Woke Up to Find the Game I Made Came True -
Chapter 199
The players who excitedly brought their divine realm NPCs to White Night City soon found themselves regretting their decision.
The legendary Elven Queen remained elusive, as she only appeared in restricted areas of White Night City where players were forbidden to approach. Even if they tried, before the city guards could intervene, the divine realm NPCs—still queuing up to pay homage to the Queen—would stop the players first.
If even I’m not qualified to see the Queen, what makes you think you can disturb her?
Re-summoning divine realm NPCs required a massive amount of resources, and the ones most eager to stay in White Night City happened to be from the top-tier factions. If they were dismissed due to insufficient favorability, there was no guarantee they would answer the call again.
After weighing the pros and cons, the players—who had come to poach NPCs only to have their own stolen—had no choice but to stay in White Night City and wait for the summoning period to end.
During their stay, the players couldn’t help but watch helplessly as White Night City’s rating skyrocketed. What made it even more frustrating was that part of this growth might very well be thanks to the divine realm powerhouses they themselves had summoned!
Agent Doro, who had summoned the Half-Elven Forest Singer, had even been reassigned to work in a key development zone of the civilization. After some research, the players quickly realized the immense benefits of forest magic in territorial expansion.
As for the arrival of the Elven Queen, the most immediate impact the players could observe was the explosive growth of all plant life in White Night City—as if a controlled "plant uprising" was underway. Even ordinary decorative plants—shrubs, trees, flowers—were thriving with unprecedented vitality, growing at an astonishing rate.
The most noticeable effect, however, was on the farmland. Previously, even with all the bonuses of being the top-ranked city, White Night City’s fields could only yield two harvests per month at most.
But now… they were harvesting every single day.
Whenever players passed through the city gates, the air was thick with the rich aroma of ripening crops from the outer farmlands. The farmers of White Night City couldn’t stop grinning—their daily routine had been reduced to just two tasks: sowing and reaping.
Even in the fully industrialized Star Age, food production had never been this absurdly efficient—let alone with crops that were, by all appearances, still naturally grown.
At this stage, most player territories were in a rapid development phase, and nearly every lord, like Ye Bai in the past, had to rely on food imports to sustain population growth and dietary diversity.
So, watching White Night City’s current situation, the other lord players couldn’t help but grind their teeth in envy—how is their storage not overflowing?!
In truth, Eno Lucia, as the favored child of the World Tree, radiated an indiscriminate aura upon arriving in White Night City. Not only did ordinary crops flourish, but even the magical plants in the inner-city greenhouses thrived under her influence, filling the air with an otherworldly fragrance.
Just like Ye Bai’s feast in the Emerald Dream, magical plants that normally took months to mature now ripened in a single day under the Elven Queen’s blessing.
Fortunately, these rare plants were cultivated in magical greenhouses, and Autofis had set up spatial conduits to transport the harvest directly to the core storage area, keeping them hidden from outsiders.
If ordinary crops ripening daily made other lords seethe with envy, learning that even precious magical plants followed the same cycle would have them gnashing their teeth in frustration.
Meanwhile, wood-attribute mages passing through White Night City discovered that all their wood-based skills now carried a "Nature’s Blessing" buff, increasing their magic damage by 30% while reducing mana consumption by 20%.
While the subsequent rating increases were predictable, the initial reason for White Night City’s sudden score surge—the one that had drawn so many players to investigate—remained a mystery to the Star Age players.
Then, just as the players were stewing in a mix of envy, jealousy, and burning curiosity, another server-wide announcement echoed:
[Congratulations! White Night City has nurtured its third Master-tier professional!]
The moment the notification appeared, the other lord players were once again left dumbfounded… Had White Night City somehow become a breeding ground for Master-tier professionals?!
……
"Lucy, you’ve done well."
Inside the magical greenhouse, Eno Lucia gazed at her newly accepted apprentice with a satisfied smile.
Lucy’s cheeks flushed red as she replied excitedly, "It’s all thanks to your guidance!"
On the alchemy table before her lay the result of her latest concoction—a legendary "Dragon’s Might Potion."
This was one of the rarest types of potions: a permanent enhancement elixir. Consuming it would grant a permanent +30 boost to Strength, with a maximum of three doses per person. It was the dream potion for any physical combatant.
Of course, the true significance wasn’t the potion itself, but what its successful creation represented—Lucy’s skills had reached the pinnacle, elevating her to the rank of Master Alchemist.
Among White Night City’s elite, the talents Ye Bai had nurtured from the very beginning—Vider the blacksmith, Shawn the hunter, Nydia the performer, and Polly the scholar—had all advanced to Advanced-tier after absorbing the intermediate-level knowledge imparted by Na’o. Meanwhile, Carrie and Lucy, already Advanced-tier, had been preparing to break through to Master-tier.
But reaching Master-tier wasn’t just a matter of grinding experience—it required that crucial spark of talent and inspiration.
Otherwise, Dilina, an Advanced-tier professional, wouldn’t have followed Ye Bai to the territory just for the Weaving Clan’s fabrics, and Claire’s breakthrough wouldn’t have required a decade of accumulated experience and insight.
"Your own efforts are what truly matter," Eno Lucia said, as gentle and earnest as ever. "You are the most gifted non-elven alchemist I have ever met."
Hearing this, Lucy felt an overwhelming surge of encouragement, her face growing even redder.
During her time learning under Eno Lucia, Lucy—who had always been considered exceptionally talented among the specialists—had come to understand the true meaning of "the more you learn, the more you realize how little you know." Her past achievements and accumulated knowledge seemed pitifully shallow in comparison.
If Eno Lucia was an unfathomably deep ocean, then Lucy felt like nothing more than a tiny cup of water—no, a single drop.
This feeling remained profound even after she had broken through to the Master rank. Now, hearing Eno Lucia's affirmation instantly boosted the confidence of this somewhat shy girl.
Of course, what Lucy didn’t know was that the High Elves, unlike the Deep Sea and Ethereal Clans, lived as recluses deep within the forests. Aside from their allied kin, they rarely interacted with other races.
...
At the same time, Ye Bai, seated upon the divine throne, received a system notification.
[The advanced potion master 'Lucy' in your territory had a sudden epiphany during her training and has become a 'Grand Potion Master.']
[The resident 'Lida' in your territory had a sudden epiphany while observing and has become a 'Potion Master.']
Related personal achievements were also updated.
[You have completed the achievement: Yet Another Grandmaster]
[You have obtained the title: Hall of Potions]
"Lucy has advanced too..." Ye Bai murmured, a pleased smile spreading across her face.
The news delighted her, though it came as no surprise. A simple glance at Eno Lucia’s profession panel revealed a dazzling array of titles:
Divine Forest Mage, Divine Arcane Archer, Divine Botanist, Divine Potion Master, Divine Bard...
As one of the few divine-tier NPCs in the Celestial Realm, her innate talent, honed over millennia, naturally placed her at the pinnacle of the game—Divine rank.
This was also why, the very night Nao and his "professional team" descended upon White Night City and became residents, the territory’s evaluation score skyrocketed by two hundred thousand.
Normally, a territory’s evaluation didn’t factor in the personal levels of its residents, but it did account for their professional ranks, as the presence of high-tier professionals inherently boosted productivity.
However, the game’s design had never anticipated divine-tier professionals joining a player’s territory. Otherwise, the system would have announced it server-wide, just as it did for grandmasters.
Thus, much like the Well of Origins incident, their arrival went unnoticed, but their divine-tier professions were directly converted into territory points.
Thinking about it, it made perfect sense. Compared to divine-tier professionals, the talents Ye Bai had previously nurtured seemed rather... unprofessional.
...
In White Night City’s newly upgraded Advanced Academy, the runes naturally forming on the blackboard paused as Nao turned to the students in the lecture hall.
"That concludes today’s lesson on supernatural history," he announced.
A collective exhale of realization filled the classroom as the students rose and bowed respectfully.
"Understood. Farewell, Professor."
By now, the attendees weren’t just White Night City’s elite talents—students who had graduated through full-time education and entered the academy for advanced studies—but also a number of low-key celestial powerhouses auditing the lectures.
Ethereals, elves, dragonkin... even a Deep Sea clansman had cast a moisture spell to keep his skin hydrated, just so he could attend.
Unlike the oblivious residents of White Night City, the celestial visitors fully grasped the rarity of these lessons.
In the Celestial Realm, Ethereals were revered as sages, enlighteners, and disseminators of knowledge. Save for the inherently chaotic denizens of the Abyss, no intelligent race would refuse an Ethereal’s teachings—let alone when the lecturer was none other than the King of the Ethereals himself!
Such an opportunity, unheard of even in the Celestial Realm, was now within their grasp.
So, even though the celestial powerhouses usually lingered near the King’s vicinity, awaiting orders, none missed Nao’s lectures.
Even the typically lazy dragonkin Kegno listened with rapt attention. When Nao called out the two underachievers, Blaze and Felix, for a private session, Kegno shot them an envious look—clearly thinking they didn’t appreciate their luck.
...
"Professor Nao, will you be joining us in the Void Rift battle today?"
In the barracks, Nao began selecting his team, much like how Ye Bai had once led soldiers into dungeons. Aside from himself, Blaze, and Felix, he brought along a group of newly trained, lower-level warriors.
"Yes," Nao nodded.
Felix immediately volunteered, "I’ll protect you, Professor!"
Though he knew the professor was undoubtedly a powerful mage, in Felix’s eyes, Nao was a standard spellcaster who needed a warrior’s frontline support.
Nao blinked, then chuckled softly, giving him an appreciative nod. "Very well."
Blaze, however, noticed the headcount. "Professor, why only forty-eight people?" He recalled how the Lord always led a full fifty to secure resource points.
"Because two more will join us later," Nao explained.
"Oh... okay." Blaze nodded, as clueless as ever during lectures, though he couldn’t help but wonder how one could "join later." Still, he didn’t question it.
With a spatial flicker, all forty-eight vanished from the barracks’ plaza.
...
The moment they stepped into the dungeon, an aura of danger washed over them, making everyone tense instinctively. Felix stepped forward, positioning himself protectively in front of Nao.
"They’re coming."
Nao’s expression shifted slightly as he gazed toward a void in space.
The next instant, the dungeon’s fabric tore open—a space that should have only allowed synchronized entry was forcibly breached by overwhelming power, "inserting" two more individuals.
Gasps echoed as the group stared in shock.
From the rift emerged a towering figure—crimson hair wild, features devilishly handsome, exuding an indescribable, terrifying presence.
Though this was a dungeon teeming with mutated alchemical creatures, the scorching, high-energy aura of the Abyss that radiated from the newcomer dwarfed even the Chaos School’s corruption. Blaze and Felix, who had once braved a pseudo-Abyss dungeon with Ye Bai, shuddered uncontrollably.
The curved horns atop the figure’s head marked him as a High Demon. While Blaze only vaguely sensed his might, Felix felt a primal, biological suppression—one he had never experienced before.
The other recruits, who lacked much combat experience and were of lower ranks, couldn't help but tremble uncontrollably under such overwhelming pressure.
But then, another clear, childish voice rang out:
"Eat! Eat!"
Only then did the warriors of Baiye City notice—or rather, the figure emerged a moment later through a spatial rift—that atop the terrifying entity's head hovered a little red-haired girl. As she wriggled excitedly, the monstrous being's face twisted slightly in pain, and visible streams of energy continuously flowed into the girl's body.
The scene, which had been utterly horrifying just moments ago, now left everyone stunned and bewildered: What... what was happening?
For some reason, the presence that had seemed so fearsome before suddenly didn’t feel quite as terrifying anymore.
