Chapter 576 -38 Soul Mysterious Realm_2
At the spot Richard pointed to, there was a mistake in the energy cycle. No wonder his synthetic beast kept collapsing.
“You did it, Richard! I didn’t expect your talent in synthetic beasts to be this high! Take these books with you and have a look.”
“Magic Stone? What do you need a Magic Stone for with this kind of talent? Isn’t that just a waste of your time?”
Richard, in a daze, took the books. Did he just gain knowledge of synthetic beasts?
Back in the dormitory, Richard planned to continue reading the basic alchemy he hadn’t finished yesterday. But he stopped after flipping through a few pages.
“Isn’t this a bit too basic?”
Richard looked at the thick books on the table; the contents were all things he could understand at a glance. He could even find many errors within.
But soon, Richard realized something was off.
“What’s happening to me? Why do these things look so easy to me?”
The peculiar dream from last night flashed through Richard’s mind, with fragments where he always saw a raven’s silhouette.
“It’s a strange dream,” Richard shook his head, tossing the thoughts aside.
It took Richard only three days to finish the books Jolod gave him. After finishing, he found Jolod and pointed out all the errors in his books.
This performance made Jolod exclaim that he had met a true genius.
After that, Jolod’s library was fully opened to Richard. This was an unprecedented privilege. In just half a month, Richard read through the entire library.
“Teacher, do you have any more profound knowledge? These are too simple.”
Faced with Richard’s request, Jolod felt his worldview was about to be overturned. To assert his authority as a mentor, he decided to give his apprentice a reality check.
“If you’re such a genius, then follow me into research.”
Three days later, under Richard’s guidance, Jolod successfully created a battle beast reaching Third Level.
“Unbelievable, truly unbelievable.” Jolod muttered to himself, eyes glazing.
In these three days, Richard, acting as an apprentice, corrected no less than fifty mistakes for him using the knowledge he also possessed.
The term genius could no longer fully describe Richard; his name should become synonymous with genius.
Afterwards, Richard began following Jolod around visiting friends. His academy contract was directly voided by Jolod; what bloody trials, a mind like Richard’s lost in bloody trials would be a loss to the Wizard World.
Ahead academically, Richard also stood out in life.
Anna, Ali, Della, Vini… Richard couldn’t quite remember the names of those girls.
He followed Jolod to a place and would meet some beautiful women.
These individuals ranged from inheritors of wizard families, to sole apprentices of great wizards, to sole heirs of wizard commerce. During this, Richard even met a Three Rings Witch, whose power temporarily slumped to Wizard Apprentice due to a failed experiment.
All of them fell for Richard’s knowledge, charm, personality, and other factors, willingly joining his harem.
Truthfully, Richard even felt like he was the protagonist of some pulp novel, specifically the stud type.
Otherwise, how could he meet so many great girls?
Time passed like flowing water, and in a blink, twenty years had gone by.
In these twenty years, besides acquiring countless members in his harem, Richard established a wizard commerce and used strategic commercial wars to crush an old magic potion commerce, gobbling up its assets and its heir secretly admiring Richard.
The magic potions he created sold out immediately upon market launch, and envoys from the Wizard Academy even had to line up to meet his whole Wizard Apprentice.
All of this made Richard feel very surreal, yet the voice by his ear he couldn’t clearly hear never vanished.
The span of twenty years brought Richard to the peak spiritual power of Wizard Apprentice, and he’s finally about to ascend to a wizard.
Entering the ascension chamber of the Tower of Truth, Richard entered the state effortlessly. In the Soul Darkness, he met the Wizard World Origin.
But unlike common folk, upon encountering Richard, the Wizard World Origin directly tore apart the Soul Darkness.
Richard found himself becoming a One Ring Wizard, bewildered, the entire ascension process taking less than an hour.
The next moment, a white light sparked beneath him, teleporting him to a special room. Inside, a wooden alchemy puppet was holding a plane, smoothing a board.
“This is ridiculous.”
Richard blurted out something he couldn’t understand why he said.
In that instant, his dazed eyes came back to focus.
“Is this the Soul Mysterious Realm?” Richard looked at the wooden puppet, speaking calmly.
The wooden puppet stopped, turned to look at Richard.
“I prefer calling this the Perfect World.”
The wooden puppet’s reply surprised Richard slightly.
“You possess wisdom?”
“Yes, and no. I’m a mirror; if a wise creature views me, I have wisdom. If you leave, I lose the wisdom.”
“Are you a dimensional creature of the Illusionary Dimension?”
“I suppose so.”
“Is this yet another layer of illusion?”
“If you think it is, then it is.”
Richard gazed at the wooden puppet, finally hearing clearly the voices he’d struggled to discern over the past twenty years.
“Great Sage, may your glory endure forever.”
“Great Sage, may you bless me to win this battle.”
“Great Sage, please let my father survive.”
…
“So, this is the advantage of the road of accomplishment? Someone is reminding you.” Richard muttered to himself.
Then he looked at the mechanical puppet and asked: “How do I get out of here?”
“If you want to, you can leave at any time. But once you leave, you can never come back.”
The mechanical puppet waved casually, and all the companions Richard had made over the years, the powerful subordinates he’d conquered, were now all brought into the room.
“Richard, are you leaving?” Ali’s eyes were red, tears circling in her eyes.
“Richard, you’re not allowed to leave!” Anna looked like a stern Ice, but her eyes were likewise red.
Jolod’s voice held pleading as he murmured: “Richard, our commerce has only just started; we agreed to topple Tesla’s throne.”
Richard’s companions, friends, subordinates, were all pleading with him not to leave.
Richard stood there, sighing softly: “The perfect world is indeed wonderful, but I prefer a more real world.
Goodbye, but not farewell, everyone; if I remember you when I wake up, I will miss you.”
After saying that, Richard opened his eyes.
“World Mushroom, how long did I sleep?”
