Vampire: World of Blood
Chapter 192 192: Crazy Clown + A Sexy Insane Bitch + The Literal Fucking Devil = Unimaginable Collateral Damage III

'Now, brother, send some solar energy my way... Oh, and how's the girl on your end?'

Abadis said as she began to speak to Albedo through her blood bond.

However, the answer she got, was surprising.

'Yeah, give me a moment... we are about to apprehend her, on that note though are you sure you can take on that guy by yourself, he seems pretty strong?'

When Abadis heard it, her eyes widened, and at that exact moment, her brother Albedo could see what she was seeing. His unique ichor gave him strange, almost instinctive powers that most energy users couldn't replicate.

He was able to do this by tuning into her aura, which let him sense her every move as if he were right there with her. The next thing Albedo said only made the moment more intense, if not harder for her to deal with.

'Go ahead, enlighten me, dear brother... Not going to lie, this guy feels way stronger than he lets on. I don't know why, but I get the sense that if I don't take him seriously from the start, he's going to kill me.'

As soon as Abadis voiced her worry, Albedo laughed, his tone light but with that dark, familiar twist.

Even in danger, their sibling banter had a strange comfort to it.

'Die'? Oh, that's rich, sister...

Albedo said, his voice, filled with confidence and pride.

But not pure arrogance, rather, he seems happy even that the enemy is behaving this way, as he continued.

'We both know... SHIIIITTT!!! Every vampire should know that taking down vampiric twins? It's no easy feat. The only way to truly do it is to kill us both at once. Anything less? Not gonna work… well, usually nothing but that work when it comes to dealing with vampiric twins as a whole.'

He said, a smirk in his voice.

'I get it. You're worried because you can feel what I feel, thanks to our connection. My passive senses are being reflected back to you, and your instincts are responding to that.'

Confirmed Albedo as he continued once more.

'But it's not like you're experiencing everything I am, you're just picking up on the echoes of it. So far, I haven't sensed anything off with him, except for that unsettling calm. No fear, just this pure and annoying arrogance… Hell, amusement, even.'

He finishes and adds.

'He's looking down on you, so let him. Arrogance is a trap we can use. You go on the attack; I'll guide you from here, and send support when you need it. Besides, vampires like us? We're at our absolute strongest when apart. Makes sense, given we're each other's only real weakness.'

Abadis nodded, glancing at her right hand, which served as a power source, a conduit that could absorb any energy or effect it came into contact with and convert it into pure energy. It only worked with things that had a physical presence, but that limitation didn't bother her.

"Alright, let's get this over with...

Abadis muttered before raising her left arm, taking aim at Ace.

"Sigh this is going to hurt like a mother fucker."

Abadis said to herself, as she prepared to attack.

Without another word, the creature-like tip of her arm began to glow, building up an intense charge of solar energy at an extremely rapid rate, too fast even to react.

It wasn't just a beam of light; it was a condensed blast, holding the power of several suns crammed into a single point at that moment as it took energy from the frozen core within the arm, that was connected to Albedo cells.

"NOW DIEE!!...

The temperature around her skyrocketed, snow instantly vaporizing into steam. An immense burst of energy erupted from her hand, tearing through the air like a searing laser aimed straight at Ace, who merely smiled in response.

"Now you're speaking my language! Come on, then... let's get this show on the road!"

As the blazing beam barreled toward him, it seemed unstoppable, until it wasn't. The laser suddenly split apart mid-air, as if sliced by an invisible blade, dispersing like water being severed by a razor.

Though the attack itself failed to reach him, the sunlight it carried still spilled across the field, touching his skin. The moment it did, Ace's smile twisted into a grimace. His flesh ignited almost instantly, blackening and charring as ash flaked away, carried off by the breeze.

Vampiric durability matters not before sunlight, as long as the level of light they are being exposed to is sufficient a vampire could indeed be killed.

Naturally, stronger vampires require a certain level of sunlight to exterminate.

Especially since the sunlight at this moment was magnified to such an extreme.

But it wasn't just Ace who suffered.

The intense light didn't discriminate.

Abadis felt her own skin crack and split, the flesh beneath searing as her eyes bubbled and began to liquefy. The bones of her face glistened through melting tissue. It was agony, raw and unfiltered, but she didn't falter.

"I fucking hate the sun...

But as she kept firing on, that was when it happened.

Ace began to retaliate.

[5th Slash: Course of Action]

A slice sound could be heard... a bright light silver came before her, a slash so profound it could not be dodged... nor could be questioned, everything that Ace did not tolerate was cut.

It wasn't just a beam of light; it was a condensed blast, holding the power of several suns crammed into a single point at that moment as it took energy from the frozen core within the arm, that was connected to Albedo cells.

"NOW DI...

Instead of unleashing the deadly blast, a sudden, sharp sound sliced through the air. Before she could react, a swift, silent strike landed, and a gush of blood erupted.

*SLAAAAAAASSSSSHHHHHHHHHH!!!..

"Ha...

Abadis gasped, eyes wide from the shock of sudden, searing pain. Blood splattered across her face from the gash in her arm, the crimson droplets sizzling away into thin air almost instantly, like they were boiling off into smoke.

Then she turned to look at her left side and froze.

Her entire arm was just... cut off clean, but that wasn't the only weird thing, her arm, didn't fall to the ground rather it was just gone.

Not severed and bleeding on the ground, not dissolved like a vampire's would if it wasn't reattached quickly.

It was just gone from the world itself like it never existed, almost as if the limb itself had been completely erased from reality.

There was no trace of it, just the raw, open wound at her shoulder, the only evidence it had ever existed at all was the very wound itself. Something had cut her so deeply it had sliced away the very presence of her arm from this world.

"What... ahRaaRRAA!?"

Abadis clutched at her arm, her body jerking violently as a wave of unnatural, bone-deep pain ripped through her. It was like a thousand white-hot needles boring into her nerves, growing more excruciating with every passing second. She let out a guttural, blood-curdling scream, a sound like nails scraping against metal, torn from the very depths of her lungs.

"Aaauuuuaaag....AAAHHHRRGH!!.....RGHAWAAAaaAAhghiiiiaa...

Her voice cracked, breaking into sobs of raw agony as she stumbled backward, nearly collapsing.

The blood gushed from the torn flesh, thick and dark, splattering onto the pure white snow beneath her feet. It seeped into the frost, staining it a deep crimson, the icy ground greedily drinking it in. But even as the blood soaked through, it began to hiss and evaporate, curling into wisps of steam that rose like smoke from a dying fire.

And so did the snow.

She fell to her knees, gripping the mangled wound as if she could hold herself together through sheer willpower, her screams turning into hoarse, ragged gasps, her vision blurring from the pain that refused to fade.

Ace watched her collapse to the ground, her screams tearing through the cold air, a haunting melody that seemed to hang there, sharp and raw.

His grin eternally fixed seemed more haunting at that moment, tilting his head he reached Abadis and crotch down as if he were savoring every last bit of her suffering.

Like a connoisseur enjoying a fine wine.

He then reached closer to her ear and whispered.

"Hurts, doesn't it? Hurts like hell, huh? 'Itttt hurts, it hurts, it hurts... Those are the only words running through your little head right now, aren't they? Hahaha... yeah, I figured."

He leaned in closer, his breath hot against her ear, his voice a sickly sweet whisper.

"It's okay, sweetheart. That's the thing about fear, isn't it? It's one of humanity's oldest, most primal fears, being cut. That burning sensation... it's not so fun, is it?"

He stood up straight, pacing around her like a predator circling its prey, eyes gleaming with manic delight.

"So, what's next, huh? You gonna attack me again? Think wisely, little girl. You don't want to feel that slice again, do you? Hahaha... No, no, no, don't be stupid."

He stopped in front of her, cocking his head as if considering her, sizing her up, a smile at the neck as if it had just come to an epiphany.

"Ohhh!!... I just realized you might just fit the role of a fine jester... you would totally rock the costume you know hehehehe...

Ace said and continued.

"Here's an idea... become one of my jesters, and I'll make all that pain go away. I can always use another jester in my circus, and you? You'd fit right in. That blue skin, those freakish little details... yeah, you're a natural, sweetheart. A freak, just like the rest of us."

He knelt down again, his grin widening, and he traced a finger lightly across her cheek.

"What do you say, huh? No more pain, just a life of laughter. All you gotta do is join the show... so you want to join the family?"

Ace asked Abadis, as he put a hand on his ears as if gesturing I can't hear you, going closer to her as if to say speak up now.

But the answer he got, was not what he expected.

"You want an answer, asshole?"

Abadis snapped, her voice dripping with venom.

"Then here's what I think... Mesopotamians...

The moment Ace heard that the mouth on his neck twisted in a confused frown. He blinked at her like she'd just spoken a foreign language, then shook his head, scoffing.

"A Meso what now?"

He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"That doesn't make any sense. And hey, I'm the clown here, not y... eghraAAarhaaAA!!... The hell is this...

Said Ace as he began to grab his head, feeling like it was about to split open. The pounding inside his skull grew louder, almost rhythmic, like a heartbeat gone wild. It wasn't just pain, it was pressure, and swelling, like his brain was about to burst.

Thick, dark blood started leaking from his eyes, running down his face in slow, sticky trails. His skin erupted in grotesque sores, each one bursting open with a wet pop. The flesh around them peeled back, flaking away as his body began falling apart right before his eyes.

He could feel his cells breaking down, dying faster than his body could heal them. His vision wavered, the world around him blurring, the colors bleeding into each other like a watercolor left out in the rain.

Then the heat hit, like a fire igniting in his guts.

It spread through his veins, burning him from the inside out. His skin felt like it was roasting, his muscles twitching and convulsing violently as if trying to tear themselves free from his bones.

Inside his skull, it felt like his brain was swelling, pushing against his skull until he thought it might just crack open.

For once, his healing factor couldn't keep up.

The damage was too fast, too brutal.

He could feel his strength slipping away, weakness flooding his body like ice in his veins. His legs gave out, sending him crashing to the ground, his entire body trembling uncontrollably as he struggled to move.

'The hell is this?!...

Ace said to himself... the pain making it hard for him to concentrate

On the other, hand Abadis got up, her mind connected to Albedo as she said.

'Oi... big bro, can you kill me please... nothing that I do is healing this bloody arm?...

Abdis asked Albedo... who responded as such.

"Yeah, sure...

At that moment, A burst of solar energy surged through Abadis, every one of her cells igniting with a sudden, unbearable heat. For the briefest second, her body seized up, eyes widening in shock and agony before she disintegrated into a cloud of fine ash.

The ash hung there for a fleeting moment, shimmering in the air, before vanishing completely, as if she had never existed.

It should have been a clean death, a swift end, but instead, but instead, the space around her warped, and without warning, her body reappeared. It was as if the universe itself had spat her back out.

In her own domain, Abadis was something beyond mortal, true death was simply impossible for her here. Unlike the limits she imposed when reviving others, her own resurrection was instantaneous and without limit.

To kill her for good, you'd need to destroy more than just her body. You'd have to obliterate her and every single one of her planets, and even that wouldn't be enough. Albedo, her other half, would need to die too.

Their ultimate vulnerability lies in a rare moment: when she uses world break, merging all of her worlds into a single super-world, folding entire solar systems and galaxies her higher intelligent life forms conquered into her reality like layers of fabric.

Only then, in that fleeting moment when both Abadis and Albedo are exposed, could they truly be destroyed. It would take a cataclysmic force capable of annihilating everything they've fused into one, every star, every planet, every piece of the cosmos bound together in that colossal domain.

Nevertheless, she stood once more, her missing arm that refused to heal prior was now back, as she walked over to Ace, and then she looked up and said.

"Send it over boys."

As soon as she finished speaking, a blinding light streaked down from the sky, cutting across hundreds of thousands of light-years from a distant galaxy. The package had arrived, a special delivery straight from the mothership of one of Abadis' most advanced alien races, the Qyzran. These beings were masters of quantum engineering, their technology light-years beyond anything humans of today were capable of at least normal humans that is.

Abadis actualizes the weapon from the package and teleports it directly into her hand.

Abadis held a compact, sleek device, no larger than her palm but unmistakably alien in its design. The silver surface shimmered with an iridescent glow, displaying a matrix of intricate, fluid patterns that seemed to respond to her touch, shifting and rearranging like living circuitry.

The barrel, stubby yet broad, housed a core that emitted a soft, oscillating blue light. This wasn't some ordinary weapon, it was a Qyzran Stasis Blaster, an apex of quantum stasis technology developed by one of the most advanced alien species in their universal region.

The pistol operated on an exotic principle of atomic stasis. Upon activation, the core emitted a field of hyper-cooled photons, designed to penetrate and permeate the target's atomic lattice. Once struck, every atom in the subject's body was instantly locked into a state of absolute zero kinetic motion, effectively freezing its quantum wave functions.

It was a weapon that didn't just immobilize the target; it put every atom, every particle, into a perpetual state of stasis, halting all molecular and subatomic activity.

In scientific terms, the Qyzran Blaster disrupted the very principles of thermodynamic entropy, creating a localized time-suspension zone where even quantum fluctuations ceased. It was a tool of ultimate control, a device that could effectively suspend the target outside the normal flow of spacetime, rendering them a fixed point, a permanent, unchanging object in a universe of constant motion.

The main drawback, however, was the charge time, it needed a few seconds to power up. Considering how fast vampires can move and the limited range of the weapon, landing a shot was nearly impossible. Despite its impressive speed of 23,000 mph, it could only travel up to a hundred times that distance, making it tricky to target something as quick and evasive as a vampire.

"Dr. Zeno's teachings weren't in vain. By combining the Loviatar clan's traits to create viruses, my own ichor, his technology, and a bit of my father's knowledge, I was able to create an alien species as small as a virus. It can do a lot from within. Your ichor is as good as useless now... especially since this virus targets it directly. Still, I'll give you credit, you're holding up well... but these little fuckers get stronger the more colder the surroundings are... that's why I brought you here."

Abadis said to herself as she began to take aim, preparing to fire.

She was eager to end this battle; her specialty was striking fast and going straight for the kill. As soon as this shot landed, she would send his body straight into the hottest ultra-star she knew of, making sure there would be no trace left behind.

But, despite his ichor being shot off... at that moment, once more it happened.

"You want an answer, asshole?"

Abadis snapped, her voice dripping with venom.

"Then here's what I think... Mesopotamians...

...

...

...

Abadis waited for the expected reaction, but it never came. She could still sense the virus inside him, but it seemed completely ineffective as if it hadn't touched him at all.

Staring at Ace in shock, her voice faltered.

"...Wha... what... how did you...?"

Ace simply smiled, tapping his finger to his lips, and replied.

"Shhhhh!!!... It's over now, darling... you gave me your answer... so here's MY reply!"...

Ace said and continued.

"THIRD SLASH... SEA OF RAZORS!"

Before Abadis could even react, the air around her seemed to shudder, as if reality itself was being sliced apart. It happened in a heartbeat, her body exploded into a gruesome spray of blood, her form torn to pieces by unseen blades.

Naturally, her body was the first to feel the full weight of this destruction. Her torso split down the middle, her blood spraying out in every direction as her insides were torn apart. Her eyes went first, popping like overripe fruit, followed by the rest of her face, her neck, and her entire body.

There was nothing left of her but mangled remnants of flesh and bone, scattered in the wind. The ground beneath her was soaked, stained with the mess of her blood and organ bits.

The flesh on multiple parts of her body was ripped away in jagged chunks, each cut deep and violent as if the skin had been shredded by thousands of razor-sharp knives. Her limbs were severed without mercy, her body splitting open like tissue paper, muscle and bone exposed in horrific flashes before being obliterated entirely.

The mountains behind her within Ace's line of sight weren't spared either.

The ground buckled and cracked, rocks and boulders slicing apart as if they were made of nothing but paper.

Giant chunks of stone were ripped away, some as large as buildings, others as small as pebbles, all beings, and objects were being sliced apart, the blades themselves seemed to ignore durability completely, or maybe they were just so sharp, the surrounding durability was nothing.

The jagged lines of destruction seemed random, with no pattern to the chaos, one moment the landscape was whole, and the next it was nothing but shattered remains, torn apart by invisible blades.

Above, the sky itself was torn to shreds. Rips appeared in the air as if the very atmosphere was being carved up. These slashes were thin, like deep cuts in a canvas.

The air itself seemed to fracture, and everything within the path of those slashes, rocks, soil, even the breeze was instantly sliced away.

And soon silence fills the air.

Ace looked at the destruction around him, as he laughed and said.

"Ohohohooo... like ribbons on a present, what a beautiful sight indeed."

Ace felt his lungs seize up, the wetness wasn't just on his skin, it was inside him. His mouth gaped open instinctively for air, but all he got was freezing water, flooding into his throat and sinking deep into his chest. Panic surged through him as he realized he had been teleported into the crushing depths of some ocean-like world.

The pressure was overwhelming.

".... GWRRRHhhhHHh... DWE hEWlll... ES DIS!!!...

Ace said as he began to choke on the ocean water.

The pressure was unbearable, if he was a human the feeling would be akin to being crushed by a large amount of steel bars slamming down on his ribs, threatening to snap them like twigs.

He tried to move, but every limb felt like it was encased in concrete, the water crushing him from all sides. He coughed or tried to, but all that came out were desperate bubbles and the taste of salt and blood.

His lungs burned, filling with icy liquid as he struggled for any trace of oxygen.

He didn't need such things to survive, but the pain was there, and horrific, whatever this water wasn't normal.

His vision darkened, punctuated only by the distant pink glow of Abadis's eyes cutting through the deep abyss.

The light was almost mocking, watching him drown as if she were savoring his helplessness. He could barely make out her silhouette, but her voice still came through, echoing in his mind like a whisper carried on the current.

"I'm not sure if you're actually invulnerable, or if your ichor is blocking attacks somehow, maybe the damage just can't reach you on a deeper, conceptual level... ugh, who knows? It doesn't really matter, does it? I've got plenty of ways to kill you, and one of them is bound to work. Let's see how you handle this, big boy. Death by mucus bear isn't pleasant, you know. The deeper you sink into its ocean-like body, the more it drowns and compresses you into a tight ball, slowly corroding you into nothing. That's how it protects itself from intruders, the pressure multiplies tenfold for every meter you sink. Some things in here have even been crushed into a singularity from the sheer force of its grip."

He felt the cold grip of unconsciousness tugging at him, the crushing blackness closing in as his last desperate thought slipped away.

'How is she still kicking? That third slash was supposed to deny regeneration! That kind of damage should've left her a smear on the floor, dead, gonzo... Not strutting around like it's just a paper cut!'

'How annoying, but I get it now, the snag here is as clear as day! She's got a whole toolbox of ways to kill me, while I'm stuck with these subjective little tricks, sigh!!!... I am not going to lie, twins are a pain to deal with.'

Ace said, clearly pissed off about the situation at the moment, as he began to consider his actions as he said to himself.

'Ah, to hell with this... she's a bigger pain than I signed up for. Alright, let's do it my way. I'm gonna slice through this whole mess, right down the middle! One clean cut that rips apart the moment I got tangled up with these twins, erase it like it never happened. A slash that shreds reality itself, takes what exists right now and stitches it back together like a patchwork quilt, back to the way things were before I even set foot here. One swing to destroy the now, and rebuild the then. Goodbye, twins... this little act's getting rewritten!'

With that said Ace began to rewrite the world in his favour once more. A power so powerful, to this day, he has yet to meet his match.

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

That would have been the case... if reality wasn't so disappointing.

Mildred stared in shock at Merciless, unable to comprehend what had just happened. It was all too fast, too sudden.

She hadn't realized it until it was too late. Neither she nor Ace had a chance to react. Merciless had teleported behind Ace, his hand touching the back of his head before Ace could even register it. His swords, which would normally have defended him passively, were completely ignored.

The reason was simple: before his swords could even make a move, Merciless had already used Ophelia's power to conceal his presence and slip through unnoticed.

And then, in that instant, the game was over.

Mildred looked on in horror, her eyes wide as she realized the extent of what Merciless had just done. Abadis' world break still surrounded Lia, a protective shield in place, but Merciless moved so quickly that even the higher vampires couldn't detect him.

Using Anastasia's teleportation power, he had appeared at the perfect moment. Then, blending Ophelia's power with his own, he struck.

In that instant, Merciless was holding Ace by the head and started absorbing his memories into himself, while activating his new power.

As such in that moment, Merciless knew he could defeat Ace.

He understood Ace's weaknesses, not just from observation, but from understanding the immutable truth that was his life combined with his eyes and ichor to help him out. With this knowledge, he quickly formulated a strategy and took the victory in an entirely different way.

Given the fact that if he didn't do that, he would have lost this fight, as his powers are so unfair, and a pain to deal with.

Merciless, now tapping into the blessings Æthelthryth had given him when he became her Arbiter.

As a result Ace was immobile, defenseless, his body caught in a vice-like hold.

"This is one nasty power alright!"

He said as he began to recall what it does in his mind.

'I will call this blessing Living Lie, a power that lets me take my own memories, and everyone else's, and break them down to their most basic form. Scenarios, possibilities, outcomes. I mix them all together, blend them into something new, and create false realities that are so perfect, once you're in them, you can't tell the difference, It's like a simulation of reality.'

'I use my memories... and the memories I've stolen from others, even the world around me, to build these lies. And the wildest part? It adapts. The illusion traps the person inside their own mind, creating a barrier based on their version of reality. As long as it stays true to their origin, and doesn't slip into complete nonsense, they'll stay in it, completely unaware. It activates the moment I touch someone. I flood them with my memories, along with everything I've gathered, to craft a false reality. It doesn't erase what they remember, it just twists it, shaping a world around them, using their own truths to bind them in.'

'For someone like Ace, the moment I saw him, and saw what he truly is and what he could do, I wasted no time in dealing with him, if I wanted to win, I needed him out of the picture first, as such the moment I touched him, his memories just poured into me. Now? He's stuck in a world that's nothing but lies. And he won't even know it until it's too late.'

On the other hand, Mildred looked at Merciless and Ace and said.

"Oiii... Acey baby... you there... Acey...

On the other hand, Merciless simply looked at her with an uncaring expression. His response to her desperate calls was cold, and without wasting any time, he said to her.

"Your boyfriend is gone, woman...

Merciless said Mildred.

Who had a face of disbelief clearly not accepting the situation.

But Merciless continued to speak nonetheless.

"To be honest, I could have really used someone with abilities like his... it'd be a waste not to. Besides, he's not just a regular vampire, he's a devil who was turned into one. His slicing power? That's his Atman, representing the fear of blades, the fear of being cut. What's even more fascinating is that he uses his own ichor to channel that Atman. It's truly a remarkable specimen. Combining the power of Atman with vampiric ichor... you're bound to get an anomaly of sorts."

Though, I've been seeing a lot of superhumans lately, and you're the second one. Oh well... it doesn't matter. I'll make sure to use all of you properly later when I have the means and power to tame you all."

When Mildred heard this, she got pissed off and started pointing at Merciless, as she said, and order.

"Listen here, ya big lug! I don't know who the hell you think you are, but you better release my darling RIGHT NOW! Or I swear.... agh that it, get him boys... bring me his head, AND YOU BETTER DO IT WITH EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT, OR ELSE!"

She commanded, and her corpse doll responded instantly. But Merciless only uttered three words in response:

"Order: Command: Stop!!"

The moment the words left his mouth, everything around them came to a complete halt. Even the devious wind that had been howling came to a sudden stop as if the very air obeyed his words.

"…MMMMMMM..."

Mildred's mouth snapped shut, her words silenced by his power. Only a hum escaped her, powerless to speak. Meanwhile, Merciless raised his hands, his gaze focused as he began to speak again.

"I suppose it's time to test this out... my ability of Pride. It seems my desire has finally taken shape, a power that can help me defeat even the gods."

Merciless spoke the words with calm precision, and then, with a simple hand raise, claws extended, something strange began to happen.

Blood started to seep out of his pores, gathering at the tip of his finger, forming a crystal-like shape until it froze into a small, glowing red crystal.

His eyes locked onto Ace still clutched tightly in his grasp, and the rest of the scene around him. As the crystal pulsed, a dark red vortex appeared, pulling everything into it.

Ace, Mildred, and everything in between, sucking them in like they were nothing more than dust caught in a storm.

In an instant, the battlefield was empty, with the exception of Merciless himself.

The power he'd unleashed, his "Pride" ability was something terrifying.

It gave him the power to let him lock the status of anything in his external surroundings, locking their existence in place. He could even make things, of his choice and luck their status to that thing.

As such with this blood-red crystal, he had trapped their very essence, sealing them inside.

It was like time itself had stopped for them, locked in that moment, unable to move or change. But there was a catch.

This ability only works on things outside his body, and it can only work on things he understands to a great extent.

But as long as it is objects and people, or maybe even external wounds, or any attack that can be considered or accepted as external damage on himself, he could use his Pride ability to lock that status.

So if he combines this with his eyes, he can become a truly formidable foe.

With his memories and his new eyes, he could understand the situation fully. The more he understood, the more effective his power became. No matter the difference in strength or level, with Pride, he could lock the status of anything around him. This made it an incredibly versatile ability in battle, one that could cause immense damage when used strategically.

On the other hand, Merciless looked down on the reality sphere where Lia remained, and he floated back towards it.

At that very moment, an immense pressure weighed down on him, sending a chill through his body. His hair stood on end as a dreadful feeling overtook him.

But he pressed on.

"The hell...?"

He muttered, turning his gaze westward, where the familiar aura was coming from.

"This demonic aura... I know he was strong; but isn't this a bit too much...

...

"...He got caught up in that woman's imaginary space ha, huh? Heh, that's pretty nasty... Can't say I'm surprised though... this bloody exam is filled to the fucking brim with Azamite vampires."

A man with long straight white hair said, another man, ball headed also spoke beside him.

"Tsk... tell about it, I have killed at least 3 Azamite vampires already."

"Only 3 dude? Pffftt I've already murdered over 29 people... although this fairy-like form does limit me a bit, and with my regulator horns gone thanks to that fucking slime... I'm weaker than I'd like to admit."

Albedo floated beside Alucard, casting a sideways glance. Without much interest, Alucard gave him a quick look and responded dryly:

"Hmph. There are far greater things to worry about here than petty insults and points, you know."

He dismissed Albedo's attempt at a provocation. Jordan, however, let out a sly laugh and remarked.

"Fufufu... If everyone had your attitude, Alucard, this world would be unbearably boring. The way you shrug off insults is a talent. I'd never manage it."

Albedo shrugs to himself and is fed up, clearly unimpressed, and shots back.

"Oh please, Jordan. You're the biggest instigator out of all of us."

Jordan simply grinned, raising his hands in mock innocence as he replied.

"Me? An instigator? Noooo... Nooooo... I would never... I just give a little nudge here and there. People hurt each other all on their own. I only offer... suggestions."

At these words, Albedo comments back.

"BULLSHIT! Absolute bullshit! Ugh... whatever... sigh...

He said, then continued as he change the subject.

"Merciless' aura is damn tricky to find, especially since it was spread out everywhere just a moment ago... but there's no kind of energy I can't track, even if it's scattered like that. He's trapped inside that Azamite's domain... weird if I do say so myself... I got to admit hough, as part Azamite myself, I have never seen an external domain like this before."

Albedo's words made Jordan glance over at the Azamite domain. From a distance, it seemed like nothing more than regular terrain, nothing special at all. But as he stepped closer, he could feel it.

The overwhelming presence of multiple high and elder vampires within this place.

Jordan's lips curled into a grin, as he began to speak.

"Well, well, isn't this a surprise… fufufu... I've been meaning to refill the soul vault anyway. So, what do you all say? How about we crash this little get-together of theirs and make it a night to remember?"
