Chapter 267: Chapter 266: Ridiculous Reason

The wait staff gazed in astonishment at Lin Tian and his group; almost the entire bar’s management had mobilized. It was the first time they had witnessed such a spectacular scene.

Disputes had occurred before, but usually, Manager Zhao and Ma Xiangrong were the ones taking the lead. However, this time they saw three strangers at the front. Although they were amazed by the handsome man and the beautiful woman, they found it strange that the supervisors all consciously followed behind the three.

Where had Manager Zhao and Ma Xiangrong, who usually led the way, gone? The wait staff’s minds filled with a cascade of questions as they searched through the crowd for the two.

Finally, they spotted Manager Zhao and Ma Xiangrong at the back of the group, to their shock, Captain Ma’s face was swollen and bruised.

It was strange enough that the typically arrogant duo was walking behind everyone, but it was even stranger that Ma Xiangrong was injured. The wounds on his face clearly weren’t self-inflicted; it was obvious he had been slapped repeatedly, as his cheeks still bore the red, swollen imprints of a hand.

The news that Ma Xiangrong had been slapped stunned the wait staff, who then turned their attention to the three at the front of the group.

Could all this have been caused by these three young people? The wait staff again sank into doubt. However, a gleeful look appeared subtly on the faces of the female wait staff—regardless of who had done it, at least the arrogant Captain Ma had been punished.

Lin Tian did not reveal his identity on the spot; instead, he stood at the entrance and asked the servers, "Can anyone tell me what exactly caused this?"

The wait staff exchanged looks; Manager Zhao usually asked such questions. Faced with this young man’s inquiry, they were momentarily unsure how to respond.

After a few seconds of silence, Manager Zhao smiled smugly behind the group, relishing the thought, "Ha! You can’t run this bar without me!" He was about to step forward and save the day, but a bold waitress stepped forward to answer the question.

"Here’s what happened—inside, there were two groups, one with sports cars and one with motorcycle racers, both initially hanging out in the main hall. But then both groups wanted to book VIP Room 1 at the same time, with a gap of just two minutes. The reception first assigned the room to the sports car group, but suddenly the motorcycle racers also demanded the same room, and that’s when the argument began."

The beautiful waitress bravely assessed Lin Tian as she spoke clearly about the cause of the incident. Lin Tian couldn’t help but assess her in return; the waitress spoke without any signs of stage fright, maintaining her composure before all the bar’s leaders—a commendable feat.

Moreover, even after such a sudden event, she did not panic but reported accurately to the management, showing much stronger mental fortitude than others. Many male wait staff were present, but none of them had dared to step forward like her.

"What is your name?" Lin Tian asked, his curiosity piqued more by the waitress’s name than dealing with the situation inside.

"My name is Mo Yiqing, ’Mo’ as in close, ’Yiqing’ as in clear sky," the waitress replied openly.

Normally, when asked their names by a strange man, most girls would not respond, but Mo Yiqing was confidently forthright.

"Very well," smiled Lin Tian, then he turned to Lu Jia, "Manager Lu, consider Mo Yiqing as a priority candidate for promotion to supervisor. Make sure to follow up on this later."

"Absolutely, no problem," Lu Jia nodded, then turned to Mo Yiqing, "Mr. Lin is the bar’s new owner. Aren’t you going to thank the boss?"

"The new owner?" Not only was she surprised, but the other wait staff were as well, startled into disbelief. Yet, as these words came from the HR manager, they couldn’t help but believe.

"Such a young boss," Mo Yiqing murmured under her breath.

She thought Lin Tian wouldn’t hear, but he caught every word and chuckled, "Who says young people can’t be bosses? You are also very young; maybe it won’t be long before you become a manager. Let’s go inside and take a look; the guests have calmed down quite a bit."

Embarrassed that the boss had heard her mumble, Mo Yiqing stuck out her tongue timidly. But she thought this new boss seemed quite different.

Lin Tian stepped forward to the VIP room door, which was closed. He pushed it but couldn’t open it.

"It seems they’ve blocked the door from the inside; even with key access, it won’t budge," Mo Yiqing whispered.

So it was blocked. Lin Tian realized, initially thinking the wait staff had been too scared to enter. His gaze flickered, and with his X-ray vision, he saw through the thick door, clearly discerning the situation inside.

Behind the door, a sofa was blocking the way, no wonder they couldn’t open the VIP room door. At that moment, the people inside were split into two factions, standing defensively against each other. Some even held broken beer bottles, threatening each other with a situation ready to escalate into a brawl, potentially lethal.

A sofa could stop ordinary people but certainly not Lin Tian. He pressed his hand against the door and slowly pushed inward, and the door creaked open with a "squeak." To the astonishment of everyone watching, the blocked door opened just like that.

As the door swung open, the two opposing groups were shocked, thinking bar personnel had forcibly pushed their way inside. However, they saw only a young man standing at the entrance, with his people more than a meter behind him, indicating the blocked door was opened solely by this young man.

What kind of person is this? Such strength! They all harbored the same thought.

"Hey, who are you? Didn’t you see we’re busy here? Everyone out!" A loud voice suddenly called out from Lin Tian’s right side.

"The speaker is from the motorcycle racing group," whispered Mo Yiqing.

That means the people on his left must be from the sports car group, Lin Tian noted, assessing both factions. Oddly, the sports car group had been silent since his arrival, also observing him.

"My friends, there are other rooms in the bar of the same standard as VIP Room 1. Why insist on this particular one?" Lin Tian asked calmly.

As the saying goes, begin with courtesy before moving to force. If warnings proved ineffective, Lin Tian was prepared to throw everyone out. In his view, no one had the right to create such chaos in his own bar.

"VIP Room 1 is the top room. You want us to settle for Room 2? The best belongs to us." The voice from the motorcycle racing group responded.

It was just for this reason, Lin Tian was truly at a loss. These young racers, how did their minds work, insisting on such petty ranking? The race track is for competing, not here over a room.

Before Lin Tian could respond, Manager Zhao suddenly parted the crowd and strode up, placing himself between the two groups.
