Zombie Bodyguard -
Chapter 132 - 131: A Lesson in Person
Chapter 132: Chapter 131: A Lesson in Person
"Bai Yuze, are you still Huaxia people? Since when did you become lackeys?" Lin Tian glanced at him and taunted.
Bai Yuanhao and Sun Hai still wanted some respect, and their faces couldn’t quite hold the embarrassment. Bai Yuze, however, couldn’t help himself, "Lin Tian, what’s with the act of nobility? At the end of the day, you’re just a lowly bodyguard, no different from these security guards! There are plenty of people here with a higher status than you, when did it become your turn to speak?"
"Is that so?" Lin Tian’s face remained expressionless as he walked forward.
"You there, stop!" The subordinates of Futian Shenyi came out to block him.
Both were dressed in strange clothes. Lin Tian noticed their attire was a bit odd, could they be ninjas?
"You two, who just broke my door and interrupted my meal?" Lin Tian demanded, staring at them.
"It was me, what can you do about it, huh!" The ninja on the right scoffed disdainfully.
Suddenly, Lin Tian made his move, reaching for his neck, but all he caught was a piece of black cloth, and the two ninjas had disappeared.
"Lin Tian, be careful, they’re using the Ninja’s Invisibility Technique!" The Miss shouted out, ready to rush forward.
But as soon as her words fell, Lin Tian had already swiftly turned around, his hand lightning-fast as he captured the ninja who had just spoken.
"What kind of lousy Invisibility Technique, it’s just some Blinding Technique!" Lin Tian sneered disdainfully, before lifting the ninja he held in his hand above his head. The other ninja had vanished and did not reappear.
The ninja tried to exert force around his waist, his legs attempting to coil around Lin Tian’s arms, intending to snap them. Lin Tian simply ignored him, no matter how hard he twisted and writhed; his arm didn’t budge.
"This..." Futian Shenyi’s eyes bulged in shock.
The two ninjas were hired by his family and had reached the level of Mid-level Ninja. Futian Shenyi had watched their training before; their legs could twist steel pipes as thick as arms into pretzels at will.
But now, they couldn’t even break a flesh-and-blood arm, he couldn’t believe his own eyes.
"Are you done using your strength? If you are, it’s my turn." The ninja looked perplexed, and Lin Tian shook his arm.
The ninja’s entire body felt numb and his head spun, leaving him powerless, dangling limply. Lin Tian casually tossed him aside, throwing him to the ground.
"Lin Tian, you’ve got some nerve, daring to injure someone at will!" Before the host could say a word, Bai Yuze started shouting.
"Shut your mouth, you idiot!" Lin Tian retorted with a backhanded slap across his face, damn, he’d been wanting to hit him for a long time.
"Slap," the sound was resoundingly loud, shocking everyone for a moment. Even the Miss hadn’t expected Lin Tian to dare to strike someone’s son in front of Bai Yuanhao.
"Lin Tian!" Bai Yuanhao watched his son get hit, his eyes flaring with fury as he stared down Lin Tian.
"Boss Bai, what do you want to do? Do you still have the right to be angry? That Japanese guy was just bullying the waiter, where’s your anger, your fighting spirit? Did a dog eat it? I spit! And you might want to ask your precious son how he’s been talking behind Elder Zhou’s back in the jade trading market," Lin Tian loudly countered, each word leaving Bai Yuanhao speechless.
"Boss Sun, you want to call the police, right? You can try pressing the call button and see what the consequences will be, whether your honored guest ends up getting arrested, or I’ll be the one taken away!" Lin Tian turned to face Sun Hai and spoke indifferently, Sun Hai awkwardly put his phone away.
In the moment Lin Tian turned, the hidden ninja finally made his move. A gust of wind blew by, and the ninja had already maneuvered behind Lin Tian, revealing a short blade in his hand that sliced swiftly toward the back of Lin Tian’s neck.
"Ah..."
Two cries of alarm sounded simultaneously, but it was Xiao Manxuan and Yu Xiaoyu who were worried that Lin Tian had been stabbed by the knife, their worry prompting the cries.
Others, unaware of Lin Tian’s strength, also showed shocked expressions on their faces. Yet Lin Tian remained calm and collected; this ninja didn’t dare to go for a kill, but there was a network of nerves at the nape of the neck. If he were to cut that spot, the nerve fibers would be damaged, and the person would lose the ability to fight. He wouldn’t kill, but it was still extremely insidious.
Of course, Lin Tian wasn’t afraid of that knife, but that didn’t mean he was willing to let the ninja hit him. He turned around and stretched out his index and middle finger, catching the short knife with a move reminiscent of the "Spiritual Rhinoceros Finger" technique.
Just as he caught it, the ninja seemed to be hit by something and was sent flying to the side, crashing into the wall with a "bang." And in front of Lin Tian now stood Miss, still in her punching stance.
Her already curvaceous figure was emphasized further as she struck, making her appear even more upright. Lin Tian found the sight pleasing to the eye and couldn’t bear to look away.
"Miss, what a graceful pose!" Lin Tian chuckled.
"Hmph, you clearly knew there was a ninja hiding and yet you exposed your back," Miss huffed with dissatisfaction.
"If I didn’t show him my back, why would he bother to come out? It’s very tiresome for someone to hang from the ceiling," Lin Tian pointed upwards, and everyone’s gaze followed his gesture.
Indeed, the antique chandelier overhead was still swaying slightly; the ninja had been hiding up there. Everyone marveled at the ninja’s prowess but were even more amazed by Lin Tian’s perceptiveness.
"You jerk, let me check your neck, to see if you’re hurt?" Xiao Manxuan said softly, her concern ever-present.
As she spoke, she reached out to touch Lin Tian’s neck, her hand warm and soft. If the setting had been more appropriate, Lin Tian would have really wished for her to massage him with those small hands, enjoying the service of a beautiful lady.
Unbeknownst to them, Song Yanan, who was behind, saw the two Xiao sisters’ anxious expressions towards Lin Tian and revealed a meaningful smile. With two beauties concerned about him, how would the young man handle their attentions?
"Now, it’s your turn," Lin Tian said, holding the short knife in a reverse grip, and tapped Futian Shenyi’s face with the handle, scaring him stiff.
"What, what do you want? Didn’t we agree to settle this tonight? Why are you going back on your word?" Futian Shenyi said.
Damn it, now that the situation is out of control, he talks about agreements, shameless. Lin Tian put away the short knife and casually snapped it in half, the blade breaking off with a "snap."
"The agreement was for this morning, let’s deal with each thing in its own category. First, let’s settle the scores!" Lin Tian remained unfazed, smiling, "You need to compensate Xiao Yu and her brother for the medical expenses and mental anguish, then ask them how they would like you to apologize."
"Fine, no problem." Outmaneuvered, Futian Shenyi had no choice but to concede.
He pulled out a checkbook, briskly wrote a string of numbers, one million, and handed it to Lin Tian. Futian Shenyi turned to bow to Xiao Yu and her brother, but Yu Hai punched him in the face.
"We don’t need your insincere apology, get lost!" Yu Hai said with hatred.
The punch was a bit heavy, drawing blood from Futian Shenyi’s mouth. He didn’t fight back, his bodyguards weren’t there, and he couldn’t beat anyone anyway. Fighting back would only bring more humiliation.
A group of people helped up the two ninjas and left the private room.
"Brother Lin, this is the first time I’ve seen you in action. Your movements are clean and decisive, without any hesitation, a testament to your strong mindset!" Wan Gaoyuan praised generously.
"They are just flies. But I do have a question, what are the dueling rules in Zhonghai City?" Lin Tian asked, voicing the doubt in his heart.
