"Good"

"But not good enough" he added. Aeryon only laugh at this.

"The spectator could see more than the one in the game" Mayeux suddenly said

"Kan, you overestimate them too much and you see only the danger. The more you think of the danger, the more danger sprouted. Until you yourself feel there is swords and spear at every turn, there is scheme and plots at every corner. It is fine if you think like this, but if this is the only thing you think about, then how could you make any move?"

Mayeux then strode toward the table and look at the map, a smile on his face and he chuckles.

"You analysed the advantage of those tribes and focused on the danger, but you forgot the opportunity that is presented to us, and our strength and our advantages. You look at the spear and swords, the plots and intrigue and you forget that we have shields and amour, spies and merchants to be our eyes and ears"

"The open in the game could not see clearly" Aeryon mutters.

And Mayeux nodded

"Bolghar is a crucial part of my strategy. But it is not the only part. Kan conquest toward the west is like throwing a boulder into a calm lake"

"The waves ripples and the rippling affects the lake. Now, everyone is making a move. But is that move wise? What are their ambitions? What are their goals?"

There is a cunning smile on the corner edges of Mayeux smiles

"Their goals and objective the kind of moves they could make depends on that tribe ambitions, depends in the tribe capacity for risk:

"A defensive tribe would do defensive battle. An aggressive tribe would attack and expands. But how many people have the ambition to compete for the world? And how any of them are actually capable of doing it?" And at this Mayeux smiles

’Once you find out this, you could predict to some extent what those tribes would do. We will win."

Aeryon smiles a bit and tilted his head

"How do you have such confidence that we would win?"

Mayeux paused for a second smile and then he said confidently

"because you have me"

Hearing this Aeryon was stunned for a second, close his eyes, smile and then he laughed loudly in the tent

The laugh was so hearty that it even felt like the laugh could dispel the cold of the winter. It took a few second for him to gather himself before he ask

"Explain to me then?" he paused for a second and then added

"How would we win?" Mayeux then ask

"Burka would not attack Bolghar but what about Bolghar?"

Aeryon understood something

"You’re telling me Bolghar would attack Burka? Won’t they be worried about Khagai and Toghrul tribe?"

At this Mayeux smiles

"You forgot"

"I forgot?"

"The western border tribes would not attack each other"

Mayeux said as he raised his eyebrows and Aeryon remembers back that there is such a thing

The tribes on the western border did this to make sure that the western border is secured from their western neighbours.

Even the Ashana would say something when something like that happen. So Bolghar could ignore the two tribes that is neighbouring with them

But.... how could those two tribes let them expand, one might ask?

After all, Khagai also tries to do the same thing before and the Khagai tribe is repelled repeatedly

"Just a few days after returning to the western borders, the Khagai tribe assimilate many new clans and small tribes around them and Khagai tribe warriors increase even more than before"

"In the region that is ruled by the Khagai, only the largest tribe listen to his orders. But after the battle in Nurshira, his prestige rises and the small tribes and the powerful clans inside the region all send their support for Valgrun. His prestige is rising and so is his influence. If Bolghar tribe time it right, the moment Burka tribe send their warriors, the Bolghar tribe could attack the Burka tribe at that time"

Now that he is given hint, Aeryon understand more and his eyes look at the name of the tribes and in his mind liking all of these clues.

"Gir and Ino tribe probably would help Burka"

"Or they might not do anything. But it doesn’t matter whether they did something or not. It matters that if Bolghar did go to Burka then....." Aeryon look at Mayeux and shakes his head

"You want Khagai to enter at this time?" there is shock in Aeryon face and Mayeux laugh as he nodded his head

Aeryon shake his head again, as he could not quite believe it. This much calculation, this much interconnected plan

All of this is connected.

It is beautiful.

And it is terrifying.

One action leads to another and Mayeux is calculating those actions.
