Who Designed This Underworld Dungeon? -
Chapter 254 - 202
Chapter 254: 202
And the magic produced in the Dungeon, basically, it’s impossible to have a master.
"I also agree to explore the Sain Dungeon." Seth nodded and said, "I’m very curious about what kind of life the ancient Magicians led."
"Is that the topic of your next paper?" Turci asked with interest.
"No," Seth unusually frowned, expressing his headache: "It’s one of my students, if he can’t come up with a proper paper, he’ll never be able to advance in his career."
"Oh, I remember now, it’s the one who’s obsessed with Monsters all day, right? The papers he submitted are all about how to tame Monsters, not very valuable."
"So, as his mentor, I need to figure out a way to help him."
Seth’s eyes twitched; having been a mentor for so many years, this was his first time ghostwriting a paper for a student.
He would never allow a student under his supervision to fail in progressing!
Hades sat quietly without speaking, just slightly nodding, which seemed to acknowledge their decision.
Therefore, on the next day, the door of Gapar’s house was knocked on.
However, the face that appeared in front of Gapar was one he had never thought he would see.
"Good morning, Mr. Sword Saint."
A scruffy, grinning face pushed into Gapar’s view.
Though it was a smiling face, upon closer inspection, this scruffy man’s forehead was sweating, his gaze far from tranquil, rather it looked somewhat panicked.
It was like a salted fish who had been avoiding work and staying at home was suddenly forced to participate in an event of the big shots; unable to provoke any of them, he could only offer a forced smile.
"How come it’s you, lad?" Gapar was puzzled.
"Hehe, didn’t expect you still remember me."
Roger said with a smile, feeling his cheeks nearly stiff from it.
"Of course, I remember you, you were the first one to give me a Fire Dragon mating image as a gift, and yet asked for my help."
"It was a misunderstanding, I picked up the wrong package that time, please forgive me."
"Cough cough."
A coughing sound came from behind, causing Roger to stiffen immediately.
Gapar looked past him and saw Turci waving cheerfully at him, and Hades nodding at him.
But Seth was nowhere to be seen.
"Mr. Gapar, we have decided to accept your proposal, when shall we depart?" Turci asked.
"Anytime."
Gapar showed amazing efficiency, and a few minutes later, they arrived at the Fire Transmission Ceremony site.
Through the conversation along the way, they finally understood why Roger ended up in this upscale group.
Because his mentor, Seth, had something urgent and couldn’t come, he simply dragged the main subject, who needed to write a paper, out of his house and threw him into this team of big shots.
Surrounded by people he couldn’t afford to offend left and right, Roger was extremely scared, especially afraid of Hades, he would break out in cold sweat just from glancing at him, occasionally taking a sip of water to stay hydrated.
He normally liked to make sarcastic remarks, but here, a slip of the tongue could cost him his life.
Roger was now trembling like a little thief dragon who mistakenly entered the territory of the map king.
"This is my first time entering a Dungeon."
Turci, looking at the scenery of the Fire Transmission Ceremony, was filled with curiosity.
"I heard that the Sain Dungeon is full of filthy water, but this place looks quite nice."
The lowest ranked, Roger, hurried to explain to her: "What you’re mentioning must be Fran Fort, that place indeed stinks."
Turci nodded her head, took out the Image Stone, and found a good angle to take several shots, especially focusing on the bonfire.
Hades looked at the clear blue sky, his expression not so intimidating anymore.
Gapar glanced at Roger, mourned for a second for this guy who had to be extremely cautious, then led everyone towards the elevator.
To get to the elevator, they must pass through a graveyard behind the ceremony site.
"Are these light points the items produced by the Dungeon?" Turci picked up a light point in front of a tombstone and obtained Green Flower Grass.
Roger’s eyelids twitched, and he hurriedly said, "Wait, don’t go near there—"
Before he could finish, a ghastly pale skeleton hand suddenly shot out and grabbed Turci’s wrist!
Roger despairingly closed his eyes, thinking she would explode in anger.
"It has a firm grip."
However, Turci just observed the skeleton hand. There was a transparent film between it and her wrist, so it couldn’t actually touch her.
As a professor specialized in Defense Magic, she was always covered by a layer of transparent defensive shield.
The entire graveyard began to shake, and one skeleton after another emerged from the graves. This place had left an unforgettable trauma on Maru from the Strategy Group; would these professors be affected similarly?
Gapar raised his sword scabbard, intending to smash the skeleton’s skull, but the other two showed no reaction.
Seeing this, he put down his weapon and decided to see what the youngest Magic Professor would do.
"Oh, picking up the light points triggers monster attacks, a punishment for the greedy... I quite agree with this concept; perhaps I could grow to like this place."
Turci chanted an incomprehensible spell and casually released a warm-colored mist into the air.
"Healing Magic?" Gapar felt vitality slowly emerging as his body touched the mist; it was undoubtedly Healing Magic.
But what use was it here?
Then, something miraculous happened. The restless Skeleton Warriors stopped moving, and a few seconds later, they even crawled back into the ground, returning to their slumber.
The once trembling graveyard suddenly calmed down, and Roger timely provided an explanation:
"This is a new type of Healing Magic invented by Ms. Tiso; its biggest feature is to dissolve the enemy’s will to fight, using the comfort brought by healing to pacify their emotions."
Tiso was Turci’s surname, from an ancient magic family.
Quite interesting, Gapar nodded slightly.
Turci’s silhouette flickered in and out of sight within the warm-colored magic mist, her beige hair casually draped over her shoulders, revealing a captivating angle of her perfect profile under her wide-brimmed pointed hat; elegant, noble, and beautiful.
The atmosphere was intense, the style also intense.
Calming the emotions of monsters sounded like the role of a kind-hearted goddess in a legendary story, beautifully recreated by humans.
However, the monsters in the Sain Dungeon couldn’t simply be pacified.
The Skeleton Warriors buried in this graveyard harbored utmost malice towards all intruders; even if they couldn’t harm these people, they would try everything to make them look foolish!
The creatures of the Sain Dungeon and their master had similar temperaments; neither liked to watch others show off in their dungeon.
The emotional fluctuations from adventurers’ failures could generate a massive amount of spiritual power!
Then, a skeleton monster, under pressure, quietly emerged from the soil and threw a round pot, usually hung on Leon’s back, towards Turci.
"Whoosh—"
A flash of sword light, the Feces Pot was precisely cut in half, Gapar wouldn’t ignore an ambush.
However, an intense stench suddenly erupted, so strong it made people involuntarily want to flee!
Because... this Feces Pot contained an odorous bomb from monster hunting!
Turci’s pretty face instantly changed color; no longer caring about the atmosphere or style, she nearly ran away from the source of the stench.
But after two steps, she couldn’t hold back the churning in her stomach and "wow" vomited.
Looking back at the others, their situation was similar, except Gapar didn’t seem to react.
Leaning against the tombstone while vomiting, Turci thought:
I really still hate this place!
