hadn’t called him out merely because there wasn’t any emergency. Seeing the Japanese making a scene, he had Rossi come out to tease them a bit.
Although Sir Baoju and his companions had strange physiques and high resistance to damage, Rossi’s vampire fangs were his most formidable weapon, easily tearing apart one man’s shoulder.
Rossi hurriedly shook his head, throwing out the flesh in his mouth and cooperatively shook his head repeatedly, flinging off the blood on his lips. Lin Tian watched amusedly; Rossi, having spent a lot of time with him, had slowly become more humorous, seemingly only displaying the lonely and aloof side of a vampire when alone.
Rossi definitely had a story, and when the time was right, Lin Tian planned to ask him in detail. Since he was the master, he should take more care of his subordinates.
"Rossi, tonight’s events are somewhat strange. Go check on the ghost. If there’s danger, secretly lend a hand but do not reveal your identity. Understand?" Lin Tian instructed again.
Rossi wobbled his body to show understanding, then with a flap of his bat wings, he silently flew away, quickly disappearing into the night.
"So, Sir Baoju, what now? Still think you have the numbers on your side?" Lin Tian leisurely watched the four men, disdainfully said.
Nan Jujun cautiously looked around, fearing another monster might suddenly appear. Having seen that giant bat breach his companion’s defense, he no longer underestimated the young man before him.
His companion then opened another bottle of something, dropped a few drops into the wounded man’s mouth, and the blood on his shoulder stopped. Just like Nan Jujun, his eyes rapidly filled with blood vessels, and soon they were intimidatingly red.
"Roar..."
A low roar, like that of a wounded beast, came from his mouth. Under Lin Tian’s shocked gaze, the man actually bent down to lick the blood off his body, looking thoroughly pleased.
"Damn, are you zombies or what?" Lin Tian’s mind was filled with countless questions. These people didn’t resemble Ancient Martial Artists nor Ancient Body Technique Practitioners, but they all shared one thing: a brutal aura emanated from them.
"Zombies? Such a noble species, and you, a despicable human, dare to mention it so casually? Haha, you little brat actually let your pet bite me, I, Gui Shan Guang, will tear you into pieces!" The man who claimed to be Gui Shan Guang said, his blood-red eyes glaring at Lin Tian, his voice filled with cruelty.
The four men simultaneously looked at Lin Tian, closing in on him; their patience had worn thin after being provoked over and over.
"Who will tear whom into pieces is yet to be seen," Lin Tian sneered coldly, his hands simultaneously forming claws, his fingernails growing several inches.
The newly grown nails were incredibly sharp, reflecting a metallic cold light under the moonlight, seeming to easily slice through steel with a gentle swipe.
This transformation startled the four Japanese. During their moment of hesitation, Lin Tian moved swiftly. In a blink, he appeared in front of the first two men, his crossed hands slicing down sharply, his sharp nails cutting diagonally from their shoulders down to their ribs.
