Xiang Yu, the twins and Yi Nuo strolled back to the inn after a delightful breakfast at a small roadside stall. He was tired and wanted to take a long nap before going out again. He told the twins not to make too much trouble before getting into his room. The twins knew that their master needed some rest. If he didn’t sleep, he would be grumpy the rest of the day.

Lian and Mei weren’t going to make too much trouble but they were still going to stir up some trouble. They turned their attention to Yi Nuo their smiles like two evil scientists looking at the perfect specimen. "Sister Nuo, come... come play with us," Lian said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Yes, sister Nuo, come play with us. We are very nice," chimed Mei her fingers itching to style the lieutenant’s hair.

His tummy growled angrily at him as if it hadn’t eaten anything for five days. As he sat up, he noticed the beautiful dress he bought today hanging on the folding screen. The twins had probably picked that out for him to wear.

They had picked the black and white gradient dress with a cross neck, high waist, and large sleeves. Xiang Yu quickly got up. He washed up and put on the dress in front of the bronze mirror. It looked amazing on him and he couldn’t help but admire how it accentuated his waist. "I look gorgeous but in the next world, let’s not do this again," he said to himself while tying up his hair in a messy bun.

Just as he was about to leave his room, the door was knocked before it burst open, and Lian and Mei rushed in. "Master, let us do your hair!" Mei exclaimed; her voice filled with excitement. They had been listening in waiting for their master to get up. They could be described as very clingy, but after all they had been through, who could blame them?

Xiang Yu chuckled while trying to get away from them. "Aren’t you tired from messing with Yi Nuo’s hair?" He knew them too well. They must have convinced Yi Nuo to be their guinea pig. Paired with their puffed-up cheeks and puppy dog eyes who could refuse such faces.

Lian shook her head, "No, we are not tired at all." They pulled Xiang Yu to a chair and began their work. Lian applied light makeup, enhancing his features with a gentle touch, while Mei styled his hair into a half-updo, securing it with delicate pins that dangled and shimmered with every movement.

They wanted their master to be the most beautiful in town. When he stepped out it should be like an immortal fairy had graced the world with his presence. They wanted to fan the flames and make the general fall in love with their master.

Then, when it was all over, he would truly find out who he fell in love with. Just this thought made them giggle while exchanging glances. Once done, they stepped back, admiring their handiwork with satisfied smiles.

"Get sister Nuo and let’s go eat. I am so hungry," he said and Lian dashed out while yelling, "Me too. My stomach is almost sticking to my back."

"But you are always hungry," yelled Mei while following after her. When they finally stepped out of the inn the streets of Fengmi town, it was even more bustling than in the morning.

The town was alive with the chatter of soldiers enjoying their day off. They moved from stall to stall, their laughter mingling with the enticing aromas of street food. Among the crowd, their four figures stood out, drawing every eye.

In the soldiers’ eyes, Princess Xiu looked resplendent in a black and white dress. As she walked, she moved with an effortless grace that left them mesmerized. They couldn’t believe she was the same princess who showed them flames in a dice game at the campsite last night.
