Chapter 69: Ch.69 Stella Vs The Fallen(2)

The fallen, now stronger than ever, coated his entire body in the fist intent of corrupting life, an eerie glow spread from his body as even the air near his started to distort and deform.

Stella’s sword intent on the starry sky also erupted as it covered her entire body. A phenomenon of the starry sky appeared behind her, and her wings looked like fragments of the sky.

Both of their figure disappeared as clashing sounds were heard. Stella’s sword was blocked by the fallen’s fist as his tail acted like a spear aimed at Stella.

With her quick reflex, she grabbed the tail with her free hand and, with a tight squeeze, she crushed it. Black blood and pieces of flesh splattered on her hand.

The first intent of corrupting life like maggots finding meat started to devour Stella’s sword intent, they tore through it as this intent made contact with her flesh.

Her hand started to rot and decay as the energy of corruption quickly spread, her eyes narrowed as she concentrated her energy.

Due to being in the Star of purification state, this corruption was quickly cleansed, and with the help of the immortal star, her wounds healed in an instant.

Her wings flapped as she quickly backed down, swinging her sword as the fist intent that was trying to corrupt it was thrown away.

The fallen didn’t miss this opportunity as he changed her like a mad dog; she continued to back down as her eyes turned toward his tail, which had healed.

She destroyed every floating eye next to her so that the fallen wouldn’t teleport near her. Even so, using the nearby eyes, the fallen was still quickly gaining on her.

Looking at his body now fully covered in the fist intent of corrupting death, her eyes narrowed as she understood that she couldn’t let him hit her.

"Hoo"

Taking a deep breath, she concentrated her energy in her wings as their size started to grow. After a while, it seemed to blend with the starry sky behind her.

Just as the fallen was about to appear in front of her, she disappeared. Blood splattered as the upper half of the fallen’s body was separated.

The fallen looked at his separated body in surprise as he looked at a distance behind him. Stella stood there with her sword covered in the upper layer of the fist intent of corrupting death and his blood.

He was about to snap his finger, but before he could do so, his hands were separated from his body. Stella, behind him, had disappeared at some point and had appeared a distance ahead of him.

Drops of sweat were dripping down her face before swiftly evaporating as her breathing had become a little rapid. All the metal pieces in her body had turned into molten metal.

Even the pendant that Neo had given her was only holding its shape due to her using her energy.

Her skin had become a little red, as one could smell a burnt smell of the flesh. The heat radiating from her body was so much that even the surroundings started to heat up.

The sword intent that covered her body had disappeared and was now concentrated only on her sword.

Even the energy in her body, except for the small amount that is used to hold the shape of her armor and sword, was all being used on her wings.

She had given up on defense and was fully focused on speed and power. Thus her speed had reached an unknown high as it surpassed even the speed of light by several times.

If not for her ability to see into the future, she may not even have been able to properly guide her body at such speed.

But such a speed came at a cost, as her body was in a constant state of being burned and healed. Even the sweat that formed wasn’t normal sweat.

"Fast."

The fallen muttered as he vomited blood, his left upper half of the body was separated, and his right hand was severed.

There is no way for him to snap his finger...

His tail suddenly started to deform as it took the shape of a hand, Stella moved as her figure disappeared.

But it was a little late, as the snap was heard, his lower half, along with the tail, was also separated, but the damage was already done.

Tentacles and eyes started to grow from his cut part as his body once again reached peak condition.

More of Stella’s physical strength was consumed, and she looked at the fallen with grave eyes. Her energy started to spike as it was rapidly consumed.

The quality of her sword intent and wings increased to the extreme, as even her hands were slowly being destroyed by her own sword intent.

"Illusory Star- 9 Million Slashes"

She softly muttered as her figure appeared right in front of the fallen, staring at him with cold eyes. Her skin was burnt and blackened before it swiftly healed as the heat released from her body started to melt the space near her.

The fallen started at Stella as he was about to move, but found out that he wasn’t able to do so. A little confused, he wanted to look down, only for his vision to fragment.

Atom-sized slashes appeared on his body as his body was sliced into millions of pieces, most small as a grain of sand, but some big as his lips.

But all these fragments started to ignite due to the heat of the sword slashes.

Not a single blood was splattered, as even that was burnt away. His eyes, now separated into pieces, stared at Stella.

"Battle finished."

Stella muttered as he released a deep breath, her buff state slowly disappeared as she returned back to her normal form.

She held her armor and sword together with her remaining energy as her wings behind her back slowly disappeared.

She had already reached the ascension rank, so she didn’t need them to fly, although the buff they provided in battle is good, out of battle, they are just a source of energy consumption.

"I should report to my dearest lord."

She softly muttered as she looked at the mouth of the fallen that still remained and was slowly being burned away.

"Sin Judge- Judgment Field."

The mouth moved as such words without sound were formed, the judgment field was quickly released as it covered the mouth and Stella.

"Ahh!"

Stella screamed in pain as various negative statuses started to affect her; her body slowly corroded and started to deform.

The immortal star started to work as her wounds were starting to heal, but new wounds continued to appear.

"Puw!"

She vomited blood as a hand pierced through her stomach, She looked at the figure of the fallen that had appeared with disbelieving eyes.

Seeing this look the fallen smiled as he slowly rotated his hands in her stomach.

"Surprised how I am still alive?"

"Well then, let me, as the villain, explain."

"You see, as a fallen, I am an existence without a soul, so my consciousness is trapped in my flesh."

"So as long as a piece of my flesh remains, I can’t be called dead."

Stella listened to his words as her sword tried to sever his hands, but wasn’t able to do so due to the lack of strength.

"How did you heal?"

She asked with great difficulty, as with the rotation of his hands, she vomited even more blood.

"As for how I could use the Sin Judge to heal?"

"Well, who said I need to snap my finger to use that ability?"

The fallen replied with a sadistic smile as he waited for Stella’s reaction before her death. He was steadily injecting the fist intent of corrupting life into her body through his hands, so there is no way she can live through this.

Well, unless she had some kind of divine healing ability or something.

"I see."

The reaction he expected didn’t come as Stella’s face became cold, although fresh blood with a hint of black was flowing through her mouth, nose, and ear, she didn’t even show a sign of pain.

Her eyes became indifferent as if she were looking at a dead person, as the fallen became confused for a while.

The fallen’s eyes suddenly widened as a sense of death shrouded his figure; he didn’t know the source of this, but he knew that he would die.

He quickly rushed back as his hands exited Stella’s body, leaving behind a gaping hole where black blood flowed out.

No matter how much he flew back, the sense of death didn’t disappear as he went higher and higher, as far away from Stella as possible.

As for Stella, unable to fly anymore, she fell to the ground as her back smashed against the smooth floor.

With her cold eyes, she looked at the fleeing figure of the fallen as her eyes turned into the color of the starry sky.

"I am sorry, my dearest lord."
