Chapter 305: Open Principal’s Office 305_1
Gu Yansi gave Lu Qingyi a meaningful look.
A soft smile curled on the corner of Xu Boyan’s lips, indeed kids are so adorable.
"Why don’t you go check it out, sis? What if the principal has urgent matters for you?"
Lu Jiahao lightly bit his lip as he suggested.
"He’s not in his office."
Lu Qingyi casually responded.
Lun Boyan’s real office wasn’t there; that place was only used for ordinary administrative work.
With the basketball court more than five hundred meters away, the noise was certainly deafening. Would Lun Boyan, who loved his peace and quiet, choose such a place for his office?
The answer was obviously no.
"Ah, sis, how do you know that?"
Lu Jiahao was totally bewildered.
Gu Yansi looked at Lu Qingyi weirdly, but he kept his silence.
Lu Qingyi: "I guessed."
Holding onto Xu Boyan’s hand, Lu Qingyi gestured towards the front, "Let’s go."
She gestured for Lu Jiahao to follow.
"All right." Lu Jiahao trotted along, pulling Gu Yansi with him.
"Bro, my sis is amazing."
Lu Jiahao signaled a thumbs-up towards Lu Qingyi’s retreating figure, an expression of pride on his face.
Lu Qingyi was truly exceptional.
When speaking to Gu Yansi, Lu Jiahao’s pet name for him was given willingly. Gu Yansi was better than him in many aspects. Their personalities also meshed well, and there was the matter of blood relations too.
"I know she’s wonderful."
Gu Yansi nodded in agreement. Of course, he knew how remarkable Lu Qingyi was. His ability to study medicine at Hardwick Academy was all thanks to Lu Qingyi.
Indeed, the door of the principal’s office was locked firmly. Lun Boyan was not in there.
Lu Jiahao: "Sis, your guess was spot on."
"How are the studies coming along?"
Lu Qingyi suddenly turned her head towards Gu Yansi, asking about his progress.
She knew that Gu Yansi came over every Sunday, but she had no idea about the state of his studies.
It probably wasn’t too bad.
Gu Yansi’s response came off rather cold: "I’m getting the hang of it."
"Keep at it. Let me get you some resources."
Lu Qingyi nodded, pulling a key out from a flower bed, and with ease, she unlocked the principal’s office.
Xu Boyan: "..."
Lu Jiahao: "..."
Gu Yansi: "..."
Could it be possible that Lu Qingyi even knew where the key was?
After unlocking the door, Lu Qingyi placed the key back, a light smile curling on her lips.
In reality, she preferred picking locks with a wire but since Xu Boyan was present, she wanted to leave him with a good impression.
A girl who can pick locks doesn’t sound too good, after all.
"Sis, you knew where the key was?"
Lu Jiahao looked at Lu Qingyi, somewhat skeptical and amazed.
Most documents in the principal’s office were confidential. It was astonishing that Lu Qingyi knew where the key to the office was.
Was it possible that Lun Boyan was not cautious around Lu Qingyi at all?
If Lun Boyan were there, he certainly would have replied: do you think a key can stop Lu Qingyi?
Of course not, Lu Qingyi knew how to pick locks! She knew how to pick locks!!!
Everything could be guarded against, except for Lu Qingyi.
Of course, there was no need to guard against Lu Qingyi because she had no interest in his things. You could even say she disdained them.
Lu Qingyi arched a brow, "Surprising?"
She walked in as if she was on familiar grounds, like she had been there a lot.
Gu Yansi took a deep breath, his curiosity about Lu Qingyi growing even more.
Lu Jiahao followed closely, taking cautious steps.
Xu Boyan leaned against the door, glancing at his phone, rapidly typing something on his keyboard. He refrained from entering.
"Sis, you..." Lu Jiahao walked in to see Lu Qingyi opening the drawers. Blinking in disbelief, he stared at Lu Qingyi.
Really? Not just stepping in, but also rummaging through the drawers?
Even though Lu Qingyi was the renowned professor Lu of Hardwick Academy, it still seemed somewhat improper, right?
Gu Yansi: "..."
He was silent, watching Lu Qingyi’s actions.
Xu Boyan was completely absorbed in his phone, seemingly oblivious to everything around him.
"Take this document. Read and memorize it as much as possible. It’ll be helpful."
Lu Qingyi swiftly pulled out a document from the drawer and handed it nonchalantly to Gu Yansi.
It felt as if she was digging through her own things and gave something to someone else. There wasn’t even a hint of guilt that usually accompanies taking someone else’s things.
Gu Yansi: "..."
He stared silently at Lu Qingyi’s hand, unsure of whether to take it or not. He was torn.
Lu Qingyi raised an eyebrow, "Afraid to take it?"
It made sense; this wasn’t her office, she wasn’t Lun Boyan; the document wasn’t hers either. Gu Yansi’s hesitation was understandable.
"I’ll take it."
Gu Yansi graciously accepted the document from Lu Qingyi.
If she dared to give it to him, there was no reason not to accept it.
"Relax, it’s yours once I give it to you. The old man won’t come looking for it. If he happens to do so, you can direct him to me."
With not a shred of fear of Lun Boyan on her face, Lu Qingyi reassured.
Gu Yansi: "..."
Lu Jiahao: "..."
She had a severe case of arrogance.
Listening to Lu Qingyi’s words, Xu Boyan curled his lips into a faint smile, still amused.
Nothing could beat the charm of children.
A girl clutching her textbook walked past the principal’s office. She turned her gaze towards the widely opened office door, the man leaning by the door, and the vague presence of people inside. She froze.
Lun Boyan was clearly not at school, but how could there be people inside? Why was the door open?
It really was bewildering.
She maintained a proper smile as she approached Xu Boyan, "I’m looking for the principal." She stated in a soft voice, only to find an elegant girl sitting on Lun Boyan’s usual seat, legs crossed casually.
There were two boys as well. One passionately occupied with something and the other engrossed in a document.
Lu Jiahao and Gu Yansi.
The girl’s mind went blank. Lu Jiahao was quite popular in school hence she knew him. Because of Lu Jiahao, she knew of his brother too.
