Chapter 62: Three-leaf Nebula Triple Star
Chapter 62: Chapter 62: Three-leaf Nebula Triple Star
After brazenly stealing the Gravity Stone, the old Constant Star arrogantly made its departure.
At this moment, it couldn’t wait to try plundering Hydrogen from the Three-leaf Nebula with the Gravity Stone, having no time to bother with Lu Chen and Wandering, these two insignificant nuisances!
"Damn it, that old scumbag!"
Watching the old Constant Star drift away, Wandering cursed angrily.
Lu Chen, however, didn’t speak; his face remained grim as he watched the diminishing size of the old Constant Star.
Wandering glanced at Lu Chen and said with guilt, "Big brother, I’m sorry, it’s my fault. If it weren’t for me, the Gravity Stone wouldn’t have been snatched!"
"It’s not your fault, I was too careless myself, I’m still too kind at heart, I actually forgot about the law of the jungle and the Dark Forest Law at that moment!" Lu Chen said solemnly.
Affected by Lu Chen’s somber aura, a terrifying storm began to gather slowly on the surface of his Planet!
His Planet’s mass was now ten thousand times that of Earth, even larger than Jupiter. The storm on the Planet directly exceeded the diameter of Earth.
Wandering looked at the old Constant Star, now reduced to a Light Point in the sky, unwillingly asking, "Big brother, what do we do now? Just let that old scumbag take the Gravity Stone without any consequences?"
"And what would you like to do? Fight to the death with a star?" Lu Chen retorted.
Hearing this made Wandering feel distressed, and impulsively, he started chasing after the old Constant Star: "I’m going to fight that old bastard, I must take back your Gravity Stone!"
"Don’t be impulsive, we aren’t a match for the Constant Star yet, fighting head-on is just throwing away our lives."
Lu Chen quickly locked onto Wandering with Gravity and hurriedly chased after him: "Of course I won’t just let this go, I, Lu Chen, am not one to suffer losses easily. But to reclaim the Gravity Stone, we need to wait for the right opportunity, so don’t be impulsive. Maybe I spoke a bit harshly just now, don’t take it to heart!"
"Big brother, do you already have a plan?" Wandering slowed down and asked curiously.
Lu Chen sneered: "Look at that old Constant Star, clearly it’s panic-stricken by death. It must urgently want to plunder Hydrogen, but it may not be clear on when and how to use the Gravity Stone, and its anxious state may also lead to mistakes. We’ll just follow behind it and wait for the perfect chance to act!"
Lu Chen was very calm, seeing things very clearly!
Immediately, both Lu Chen and Wandering set off in the direction of the old Constant Star.
Their speed was not very fast, merely 500KM/S, matching the old Constant Star’s speed, as they were in no hurry to catch up and alert it. Instead, they followed slowly, waiting for their moment.
...
Three-leaf Nebula.
The old Constant Star, eager to return, finally reached the Three-leaf Nebula.
Without saying a word, it headed straight towards the core region of the Three-leaf Nebula.
The scale of the Three-leaf Nebula was much larger than that of the Ant Nebula, with a diameter of about 8 light-years, composed of three maple-leaf-shaped nebulae gas groups, hence the name Three-leaf Nebula.
In the three leaflets of the Three-leaf Nebula, two appear peach-red and one is bright blue. Together, they resemble a gorgeous and mysterious garden in the quiet black Universe.
The reason for this extraordinary phenomenon is because, at the core region of the Three-leaf Nebula, there lies a dazzling triple star!
A triple star refers to a Constant Star System comprised of three Constant Stars, principally formed by a pair of Twin Stars coupled with a medium-distance Constant Star, creating a superimposed Double Star System. Within this unique Constant Star System, the three stars orbit the common center of mass under each other’s Gravitational pull.
Such a scenario is very rare in the Universe and formation requires extremely stringent conditions, it can truly be considered a miracle!
As the triple stars move in relation to each other, they continuously emit powerful radiation. This radiation bombards the nebula’s hydrogen atoms, causing them to lose electrons. When the highly agitated electrons recombine with protons, they emit peculiar light—that is, the peach-red and bright blue colors seen by Lu Chen and the Wandering.
This is the fundamental reason why the Three-leaf Nebula displays such dazzling colors.
However, Lu Chen suddenly recalled the novel Three Body, and if the novel were to become reality, then surely the Mother Star System of the Three-Body People would be the Three-leaf Nebula ahead!
As Lu Chen and the Wandering approached the edge of the Three-leaf Nebula, they could see the stunning color structure.
The old Constant Star was braving the terrifying Constant Star Wind, gradually nearing the core area of the Three-leaf Nebula.
Due to the Three-leaf Nebula having three Constant Stars of equal mass, it can form a special triple star. Otherwise, it would not be possible, hence the Constant Star Wind within the nebula is much stronger than the Ant Nebula. Even the edge region is over three million times stronger than the Solar Wind, and the core region is unimaginable!
In the process of the old Constant Star moving against the fierce Constant Star Wind,
its own Constant Star Wind would clash with that of the Three-leaf Nebula. However, because its own Constant Star Wind is not very strong, it would get compressed by the Nebula’s Constant Star Wind into a shock wave oscillation zone at 0.5 astronomical units outside the Constant Star Body.
This shock wave zone is far more terrifying than those outside the Solar System!
From a distance, it looks as if two cosmic waves are relentlessly colliding, sparking intense flashes of electricity. The colliding matter spreads outwards, initially forming small nebulae clusters, only to be destroyed by subsequent Constant Star Winds, and once again getting caught up in the collision of Constant Star Winds.
Continuous collision, destruction, regeneration, and then collision again... this is the true portrayal of the shock wave zone!
The old Constant Star, bracing against the Constant Star Wind, needed to intensify its nuclear fusion reactions, emitting a large amount of matter. Fortunately, during its course, it could also absorb the passing Constant Star Wind, mitigating the mass loss somewhat.
Gradually, it finally entered the core area of the Three-leaf Nebula!
"Although this trip consumed a good deal of mass, luckily I obtained Gravity Stones. The existence of Gravity Stones allows me not to wait for the long stretches of time and directly achieve rapid rebirth. From this perspective, everything was worth it!"
After entering the core region of the Three-leaf Nebula, the old Constant Star couldn’t help but become more excited, as it was about to be reborn.
Originally, according to his plan, it would have to wait for the triple star of the Three-leaf Nebula to reach the end of its stellar life and undergo a Supernova Explosion to successfully achieve this.
Imagine, three Supernovae exploding at the same time—undeniably unparalleled in power, with an immense amount of Hydrogen Element being ejected, colliding and compressing with the nebula’s Hydrogen, potentially compressing into a high-density Hydrogen Gas Group. A newborn Constant Star emerges from it, and the old Constant Star wanted to seize the opportunity of the triple Supernova Explosions to reconstitute its mass structure to attain rebirth.
And to grow from a small-mass Constant Star into a Medium-mass Constant Star, or even a high-mass Constant Star!
However, according to the old Constant Star’s calculations, the triple star would still need about ten million years to exhaust its Hydrogen and enter the Supernova phase.
But now, having obtained Gravity Stones, it can achieve rebirth ten million years ahead of schedule, how could not an imminent dying star be thrilled?
