Zombie Bodyguard -
Chapter 31: Listing Remarks
Chapter 31: Listing Remarks
"Zombie Bodyguard" is going on the shelves today, and I can’t help but feel emotional.
From uploading the first Chapter of the new book until now, with over a hundred Chapters, the moment to go on the shelves has arrived without notice. Time seems to have flown by; I’m still not over one scene, and yet another is about to begin.
Ever since Zombie was uploaded, countless plots have been swirling in my mind, and I’ve tried my utmost to present them faithfully between the lines to share with you all. But looking back now, there are still some places where it falls short of expectations. However, I have at least not deviated from my initial conception, and the ship that is Zombie has been sailing forward on its original course.
It really is going on the shelves, so I’ll express my sentiment once more. Since Zombie started updating, it has been the support from readers that has allowed me to continue writing with enthusiasm. I must definitely, certainly express my gratitude to you all—whether it’s a reward, a recommendation ticket, leaving evidence of your visit in the book review area, or even a single click, all have given me tremendous motivation.
Your support is the driving force that keeps me moving forward, the wellspring of my enthusiastic writing.
However, I regret to let down some readers. Zombie going on the shelves means charging for it, falling short of some friends’ expectations. But please understand, an author needs to make a living too, I’m not a second-generation rich kid. Very honestly, one reason I write is for the manuscript fees, which are a security for an author’s livelihood. Dear friends, please understand.
Thankfulness toward readers cannot just be spoken; should I offer myself up in devotion? Of course not, I still need my useful body to keep typing. Yes, to keep typing—is my way of showing gratitude to you all. I don’t have grand ambitions and won’t write anything too profound. If reading my novel lets you relax a bit amidst the stress of studying and working, then I’ve achieved my goal.
As per tradition, it seems like I should shout out a line, "Dear readers, don’t pass by without checking out the freshly shelved ’Zombie’—tasty and visible to the eye, asking for all kinds of subscriptions, votes, and rewards. Even if not buying, just coming in to take a look is also good.
Lastly, I’ll use a saying from Master Xu Yun to suppress all distractions and Heart Demons, allowing me to focus on writing with a calm mind: "Seated, I’ve witnessed emperors and dynasties without sensing the vicissitudes too much; enduring extreme hardships, now I understand the transient nature of the world."
