For a moment, the father-in-law and son-in-law sat in silence, neither speaking a word.

It was unclear how much time had passed when Yun'er slowly descended the stairs. Ye Fei and the other person quickly stood up and asked in unison, "How is she?"

"My mom has been the same. She didn't react to anything I said, and she won't speak a word," Yun'er shook her head and sighed softly. This was far from a good sign. Liu Tianlin couldn't sit still any longer. As he headed upstairs, he said, "You two go rest. I'll check on Aya."

"It's okay, it's not your fault." Yun'er's face was pale as she spoke and gently pulled away from Ye Fei's hug. Her reaction wasn't because she blamed Ye Fei, but because she felt extremely awkward.
