Chapter 420: Chapter 298: New Broadcast: Ash Defeats Vonier with 3 Strikes
After defeating the Overlord Vonier, there’s actually a new broadcast?
As everyone knows, the Sain Dungeon reaches its peak of popularity when a new video broadcast and a new area appear.
Now that a new video has appeared, everyone’s exhausted mind and body after the fierce battle can’t help but be invigorated.
Elsa is still a newcomer to the Dungeon, not quite understanding why everyone is so excited, but since everyone is so focused, she also straightens her back and imitates their demeanor.
A serene and melodious music plays, and specks of starlight suddenly appear before everyone’s eyes, the view pulling back to reveal a night sky full of stars.
Moonlight spills onto the earth, silvery light passing through the floor-to-ceiling windows of a corridor, illuminating a slender figure with the Shadow Sun crown covering the upper half of the "woman’s" face.
"She" gazes at the night sky, several long snakes slithering out from beneath her long dress, coiling around her, their expressions indistinguishable from hers, exuding melancholia amidst the tranquility.
Even though half of the face is covered by the crown, the exposed delicate chin is enough to declare her a rare beauty, enough to quicken even Luluwo’s heartbeat despite being the same gender.
But aside from being amazed by the other’s beauty and grace, Luluwo had another question.
This woman before her, isn’t she the Shadow Sun that appeared in the Fran Undead Team’s bonfire video?
Besides the background music being different, the characters in both videos are the same, the scenes are the same, the actions are the same...
Isn’t this just material reuse!?
Just as she was about to complain, the scene changed, the corridor under the night sky suddenly transforming into the interior of a majestic and splendid palace, and even though the outside couldn’t be seen, the interior decorations alone made it clear this was where the gods resided.
The Shadow Sun stood atop a high platform, looking down upon a multitude of beings, and behind her.
Luluwo suddenly held her breath.
Two golden figures stood resolutely behind the Shadow Sun, from appearance to aura, it was evident they were absolute powerhouses!
One was tall and muscular, wearing golden lion-like full body armor, with a long spear entwined in thunder, an extraordinary presence.
The other was corpulent, wearing armor more exaggerated than the Onion Knight’s, holding a mighty hammer, exuding an executioner’s ruthlessness.
These two characters, just from their looks, seemed so overpowering that they perfectly complemented the slender silhouette of the Shadow Sun, giving a great sense of security.
It seemed as long as these two existed, no one could harm the Shadow Sun!
"’Shadow Sun’ Gwendolin, after the gods departed, alone guarded the Royal City, offering trials to the heroes aspiring for Fire Transmission, with ’Dragon Hunter’ Ornstein and ’Executioner’ Smough loyally protecting the Royal City."
Under the steadfast guard of Gwendolin and her two capable lieutenants, although the Royal City was desolate after the gods’ departure, it maintained a superficial grandeur and solemnity, and heroes continuously entered the Royal City for Fire Transmission trials, the endeavor seemed sustainable.
But at that moment, the tranquil background music was suddenly broken, a shadow like large hands looming over everyone.
The image froze, the vibrant scene gradually losing color, becoming a drifting piece of painting.
Red and purple flames roared up, instantly consuming the painting to ashes, and an endless black substance suddenly surged forth, devouring everything.
That was not the Abyss, but rather the being people had seen in other bonfire videos—the "Deep Saint" Elderly!
"Yet as the flames wane, all things inevitably fall into decay, can the path of Fire Transmission truly hold hope?"
"The gods’ power dwindles with the flicker of flames, and a conspiracy constructed by the ambitious envelops Yanor Londo."
An elderly female voice suddenly spoke several place names.
"The walls of Losric."
The scene shifted, beneath the towering walls, knights of different factions were embroiled in a bloody melee, smoke rising, corpses littered everywhere, and in a nearby building, a dancer of abnormal height paced back and forth, while at the gate opposite, a coldly howling beast-like knight also turned into an alien.
Their names were [Dancer of the Cold Valley] and [Vordt of the Cold Valley].
"Path of Living Sacrifice."
The scene changed again, showing a view people had never seen, a road hidden amidst dense forests, filled with gatherings of Crow Men.
And guarding the must-pass place on the Path of Living Sacrifice, was a frosty Knights of War from the Cold Valley.
The Knights of War’s figure remained unchanged, but the scene behind him continually transformed, one name after another being read aloud.
"Deep Church, City of Sin, Losric, Yanor Londo...."
This seemed to imply that in every region mentioned, the presence of the Knights of War was evident, the influence from the mysterious Cold Valley was omnipresent!
And finally, a familiar area name was read out.
"Casas Underground Tomb."
The scene returned to the Underground Cemetery that everyone was most familiar with, where in a certain space in the cemetery, men dressed in two distinct styles were communicating.
One side was either tall and thin or short and fat, dressed like people from some church.
The other side was all tall silver knights, exuding cold aura, no need for further scrutiny, they too were from the Cold Valley.
The knight handed something to the church personnel, and the latter revealed a sickeningly sleazy smile.
