Lu Qingyi walked into her room, but she couldn’t fall asleep. She sat on her bed with her legs crossed and started playing on her laptop, opening the game, Happy Match.

She felt frustrated right now.

"Hey, Qingyi, did you meet the boss, Falcon? Did you destroy the building? Just the one building? That isn’t your style, so what’s your game this time?"

Her phone began to vibrate, Li Xiyi was calling. Qingyi picked up, and Li Xiyi started to chatter on.

"Maybe I’m not meant to have happiness."

Qingyi gently closed her eyes and hung up the phone. She felt extremely upset.

Even back when she thought Yao Meishu and Lu Yao were her biological parents, their ridicule and scorn did not hurt as bad.

Inside the thermo pot, there was still some preserved egg and lean meat porridge, still warm.

Lu Qingyi now didn’t know how to disclose her identity to Xu Boyan. Perhaps she was afraid of being hurt; she dared not say it.
