Chapter 367: Yu Yu is very angry
Han Xin’s eyes opened with a start. The morning sun softly filtered through the sheer curtains, painting the room in a warm golden hue. For a brief moment, confusion clouded his mind. He didn’t remember where he was. Then, he felt the warmth of another body in his arms. He looked down and saw Xiang Yu, peaceful and serene, nestled against him
A wave of memories rushed back, and Han Xin swallowed hard. Last night had been so intense and erotic. He must have lost his mind to speak the way he did to Xiang Yu. He shifted slightly, rubbing the sleep from his eyes with a sigh. It was clear now. Xiang Yu had bewitched him, ensnaring him without him even realizing it
He gazed down at Xiang Yu’s face, illuminated by the morning light. The sun highlighted his striking features, giving them an ethereal glow. Xiang Yu’s complexion was smooth, with a warm golden undertone that seemed to absorb the sunlight. His eyelids, adorned with delicate lashes, lay gently over his captivating phoenix eyes, creating an aura of tranquillity.
High cheekbones added a regal elegance, while his chiselled jawline remained relaxed in sleep. As the sunlight kissed his full lips, they curved into a faint, mysterious smirk, as if he were lost in a delightful dream.
With a contented sigh, Xiang Yu shifted, instinctively reaching for Han Xin. Han Xin held his breath as Xiang Yu nestled his face into his chest, breathing in the comforting scent that lingered there. A soft smile remained on Xiang Yu’s lips as he slipped back into a deeper slumber.
Han Xin’s heart raced, a steady rhythm disrupted by the closeness of the man in his arms. Unable to resist the urge, he reached out, his fingers brushing against Xiang Yu’s cheek. The touch was gentle, his thumb rubbing softly over the smooth skin. Xiang Yu’s cheek felt so delicate beneath his fingertips. He pinched it lightly, enjoying the softness, and then did it again.
Suddenly, Xiang Yu stirred, grumbling softly as he raised a hand to touch his cheek. "Baby, what are you doing?" he murmured in his sleep. Han Xin froze, tension gripping him like a vice. He didn’t dare move, afraid to wake him. Luckily, Xiang Yu seemed to fall back into a deeper sleep, his breathing evening out.
Han Xin let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding, his gaze remaining locked onto the man’s. The peaceful moment shattered when Han Xin suddenly heard frantic footsteps echoing down the hall. He shot up, heart racing, while Xiang Yu remained undisturbed, lost in his dreams.
Quickly, Han Xin threw on his clothes, the fabric rustling loudly in the stillness. As he dressed, he noticed Xiang Yu shuffling in his sleep, turning onto his stomach. Han Xin hurriedly pulled on his boots, as he turned to his AI assistant, Zeus. "Who is coming?" he whispered urgently.
"Sir, it’s His Majesty," Zeus replied without hesitation.
A curse slipped from Han Xin’s lips as he grabbed his belt and dashed into the bathroom. He shut the door behind him, the click of the latch echoing in the small space. He stepped into the shower and activated his invincibility mode, standing still, heart pounding in his chest.
Meanwhile, Xiang Yu remained blissfully unaware, nestled in the sheets. He stirred slightly when the door whooshed open and group of imposing figures entering the room. His father, the Imperial Lord, surveyed the scene, noticing his son alone in bed. With a subtle gesture, he directed his guards to check the bathroom.
Xiang Yu lazily pulled the covers over his head, peeking out just enough to see what the fuss was about. "Why all the fuss?" he mumbled, still half-asleep, not yet realizing it was his father who had entered.
The imperial guard returned, bowing slightly. "Your Majesty, there is no one," he reported.
Xiang Yu’s eyes widened as he finally registered his father’s presence. He sat up, feigning concern. "Father, is there an emergency?" he asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
The Imperial Lord pulled down his hooded cloak, revealing a stern expression. He picked up Xiang Yu’s shirt from the chair and tossed it at him. "Get dressed and come out," he commanded.
As his father left the room, accompanied by the guards, the door remained ajar. Xiang Yu quickly put on his shirt, glancing around the room. His heart sank when he noticed Han Xin’s clothes were gone. A sense of annoyance washed over him. This man had actually left him without saying a word? Who wouldn’t be infuriated?
He finished dressing and stomped into the bathroom, cursing under his breath. Anger bubbled within him as he splashed his face with cold water, trying to shake off the feeling of abandonment. He ran his wet fingers through his hair, attempting to make himself presentable.
After wiping his hands with a clean towel, Xiang Yu walked out, steeling himself for whatever awaited him. As he stepped into the room, Han Xin, hidden in the shower, felt a strange discomfort wash over him, an unexplainable sense that something was amiss.
Xiang Yu stepped into the outer room, finding his father seated in an armchair, his expression calm and leisurely, as if the commotion had never happened. The tension in the air was thick, and Xiang Yu couldn’t shake the feeling that he had been left behind, discarded without a second thought.
He was about to bow to his father but before he could lower his head, his father stood up and walked out of the room. Confused, Xiang Yu followed after him, the soft thud of his footsteps echoing in the quiet space. As soon as they stepped outside, a chill ran down his spine. He felt a strong sensation as if someone was watching them.
They approached a waiting hovercar, its sleek design glistening in the light. Xiang Yu entered just after his father, and the door was sealed shut behind them. Soon, a procession of six hovercars rolled into motion, the insignia on the vehicles imposing and regal.
The Imperial Lord finally broke the silence. "You spent the night with her. So where did she go?" His tone was calm, but the weight of the question hung heavily in the air.
Xiang Yu, buttoning the top button of his shirt to appear more presentable, froze for a moment. "I don’t know," he replied, his voice steady but with a hint of uncertainty.
