Li Lingyun and Lin Yan went out to a restaurant near the company.

Lin Yan looked at all the food Li Lingyun ordered and said "When I told you to order for me I didn’t mean you should order the whole food in the restaurant."

Li Lingyun chuckled and said "You have lost weight these past few weeks, you should eat up."

She has lost weight? How come she didn’t even notice. Come to think of it, even Lin An has mentioned something about her losing weight. How was she the only one that did not notice her weight loss. She sighed and took the spoon placed on the table and began eating.

Lin Yan smiled whenever Li Lingyun would place food on her plate but when it got too much she said "Are you planning to make me fat?"

Li Lingyun smiled and said "You will look beautiful either ways."

Lin Yan blushes and returned to eating her meal.

"I want you to go on a business trip with me to Australia."

"Australia?"

Li Lingyun nodded and said "Yes. If everything goes well, you will be able to have the richest man in there to invest in the hotel. For you to earn grandpa respect, you must first win his heart in business."

Lin Yan scoffed in disbelief and asked "Was that how you won his heart?"

"I was always a lovable grandson. He just couldn’t help it."

"I never knew you were this much of a naccist."

Li Lingyun laughed softly.

"How about Li Xiao? will she stay at the old house?"

"Yes. However, starting tomorrow nanny Bao has agreed to come live with us at Sun Villa. Do you mind?"

"No I don’t. It’s better than the coming and going of the maids."

"I fired all of them this morning."

"Was that why you made breakfast?"

"Yes."

Lin Yan pouted and said "I thought you did it for me."

Li Lingyun smile and said "Fine. I did it for you."

"Really?" Lin Yan asked in excitement.

"Hmm."

Just then Li Lingyun phone rang and he answered "Aunt, how are you?"

"We’ve talked about this, Meng Ziyi won’t participate in any film for a year, that is her punishment."

From Li Lingyun conversation she could guess that it was Wei Si he was talking to, come to think of it, this could be her opportunity to become close to Zhou Xi. She heard Li Lingyun saying "I will think about it." And ended the call.

"Does your aunt want you to allow Ziyi to return to the movie industry?"

"Yes, but I gave my word to Zhou Xi. Meng Ziyi won’t act any movie for a year."

"What if you let her act in the movie she was acting before but not as the female lead but just as a mere supporting actress. I think that will hurt her more and also it will be able to make your aunt feel at ease."

"With children like Ziyi and Meng Ying I doubt she ever feel at ease."

And then his phone rang again, he looked at the caller and sighed.

Lin Yan smiled and said "With the look on your face I can tell it’s the youngest cousin calling."

"How can you tell?"

"You had the same kill me look at the office when he called." Lin Yan replied with a smile.

Li Lingyun smile and said "I’m sure I did not have a kill me look." He answered the call and asked "Are you in trouble?"

"Brother Li Lingyun why do you think I’m always in trouble?"

"Then do you need money?" Li Lingyun asked instead.

Meng Ying laughed cheekily and said "You know me so well."

"Of course I do. How much do you need?"

"Just five hundred thousand. It isn’t much, right?"

Li Lingyun scoffed and said "I’ll send you a million. Spend it wisely because I won’t send you a dime till next month."

"Thank you brother Li Lingyun, you are the best. I love you so much. But can you please not tell big brother Zhu."

"I won’t tell him a thing but in return you have to do well in your studies."

"Of course I will, infact I will ensure that I come out as the first in my class."

Li Lingyun chuckled "Make sure you keep your word."

When Li Lingyun ended the call, Lin Yan said "It’s very obvious you love him so much. Is it because he is the youngest?"

"Maybe, but i love all my cousins including Ziyi. Meng Ying is an intelligent kid however he is extremely reckless."

"He can afford to be. I mean, his brother is about to become the president of this country, his cousin is the richest man in the country and his mother is the director to one of the biggest hospital in the country. With all this, don’t you think he can afford being reckless?"

Li Lingyun laughed "Just because he can afford it doesn’t mean he should be."

Lin Yan shrugged and said "True."

Lin Yan looked at the time in her phone and said "I have to pick up Li Xiao from school."

"Or you can ask your brother to pick her up."

"Lin An? But Li Xiao doesn’t know him."

"That is why he should pick her up. Let them have a bonding moment, as niece and uncle." Li Lingyun said with a mischievous smile on his face.

Lin Yan knew Li Lingyun was up to something but he was right, Lin An should bond with Li Xiao "I will call Lin An and ask him."

Li Lingyun nodded in approval.

Lin Yan immediately took her phone and called her brother and when the call went through she asked "Are you at home?"

"Why? Do you plan to visit me?" Lin An asked as he looked to his window and saw that the car that was there was gone.

"No. I want you to do me a favor."

"As long as it does not involve crazy then I will do it."

"Can you help me pick up Li Xiao from school?"

Lin An frown and asked "Why? She is your daughter."

"Exactly, making her your niece."

"Do we need to do a DNA test to prove otherwise?"

"Lin An!"

"Fine. I’m sorry but I can’t go pick up your precious Li Xiao. Do you want me to be accused of kidnapping? And besides why can’t you do it instead?"

"I am busy learning about the hotel and you won’t be accused of kidnapping. I will call the school and even send them your picture, so don’t worry about it." Lin Yan said but when she heard nothing from his side, she said "You told me you will do me this favor."

"I also remember saying that as long as it does not involve crazy but fine I will do it."

"Thank you so much, I will send you her school address."

"No need, she is going to imperial Academy right?"

"How did you know?"

Lin An scoffed and said "She comes from the richest family in this country, it is obvious that she would be going to the best school in country D. Just send which class she is in and also the name of her home room teacher and this is the last time I’m doing this. I can’t believe I’m spending my afternoon with a kid."

"Thank you very much. I love you." Lin Yan smile when Lin An ended the call without replying.

"You behave very much like Meng Ying whenever he gets his way. I’m sure the both of you will get along." Li Lingyun said as he sipped his wine.

"You think so?" Lin Yan asked with a smile.

"I believe so." Li Lingyun said with warmth in his heart. It was nice, having lunch with the woman he was starting to fall in love with was somehow fulfilling.

Lin An stood patiently as he saw the homeroom teacher checking a picture of him on her phone before looking at him, she did it three times before saying "So you are her uncle?"

"Yes I am." Lin An said politely but deep down his patience was running out.

The homeroom nodded and said "I will call her out for you."

Lin An sighed as he watched the homeroom teacher entering the classroom. Moment later she came back holding the hands of a little girl.

Was this Li Lingyun daughter? Why was she so tiny? This was the first time Lin An was seeing Li Xiao because he could not meet her at her birthday party due to Fang Min display of madness.

The home room teacher once again stood in front of Lin An while holding Li Xiao hand and said "Greet your uncle."

Li Xiao kept silent and just kept looking at Lin An before finally saying "He is not my uncle."

Lin An let out an amused smile. At least she knows not to follow just anybody. He took out his phone and called Lin Yan and when the call went through he said "Your kid doesn’t believe that I’m her uncle."

After a second, Lin An squatted and passed the phone to the little girl and said "Your mum wants to speak to you."

Li Xiao took the phone that was bigger than her hand and place it on her ears, her eyes lit up when she heard her mother voice.

Lin An smiled gently when he saw the light in her eyes. If only he once saw the same light in his sister’s eyes when she was little. He saw Li Xiao nodding fiercely before passing the phone.

Before he could ask Lin Yan what she told the girl, he became somehow startled when Li Xiao shouted "Uncle!" In excitement.

For some reason he was already beginning to feel an headache.
