World’s End: My Keyword is One More Than Others
Chapter 612: Lure them in to kill them

The mist from the Seed of Humanity recovered incredibly quickly.

In just over two months, the concentration of mist inside had reached about one-third of what Du Ge had absorbed.

This was to be expected, as the Seed of Humanity was a divine artifact that nurtured a civilization. If it took ten years for the mist to recover, the Zorn civilization wouldn't have been able to develop.

When the mist was still sparse, Du Ge experimented with the Seed of Humanity again, trying to see if the mist could further enhance his body.

However, after he absorbed the mist, there was no change in his body, and the same went for Janice.

It seemed that once the body was transformed, it became immune to the mist.

One inoculation, lifetime immunity!

Realizing this, Du Ge felt particularly fortunate.

Although he nearly died because of the Seed of Humanity, his decision to absorb all the mist at that time was indeed a gamble that paid off. Otherwise, he would have been like Janice, possessing only one superpower instead of being omnipotent as he was now.

...

With the help of the Seed of Humanity, Emperor Stars began to mass-produce mutants.

Once heavily opposed, mutants were officially renamed as New Humans and became the dominant force on Emperor Stars.

Most mutants awakened with rather useless abilities, but there were still two hundred thousand mutants above grade A.

This was a formidable force, which Du Ge consolidated into a powerful army to counter the approaching Zorn God Clan.

Among them, about five thousand had the physical capability to walk in space.

After dismantling the weapon structures on the Kaska spaceship, Emperor Stars built many spacecraft, deploying them around the planet to form a layer of defense.

In Kaska's eyes, this fleet of ships was as fragile as paper.

Du Ge just smiled and said nothing.

Everyone thought his enemy was the Zorn God Clan, but only he knew that in this universe, he had no real enemies.

In fact.

Every enemy on the Alien Star Battlefield was something he had concocted himself, just to enhance his strength and make the performances for Pan-Universal Entertainment more exciting.

From beginning to end, Du Ge had only one enemy, and that was the Pan-Universal Entertainment Company.

Emperor Stars and the Zorn God Clan were merely stepping stones on his path to growth.

Having stirred chaos in the universe with the Seed of Humanity, Du Ge's goal was achieved. Was he really going to stay here and continue developing technology?

Developing technology was nowhere near as fast as seizing it...

...

As the three-month mark approached, more than a dozen white dots suddenly appeared on Emperor Stars' radar, rapidly approaching the planet.

The moment the ships were spotted, all the high-ranking officials of the Federation of Emperor Stars were on edge.

Their first contact with an alien civilization left them both nervous and excited.

Under Du Ge's call for "life and death together," the radar detection screen was broadcast live to Emperor Stars.

Seeing the alien civilization arrive with their own eyes validated Du Ge's words, and instead of uniting against a common enemy, the people of Emperor Stars fell into a new wave of panic, continuously boosting Du Ge's attributes.

Even the smallest gain was still a gain, and Du Ge wouldn't miss any opportunity to enhance his physique.

...

"Stop right there, you have entered the jurisdiction of Emperor Stars. Please report your relevant information. The Federation of Emperor Stars requests to speak with your commander," the outer defense headquarters of Emperor Stars immediately issued an interception order.

"Surrender the Seed of Humanity, or we will destroy your pathetic planet," the response was arrogant and rude.

They didn't take this barren little planet seriously at all, even though Emperor Stars had New Humans modified by the Seed of Humanity.

As if to demonstrate their might, before Emperor Stars could respond, a beam of light pierced through the atmosphere from outside the star system, striking a small island.

With a loud boom.

The shockwave spread outward from the point of impact.

All the buildings on the island were reduced to rubble by the shockwave, and the mountains were cut in half and shattered.

From space, the island looked as if it had been hit by a meteor.

At the center of the island, a crater hundreds of meters in diameter radiated outward, leveling everything around it.

The explosion triggered a tsunami on the ocean, leaving less than one-tenth of the island's inhabitants alive.

The defensive perimeter built by Emperor Stars was virtually useless.

Watching the real-time explosion footage relayed by satellites, Richard Wood and other high-ranking officials of Emperor Stars were ashen-faced.

Edward and the others didn't look any better. Although their strength had improved significantly under Du Ge's guidance, if they were placed at the center of the explosion, only Gordon, with his super speed, might escape. The rest would likely perish.

Emperor Stars' nuclear weapons could achieve similar destructive effects, but their nuclear weapons couldn't hit a target with such precision from billions of kilometers away.

Is this the difference in civilization?

All superpowers seemed laughable under the might of this cannon...

"A sub-light speed impact cannon," Kaska provided the answer, "a weapon designed to strike ground targets, requiring a divine light shield to intercept."

Everyone cast resentful glances at Kaska, thinking, what's the use of saying that if they don't have one?

"This is a warning. Our fleet will arrive in twenty minutes. Prepare the Seed of Humanity. This is not a negotiation; it's an order."

The voice continued over the communication channel, with a hint of mockery in its tone.

"Supreme God, what should we do now? Should we fight them? They are too barbaric," James asked, as the plan didn't align with their previous assumptions.

They had hoped to use other civilizations to fight against the Zorn God Clan, but who knew the other side would come and simply rob them without even talking!

A child holding gold in a busy market is bound to attract thieves!

Du Ge muttered in his heart and said, "Tell them we will prepare the Seed of Humanity, but the condition is that we want to leave with it on their ship."

"Supreme God, are you planning to abandon your subjects?" Richard Wood asked in shock.

He had touched the Seed of Humanity but hadn't awakened any superpowers, remaining an ordinary person.

At this point, the news of the Seed of Humanity on Emperor Stars had spread, surrounded by enemies, and his greatest fear was that Du Ge would abandon them.

"No, just to lull them into a false sense of security," Du Ge shook his head and said, "They have long-range weapons, and our warriors are only good at close combat. Of course, we need to lure them in to kill them."

"Aren't we supposed to use them to fight the Zorn God Clan?" Brad asked.

"To use them, we need to have a trump card," Du Ge smiled and asked, "Are those who plan to intermarry with alien civilizations loyal?"

"Absolutely loyal. Each one is a carefully selected agent with absolute loyalty to the Federation," Richard Wood said, "Even at the cost of their lives."

"That's good," Du Ge glanced at Janice and smiled, "Let our princess and prince prepare to meet the alien guests."

"Yes," Richard Wood waved his hand, and orders were issued in an orderly manner.

The liaison officer sent Du Ge's message to the other side.

The other side readily agreed to Du Ge's request, clearly intending to deceive them into handing over the Seed of Humanity first.

...

Twenty minutes later.

The enemy fleet arrived, slowly approaching Emperor Stars.

It was a fleet of warships, with a massive mothership surrounded by twelve escort ships.

The mothership was enormous, with a bluish metallic sheen, resembling a shield that obscured a vast expanse of the starry sky.

There were no markings on the ship's hull, indicating they had no intention of revealing their origins.

As they approached Emperor Stars, the escort ships revealed their gun ports, firing laser beams without restraint, clearing the defensive systems around Emperor Stars.

Then, the mothership stopped in outer space, and one of the escort ships slowly descended into the atmosphere, eventually hovering over the Western Ocean.

This was a very cautious alien fleet.

"Send the Seed of Humanity onto the escort ship." Once everything was ready, the other side sent the message again.

Escort ship?

Dream on!

Du Ge had been waiting for them to approach Emperor Stars.

The moment they stopped, he teleported above the mothership.

Then he chose a spot and phased into the interior of the mothership. The Seed of Humanity had given him a full set of superpowers, including the ability to penetrate various molecules, similar to the wall-passing technique in fairy tales.

The mothership's shields and sturdy exterior were as good as nonexistent; he didn't even need to damage the ship.

However.

As soon as Du Ge entered the ship.

A piercing alarm sounded inside the ship, and red signal lights in the corridors flashed incessantly.

Countless drones activated simultaneously, converging on Du Ge's location.

The drones closest to him opened fire immediately.

Even when Du Ge only had divine power, these drones couldn't hit him due to their speed.

Moreover, he now possessed various superpowers granted by the Seed of Humanity.

He had already considered these drones as his resources; otherwise, they would have been reduced to scrap metal in an instant.

Inside the ship, Du Ge's senses recovered. After probing the ship's internal structure, he teleported to the mothership's command center.

The people in the command center never expected their mothership to be infiltrated so easily. Before they could react, Du Ge had already taken them down.

There were about twenty people in the command center, and none of them were a match for Du Ge. They didn't even have time to draw their weapons.

"Captain, introduce yourself! Are you space pirates, rangers, or mercenaries?" Du Ge leisurely sat in the captain's chair, surveying the group he had just subdued, his gaze locking onto the bearded captain, smiling as he asked.

In the command room, there were creatures of all shapes.

Some had a single eye on their forehead, some had antennae, and some looked like octopuses, while others had bull heads...

They looked like a gathering of demons and monsters, but most of the crew were humanoid.

"Who do you think you are? You'd better let us go and hand over the Seed of Humanity, or we'll destroy your planet," a guy with a pig nose on his face roared.

"Buddy, you're free now," Du Ge looked at the pig-nosed guy, a smile playing on his lips, and pointed at him. A beam of light shot from his finger, blasting him into pieces.

Blood and flesh splattered, causing chaos and a chorus of curses in the cabin.

Some crew members reached for their guns, while others lunged at Du Ge, but how could they possibly be faster than Du Ge? As soon as they made a move, Du Ge killed them, sending them all into the embrace of the Statue of Liberty.

After four or five people died, the cabin finally quieted down, and everyone looked at Du Ge in fear, not daring to speak.

Du Ge snapped his fingers, summoning a flame to burn away the scattered blood in the cabin, filling the air with a charred stench.

"Miss, could you please turn on the air purification system?" Du Ge slightly bowed to a female crew member with antennae, smiling gracefully like a gentleman.

The female crew member forced a strained smile, "Sain, activate air purification."

"Miss, Sain is happy to serve you, wishing you fresh air every day," a mechanical voice sounded, and the foul odor in the cabin quickly dissipated as the air cleared.

"Alright, now we can talk. Do you wish to submit to me, or do you prefer to be killed and have your soul return to the embrace of the Statue of Liberty?" Du Ge asked, once again surveying the crowd.

"The soul is under the jurisdiction of the Goddess of Death," the one-eyed guy said gruffly.

"It was under her jurisdiction before, but now it's under the Statue of Liberty," Du Ge replied with a smile, "because I'm a follower of the Statue of Liberty."

The one-eyed man wanted to speak again.

"Hussein, shut up," the bearded captain glared at him and struggled to stand, bowing to Du Ge, "Your Excellency, the Sain Mercenary Group is willing to submit to you."

"A wise choice," Du Ge smiled, "Captain, now recall your escort ship from Emperor Stars and broadcast to your crew and the people of Emperor Stars that you have surrendered, and apologize for the harm caused to the people of Emperor Stars."

"Yes," the bearded captain replied, following Du Ge's instructions. He held high prestige within the mercenary group, and although the members had some complaints about his surrender, they didn't dare take any drastic actions.

The invading enemy had come with great momentum, destroying an island with a single shot. Yet, when they arrived, they didn't even make a splash before being subdued by the Supreme God and choosing to surrender, causing a huge uproar on Emperor Stars.

The people's confidence soared, and Du Ge's prestige reached an unprecedented peak, wiping out all negative remarks about him.

The Sain Mercenary Group opened up the mothership.

Du Ge teleported Janice and others inside, taking over the Sain Mercenary Group's mothership.

The detection instruments on Emperor Stars were not as advanced as those of the Sain Mercenary Group, allowing them to gather more information here.

Once everyone was assembled, Du Ge inquired about the situation in the galaxy.

In the barren land, there was no information reception system; they could only send signals but couldn't gather information from the universe.

Du Ge was adept at exploiting information gaps, and he hated the lack of transparency in information.

Captain Sain hesitated for a moment and said, "Supreme God, we should leave here immediately. The first fleet of the Zorn God Clan will arrive soon, and fleets from the Celestial God Clan and the Giant Clan are also on their way. Countless pirate groups and rangers are rushing here, and this place will soon become the most chaotic battlefield in the universe. We only have one mothership and can't possibly fight against so many powerful fleets."

Du Ge's initial request to leave with their ship led Captain Sain to misunderstand Du Ge's intentions.

"Why leave?" Du Ge glanced at him and said, "Do you think I created such a big scene just to escape with the Seed of Humanity and then be hunted by numerous civilizations?"

"..." The bearded captain was stunned.

"This is a carnival to determine the ownership of the Seed of Humanity, and my goal is to destroy the wicked Zorn God Clan. Captain, you will be honored to witness this carnival."

Du Ge stood up, his gaze fixed on the deep starry sky, and said, "Now, broadcast a message in your name, telling them that you have arrived at Emperor Stars and obtained the first ticket to the auction of the Seed of Humanity. Once ten civilizations or fleets are gathered, Emperor Stars will conduct the auction of the Seed of Humanity. Latecomers will not be entertained..."
