The weather’s great today. I stood there, in my pajamas, looking at the clear, cloudless sky, after opening the curtains. Peace…

I yawned and headed for the bathroom, starting my usual preparations. It’s my day off, and I have no plans, so I’ll just relax. But I made sure to get up on time, so I wouldn’t miss out on a delicious breakfast. I’m such a glutton.

I returned to my room and stood in front of the full-length mirror, thinking about what to wear. My storage bracelet’s capacity had been increased by a ridiculous amount, so all my clothes were in there instead of the closet. Everyone’s just too overprotective… Though I am grateful!

I used the display function that had been added recently and chose my outfit. Yellow tank top and a navy blue, wide-necked, top. Then I chose short beige gaucho pants, and brown sneakers! Though I’m just choosing it from a pre-selected outfit, so it’s easy! I’m so grateful, if I had to choose individual pieces, I’d probably make a weird combination.

I glanced at the necklace I was wearing. It’s a small, silver, flower motif, it went well with any outfit, because it was understated. Maille-san had given it to me. It’s a fashionable magic tool, and apparently it’s even become a trend. Maille-san’s influence is incredible.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to use it for… But Maille-san had given it to me. And it must be expensive, so maybe I should wear it at least once more and show it to him.

And I had nothing to do today. Now would be a good time to try it. But the color… What should I do? Ah, that’s right! Why don’t I try going back to black hair and black eyes? A nostalgic Japanese style!

“Okay! Let’s do this!”

The girl reflected in the mirror had black hair and black eyes! Because I remembered my colors from Megu’s life, it had changed just as I imagined. Though because her features were too well-defined, she didn’t look Japanese at all.

Even so, it felt strange, because I was so used to my current coloring. It’s odd, before, my pink hair and indigo eyes had felt like cosplay. It’s scary how quickly you get used to things. I couldn’t help but stare at myself in the mirror—

Saura-san, about to start work, called out to me in front of the stairs to the basement.

“That’s right!”

Saura-san praised me, saying it was good to wear it and then go thank them.

“Because your current colors… aren’t those Gil’s colors?”

“Okay, I’ll go then! Maille-san, thank you very… Eh?”

I’d just made this decision, I was thanking Maille when I was suddenly blinded by a bright light. I squeezed my eyes shut. What’s going on?!
