Universal Lord: Creating My Valkyries Army
Chapter 39: Ch.39 Aftermath(2)

Chapter 39: Ch.39 Aftermath(2)

The entire castle started to shake as the lion and the knight stared at one another. A beastlike smile appeared on Karas’s face as he punched out with his free hand.

His punch was targeted at the unscarred side of Baron’s face. This made Baron’s face red with anger as he blocked the punch.

"Bastard!"

Brondo shouted as the knight behind him started to move. The lion wasn’t to be outdone; its eyes showed a ferocious light.

Its muscles twitched as it was ready to pounce on the enemy. As both of their auras started to spike up, it seemed like a big fight was about to begin.

"Don’t forget your purpose for this meeting."

Just a they were about to fight, a voice reverberated throughout the room. Both of their aura was quickly suppressed, and they seemed a little powerless for a moment.

A momentum far surpassing them was released as they felt their blood freezing.

"Understood, Earthen King!!"

"Command accepted, Earthen King."

Both of them spoke as they let go of each other’s hand. The image of the knight and the lion behind them disappeared as they both bowed their prideful head.

"Good."

Saying that, the voice faded away into nothingness. The room fell to silence as the two mortal kings continued to bow their heads for a moment.

After a while, their nerves relaxed as they looked at each other and sat on their respective thrones.

"So the alliance has been accepted."

Baron asked as he took out a big bear bottle from his storage space and started to gulp it down.

"Yes, The Middle City lords have spoken, so out East River city will ally with you."

"The purpose of the alliance is simple."

"That is to suppress the development of the ’Lords’. The cancer to out world of Titania(Lords Continent)."

"And if possible wipe them out."

"Plus, the crystals dropped will be divided equally."

"Am I correct?"

Brondo said as he took out a cigar from his pocket. Still having a little sour face, he lit it up and took a puff.

Exhaling the smoke at Karas’s face, he smiled a little. This type of behavior calmed his angry heart.

"Hump!"

Karas snorted disdainfully at the provocation as his breath blew away the smoke. Throwing the half-filled bottle on the ground, he looked at Brondo’s face.

Shatter!

The bottle collided with the ground and shattered; the glass fragments and bear droplets flew in the air, and they stained the clothes of Brondo.

"Correct!"

"But Brondo, don’t dare to deceive me."

"I know the dark heart of you humans."

Karas spoke in a cold voice as murderous intent rose a little. Brondo didn’t refute the statement as he knew the reputation of humans in Titania.

"The higher-ups have commanded. I dare not neglect."

Saying the simple sentence, he stood up and walked toward the door.

"Better be the case."

Karas said as he took out another bottle of beer.

....

In the eastern side of Neo’s territory, the area starts to become rocky, but grass still can be seen growing in the ground.

After traveling for a few hundred thousand kilometers from here, one can find a massive ravine leading to unknown darkness.

Inside this ravine, an entire civilization existed as they had their own struggles and happiness.

A little deeper inside the ravine, you can see a territory, the territory of a lord. It was a small territory, perhaps not even having a radius of ten kilometers.

The lord inside the territory sat on the wooden bed inside the wooden house as he looked outside in despair.

His hands held a half-empty beer bottle, as such kinds of bottles could be seen littered on the ground.

His face looked a little rosy due to drunkenness as only in this state of half mindlessness can he escape from the cruel reality.

The world outside the territory fence was covered in darkness, and one could see glowing eyes shining from time to time.

These creatures are the reason for this lord’s despair-filled life as his growth was suppressed by them, his troops and heroes killed, and his future cut off.

Such was the situation for all those lords who had low and mid-level troops and were unlucky enough to be summoned in the underground world.

Ignoring the hopeless lord, if you go a little deeper into this underground world, you can see the formation of a massive army.

The army consisted of thousands of races, but the ones leading them were the dark elves, the only high-level race in this underground area.

In the army camp, a group of ascension rank sat down as if they were having a party. They were from different races, but that didn’t seem to bother them.

Well, in normal times, they would have been at each other’s throats, but the situation is a little different now.

All of them are facing a common enemy, the Lords, so they have united under the same banner.

This is how the underground races usually behave, fighting each other on normal days but huddling up together when they meet a foreign enemy.

"Kekeke, these so-called lords as just that."

A cave goblin laughed as he gulped down an entire beer bottle double his size. Hearing the goblins, others also started to laugh hysterically.

The dark elves just looked at it for a while before ignoring it and continuing on with their own business.

"Do we need to attack the surface world?"

One of them asked, a little worried; after all, the surface creatures generally hate the underground races.

"Well, this is our only chance for expansion."

"Plus, don’t you want to reach the Mortal King rank?"

The other elf spoke, a little lost in his own fantasy. The mention of the ’Mortal King’ rank seems to tempt the other elf so a look of hesitation appeared on his face.

"Yes, you are right."

"This is the only opportunity for our race and kingdom to grow."

He spoke, and although his words talked about his entire race, the greed on his face couldn’t be hidden. It was abundantly clear that he wanted to expand only for his personal gain.

After all, if he successfully becomes a Mortal King, he could be said to be the peak power in this continent.

The Earthen king rarely appears as they are most of the time busy trying to break the barrier of the Heavenly King realm.

A single seclusion can last hundreds of thousands of years, so they only appear when dealing with another earthen king.

The Heavenly Kings are even harder to find as they more or less exclude themselves from mortal affairs.

Their lifespans are counted in era’s so it is common for a Mortal’s King lifespan to end before they even hear about any Heavenly King.

As for those above these ranks, they can be said to be myths for the people in the lower ranks like these elves.

As for how they are sure that they can reach the Mortal King rank if they expand and destroy more lords.

Well, due to their luck, they were able to kill a lord, and his territory vanished before their eyes. But a single thing was left behind.

A large, pure white crystal, the Lord’s Crystal, a container for the purest type of energy in the world. And the amount contained in that single crystal was enough for all the Ascension Ranks in the underground to improve one rank.

"I heard a beastmen army was destroyed somewhat far away."

"Yes, it must be a lord’s army."

"Are you sure it could be a local beastmen force?"

"ha, what reason do those beastmen have for expanding eastward?"

"Yes, you know this is the closest lord we have found in the overworld."

"Yes, don’t waste this chance due to a little fear."

"Let’s destroy that lord!!"

"YeHHH!!"

"AGGG!!!"

The crowd talked in the back and laughed, they were in no mood to plan a complex attack as they felt like the lords didn’t deserve it.

They felt that victory was already in their grasp, and they just needed to wait for the Lord’s Crystals to be delivered.

Well, it seems they haven’t been slapped in the face by reality. Well, all in all, their luck can be considered quite good.

After all, the one dealing with them is Stella and not Lily. So, at least they will get a quick death.

Such a thing would have been a luxury if they faced Lily.

A Luxury the undead won’t get to enjoy. As in, Neo’s territory two light beam’s one silver and other green pierced through the sky.

The silver light flew toward the east, and the green light marched forward toward the north.

Neo stood on the wall and watched the two figures fade away. There was a little bite mark on his neck, a little handiwork of Lily.

"May you be by my side in this troubling journey."

Neo muttered to himself as he looked at the sky, then his attention turned toward the vast land before his eyes.

The flames of ambition burned deep within his eyes as he walked back toward his mansion.
