Walker Of The Worlds
Chapter 2903 - 2903: Another Path Of Burden

Lin Mu smiled slightly, relieved.

"I'm glad I brought it out. Better it be used here than collecting dust in my ring."

The abbot bowed deeply once again.

"I have no words. You've not only saved us, you've granted us a path forward. We will build the next foundation of our monastery around this shard. And in return… I swear to aid you in whatever path you walk. If the Golden Dominator Sutra is what you seek, I will see that you receive all the knowledge and techniques our lineage preserved. I will even reach out to any of our lost kin, should we find them."

Lin Mu bowed back in appreciation.

"That means a great deal, Senior Abbot. Thank you."

They both stood in reverent silence as the Gravity Star Shard hovered between them, softly rotating like a miniature cosmos.

It was a small thing, a speck in the grand tapestry of cultivation treasures—but in this moment, it was hope incarnate.

Later that day, the monks began preparing the inner sanctum for the shard's eventual enshrinement, crafting formation arrays that would harmonize with its gravity Dao, and inscribing new sutras for tempering.

They didn't need Lin Mu's help now. The Great Burden Monastery had many methods of setting up a Heart of Gravity within their libraries that were intact even now. As such they could do this work on their own and let Lin Mu rest.

Meanwhile, Lin Mu found a quiet moment to himself, seated on a bench with Meng Bai watching the monks work.

"You really had that shard just sitting in your ring?" Meng Bai asked, his eyes wide.

Lin Mu gave a sheepish grin.

"You'd be surprised how much stuff I forget is in there."

The boy chuckled, then leaned back, sighing contentedly.

"I think they'll be fine now."

Lin Mu nodded, but his thoughts were already moving forward—toward the Golden Dominator Sutra, the Dominator's Breath, and the scattered remnants of the Vimana Realm.

The road was still long. But for now, one burden had been lifted—both for himself, and for the monastery that had carried the weight of silence for far too long.

Over the next month, Lin Mu immersed himself in the teachings and practices of the Great Burden Sutra. Though his main focus had been to help stabilize the monastery, his curious nature and his own passion for body cultivation led him to dive deeper into the monks' techniques.

The monastery's gravity-infused methods were unlike anything he had encountered before. While his body was already honed from years of intense training and his dual techniques, the monks here had perfected the art of weight manipulation to an extraordinary degree.

The Great Burden Sutra was designed to strengthen the body by adapting it to extreme gravitational forces. It tempered the practitioners' muscles, bones, and veins to the point where they could bear immense pressure. Lin Mu marveled at their adaptability to gravity and how their cultivation technique intertwined with the laws of mass and weight.

The monks, in turn, were curious about Lin Mu's own techniques. As they exchanged knowledge, it became evident that Lin Mu was not merely an average cultivator. His dual body cultivation techniques—the Three Apertures Invoking Technique and the Tyrant Bull Marrow Secrets—intrigued the monks, who were astonished by the sheer depth of his cultivation.

Most body cultivators focused on one primary method, but Lin Mu's ability to harness the power of two seemingly incompatible techniques was nothing short of astonishing.

One morning, while the monks were gathered in the central courtyard, a conversation turned into a lively discussion on body cultivation. Lin Mu casually mentioned his techniques, and the abbot's eyes widened in disbelief.

"You cultivate two body techniques simultaneously? That is… quite rare," the abbot said, his voice full of reverence. "The strain on your body must be unimaginable."

Lin Mu chuckled lightly.

"It was difficult at first, but I've grown accustomed to it. The Three Apertures technique opens provides me with great stores of Immortal Essence, while the Tyrant Bull Marrow Secrets focuses on external power, allowing me extreme feats of strength. Together, they complement each other. One provides the fuel the other manifests its power."

The monks listened intently, exchanging glances of awe.

"But does your body not suffer from such excess?" one monk asked. "Many would perish under such strain."

Lin Mu smiled, his eyes gleaming.

"That's where the Tyrant Bull Marrow Secrets durability come in. This with my Mortal Strengthening Scripture of the past as well as the True Gold Body Forging Art allows me to withstand that strain while drawing the Immortal Essence I cultivate from the Three Apertures Invoking Technique."

The monks were left speechless, impressed by his ability to balance two completely different aspects of body cultivation.

After a few days of sharing insights, the monks were eager to witness Lin Mu's strength firsthand. They had heard much about his ability, but it was a different matter altogether to see it in action.

The monastery courtyard became the setting for a friendly sparring match. Several monks, all equal to the Fourth Tribulation Stage of the Immortal Realm, lined up, eager to test their strength against Lin Mu, who had not yet revealed his true power.

The first monk, Shian, a tall, broad-shouldered man with a deep voice and a steady presence, stepped forward. His frame was dense with muscle, his cultivation clearly reflected in his powerful build. With a small bow, he assumed a martial stance.

"Let's see how well you fare under our Great Burden's strength," Shian said with a grin. "Our bodies have been tempered by gravity itself. We crush rocks with ease."

Lin Mu nodded, stepping into position. He had already adapted to the increased gravity and had learned much about their martial style. He focused, drawing on his own cultivation techniques to prepare.

The moment Shian moved, Lin Mu felt the immense weight of his strikes. Each movement carried the force of a boulder crashing down. The monk's fists seemed to carry the weight of the world itself, aiming to pulverize Lin Mu with sheer might.
