Chapter 250: Chapter 249: Agree Even If You Don’t Agree

It’s said that Qi Dapeng made his money fighting bare-knuckle in the coastal areas of Southeast Asia when he was young, then switched to business. Unexpectedly, he prospered to become a billionaire. However, after many years in business, he still couldn’t shake off the habits from his fighting days, and was quite a rogue in character.

Last time Lin Tian beat up Mr. Qi, Liu Wenxing had mentioned it to him, but at that time Lin Tian didn’t care. Looking at it now, it really was blatant—like father, like son, which explained why Mr. Qi was so brazen too.

"Dad, stay calm. Don’t be impulsive." Funnily enough, this time Mr. Qi had no choice but to ask his own father to stay cool, knowing his dad was simply no match for Lin Tian.

"Son, why are you so weak? Stop talking so meekly." Qi Dapeng slapped his son on the shoulder, then turned to face Lin Tian. Since he didn’t recognize anyone else here apart from Lin Tian and Rossi, and Lin Tian was sitting in the main seat, he shouted, "Was it you who bullied my son and made me come to this bar?"

Qi Dapeng swaggered toward Lin Tian. However, as soon as he got close, he suddenly struck with his hands shaped like claws, aiming directly for Lin Tian’s shoulders, his eyes bursting with sharpness—gone was his casual demeanor. His act was entirely intended to deceive and then strike unexpectedly.

How could someone who came from bare-knuckle fighting be a fool? In the bleak world of underground fighting, every day was a life-or-death ordeal. If Qi Dapeng had been an idiot, he would have long been dead. These deceptive tactics had saved him countless times.

Yet Lin Tian remained sitting on his chair, not fighting back, letting him grab his shoulders. Qi Dapeng’s face lit up with joy, for with the skills honed through bare-knuckle fighting, a grip on the shoulders meant a crippling injury. However, he planned to teach a lesson first by dislocating Lin Tian’s shoulders.

But when Qi Dapeng exerted force, he felt as if he was squeezing iron blocks; he couldn’t budge them at all.

"Try a bit harder, I can still take it." Every time Lin Tian said this, he exuded a vibe reminiscent of the "Kung Fu" Evil God, lounging with legs crossed, disregarding everything.

Realizing something was off, Qi Dapeng tried to pull back, but Lin Tian suddenly grabbed his wrists, moving so fast he couldn’t see. With a slight exertion of strength, Qi Dapeng screamed out in pain, his face turning red. When Lin Tian let go, he staggered backwards repeatedly.

"Dad, how are you?" Mr. Qi hurried over to support him, noticing his father’s wrist had reddened.

Lin Tian nonchalantly withdrew his hands, saying, "Don’t worry, it was just a lesson."

After this incident, Qi Dapeng no longer dared to act arrogantly and obediently sat down. Not long after, Bai Yuanhao and Sun Hai also arrived at the bar. Both were deep schemers and well aware of Lin Tian’s prowess. Upon arrival, they took their seats directly.

This shocked Qi Dapeng even more. Who was this young man that even the head of the Bai Family was so wary of him? He deeply regretted acting without understanding the situation, suffering unnecessarily.

"Lin Tian, what exactly did you call us here for? Now that everyone is here, you might as well speak," Bai Yuanhao said, glancing at his son, but Yufeng kept his head down, not daring to utter a word, so Bai Yuanhao turned to ask Lin Tian.

"Don’t rush, there is still one more to come," Lin Tian said calmly.

No sooner had his words fallen than two breathtakingly beautiful women entered through the door, none other than Xiao Manxue and Mrs. Xiao, unseen for two days.

Mother and daughter, one in the prime of her youth, beautiful and vibrant, the other mature and elegant, still charming, walked gracefully under the bar’s lights, truly about to make thousands of men swoon.

"Cough, cough... I didn’t expect Mrs. Xiao to be here as well," Lin Tian said, feeling embarrassed to act arrogantly in front of Mrs. Xiao. He stood up, intending to offer her the main seat.

However, the mother and daughter paid no heed to his courtesies and elegantly took seats to the side.

"Lin Tian, can we start talking now?" Sun Hai urged. For these powerful figures, time was extremely precious. They were already displeased at being summoned without a clear reason, and the secrecy was making them even more irritated.

"Rossi, show it to them," Lin Tian turned and said to Rossi.

Rossi nodded and then played the video recorded on his mobile phone. Although the presence of a foreigner felt strange to the tycoons, they still focused their attention on the video.

The video was short, but the expressions of Bai Yuanhao, Sun Hai, and Qi Dapeng changed dramatically—first confusion, then frowns, and finally shock. Just as the video ended, Bai Yuanhao raised his hand and with a "whoosh," slapped Bai Yufeng across the face. Bai Yufeng was knocked over, rolling onto the floor.

The fact that he slapped his own son so hard spoke volumes about the strength of the slap and the anger in Bai Yuanhao’s heart. Bai Yufeng got up but didn’t dare sit down, instead standing there with his head lowered.

"Boss Bai, it must hurt you deeply to strike your own son," Lin Tian said coldly, watching him ’act’. Given Bai Yuanhao’s cunning, he wouldn’t lash out so fiercely without reason—it was clearly a performance for the others. Lin Tian continued coldly, "It should hurt, because he is your son, your flesh and blood."

Upon saying this, Lin Tian looked around at the other powerful figures and continued, "Bai Yufeng, Sun Decai, Mr. Qi, they are your sons, your precious sons. But aren’t the students they beat precious to their own parents too? They too were raised by parents. Have they ever wronged you, that you treat them this way? Their parents are also pained."

Memories stirred in Lin Tian’s heart, and his anger intensified as he spoke. He slammed his palm onto the table. With a "bang," the sturdy stainless steel table severely deformed under Lin Tian’s fierce force, spilling dishes and soup all over, causing everyone to step back.

They all stared in horror at the deformed table, as hard as steel yet now misshapen as if run over by a tank, completely unrecognizable. If such force were used against a person, how terribly would they be maimed!

"I called you here today not to negotiate how to resolve this matter. The terms I offer are not open for negotiation. You’ll have to agree regardless, or you all should think clearly about the consequences for your sons," Lin Tian declared imperiously.

"Lin Tian, what are your terms? Just say them," Bai Yuanhao said calmly, cutting to the point.

He understood Lin Tian’s personality. More bargaining talk would only backfire. If things escalated, they would become uncontrollable.

"Yes, state your terms. As long as they are reasonable, we will oblige unconditionally," Sun Hai said, feigning generosity, though it sounded utterly insincere.

"Reasonable? Here, what I say is reasonable," Lin Tian stated, leaving no room for negotiation. He turned to Miss and said, "President Xiao, please make sure to record this, otherwise they might choose to selectively forget."

Although once again made to act as a secretary, Xiao Manxue was actually pleased. The sight of Lin Tian chiding them with righteous indignation had surprisingly stirred her heart; this side of Lin Tian was rather appealing to her.
