Chapter 77: Chapter 77: Showdown, I am the Peerless Master_1
"Brother Bao!"
As the voice fell, a burly man with a back like a tiger and a waist like a bear got out of the Highlander’s passenger seat.
He shouldered a machete and chewed gum leisurely as he walked over.
When he reached Mo Han, he said indifferently, "Kid, let Ah She go, or else I’ll chop you into pieces and feed you to dogs!"
Seeing Brother Bao appear, Nie She immediately gained confidence and started to taunt as well, "You trash, did you hear that? Release me now, or Brother Bao will kill your whole family!"
"Hmm?"
Mo Han looked at Nie She coldly, and with a sudden flick of his right hand, a double-headed snake-patterned dagger instantly pierced the other’s throat.
"You..." Nie She covered his throat in disbelief. He wanted to say more, but as blood gushed from his throat and he struggled for a few seconds, his head tilted, and he fell down.
He never expected that Mo Han would dare to kill him in front of Brother Bao, and do so with such decisiveness.
"And you think you can threaten me with your rubbish?"
Mo Han spoke indifferently, giving Nie Bao a meaningful smile, as if to say, you’re next!
In the past, Nie Bao would have struck with his blade immediately, but this time, he was silent.
The way Mo Han stabbed Nie She was incredibly fast, so fast that even he could only vaguely see an afterimage.
This guy is not simple at all!
Nie She lay on the ground, trembling with his hands on his throat, still looking at Mo Han with eyes full of resentment.
Until his death, he couldn’t understand how this Mo Han, who was nothing but a good-for-nothing son-in-law, had suddenly become a martial arts expert.
"Huff, puff!" Nie She breathed with his last bit of strength, but still couldn’t hold off the arrival of the Grim Reaper. With only two breaths, his body convulsed forcefully, and he fell into eternal sleep.
"Dammit! I’m going to kill you!"
Seeing his fourth brother die before his eyes, Nie Hu exploded. He roared and swung his machete viciously at Mo Han.
In a rage, Nie Hu’s fighting power grew exponentially.
The blade came down with a whooshing sound, as if it could split heaven and earth asunder.
Mo Han instinctively raised his dagger to block.
"Bang!"
The blades clashed.
Mo Han felt a numbness in the web of his hand, and he could barely hold onto the dagger.
Since inhering the legacy of Purple Cloud the Immortal, he had not had the chance to compete with a martial arts expert. Now that he had finally encountered one, the fighting spirit in his eyes grew increasingly intense.
"Bring it on!"
Mo Han shouted, gripping his dagger as he stepped forward to block.
Bang, bang, bang!
Their weapons clashed repeatedly, back and forth more than a dozen times.
With a crack, the dagger in Mo Han’s hand split in two.
"Hahaha!" Nie Hu laughed, "You want to compete with me in blade skills? Do you think you can win?"
Looking at the broken half of the dagger, Mo Han shook his head, tossed it aside, and glanced at the ground. He casually picked up a brick and said nonchalantly, "I originally planned to fight you in the way of ordinary people. I didn’t expect this kind of outcome. Forget it, I’m done pretending!"
"Just so you know, I am an extraordinary expert!"
As his voice fell, a wisp of Purple Cloud True Qi as thin as smoke quickly wrapped around his arm, and then around the brick as well.
"Delusions of grandeur!" Nie Bao snorted through his nose, dismissively saying, "You think you’re a supreme expert with a brick? Who do you think you are? With that kind of trash, I can chop you up in minutes!"
As he spoke, he swung his machete in a side-chop.
He believed that Mo Han, with only a brick in hand, couldn’t possibly block his knife technique.
Mo Han couldn’t be bothered to spar with him. He shrugged his shoulders to dodge Nie Hu’s long blade, then immediately raised the brick and smashed it down hard on Nie Hu’s right hand.
"Bang!"
Nie Hu’s hand bones burst, and the long blade fell from his grip, his wrist snapped at a gruesome ninety-degree angle.
"Impossible!"
Nie Hu backed away clutching his wrist, his face full of shock. Just a moment ago, he was evenly matched with his opponent, but in the blink of an eye, he was completely at a disadvantage.
It was hard to believe that just before, Mo Han had a dagger, and now he was only armed with a brick.
"Curious?" Mo Han approached slowly, shrugging, "I said I was an extraordinary expert and you didn’t believe me. Now, do you regret it?"
"Dammit!"
Nie Hu growled low and when Mo Han was only two steps away, he reached behind his back and pulled out a dark object, pointing the black muzzle at Mo Han, "I admit I underestimated you before. You’re no ordinary man! However..."
His tone shifted, saying coldly, "No matter how strong you are, what does it matter in the age of firearms? No matter how powerful your martial arts are, can you catch a bullet with your bare hands?"
"I can!" Mo Han smiled slightly, his face full of confidence.
Damn, I’ve seen show-offs, but none as shameless as this! You think you’re some kind of superhero to catch bullets with your bare hands?
"Idiot!" Nie Hu scoffed, and without hesitation, pulled the trigger.
In an instant, a bullet surrounded by flames shot out of the barrel, aiming straight for Mo Han’s head.
Just then, Mo Han calmly raised his left hand, his two fingers parted, and a bullet snugly lodged between them.
Boom!
Nie Hu fell apart!
His opponent really could catch bullets with his bare hands!!!
