Li Lingyun gaze moved from Shen Yi to the document in her hands, he collected the document and placed it back on his table.

Lin Yan frowned when she saw his actions and wondered if he was still angry with her, but Lin An told her that he kissed her, he would never have done that if he was still angry right?

Li Lingyun glanced at the box on his desk and asked "Did you buy snacks?"

Lin Yan shook her head and said "No, Nanny Bao gave them to me, she said they were your favorite."

Looking at the document on the table Lin Yan decided to ask "Who is Zhou Xi and why are you investing in her movie?"

Li Lingyun stared at Shen Yi for a brief moment before saying "She is the girl my cousin assaulted. I promised her that I will ensure her movie gets promoted"

Lin Yan widened her eyes and asked "Your cousin assaulted someone?"

Li Lingyun nodded and said "She paid a man to do the job, luckily the man didn’t take advantage of her."

"Didn’t the girl file a case?" Lin Yan asked, she has heard of how spoilt and bratty Meng Ziyi is, but she didn’t expect that the girl could hire someone to assault another girl. That was terrible.

"She didn’t and besides she has no evidence that it was Ziyi that did it to her and anyway I have handled the matter."

As Li Lingyun looked at Shen Yi and decided to ask the question that has been bothering him over since he handled Zhou Xi matter "Do you still want to be an actress?"

Lin Yan was first surprised by his question but instead of giving him a direct answer she asked "Will you let me?"

"I will allow you and also convince grandpa to let you be an actress, however, no kissing or bed scenes."

Lin Yan smiled and said "You don’t need to worry about that. I don’t want to be an actress anymore. I just want to learn how to run the hotel and be a good wife and mother."

Li Lingyun was actually surprised by her words "But you have always wanted to be an actress."

"Not anymore. I find managing an hotel to be more cool."

Although he didn’t show it but Li Lingyun was relieved by her answer. The thought of seeing Shen Yi acting intimate scenes with another man made him extremely uncomfortable.

"What’s your relationship with Lin An?" Li Lingyun suddenly asked.

Lin Yan on the other hand was not that surprised by this question she knew he was going to ask her very soon.

"I see him as my brother."

"Your brother? According to Lin An, the two of you met at his sister funeral. Am I to believe that the you both became siblings just like that."

"Then do you believe that he is my lover. Are you still accusing me of cheating on you?"

Li Lingyun sighed and said "I’m sorry I accused you of having an affair with Lin An but what else did you expect me to think?"

"Give me time. I will explain my relationship with Lin An in time but please trust me."

"How can I trust you when you don’t even trust me?"

"I trust you, is just that I need some time. Please."

Li Lingyun sighed and said "Fine. I have a meeting in two minutes I need to go, i will see you later."

Lin Yan watched as Li Lingyun left the office without turning back and felt sad. How did he expect her to tell him that she is actually Lin Yan, who would believe that?

Li Lingyun meeting took up to two hours, though he was at the meeting but his mind was not there. He kept thinking about Shen Yi and wondered what her secret was.

After the meeting Li Lingyun said to Gu Wei "Arrange a meeting with Miss Su."

"Yes sir."

Li Lingyun opened the door to his office and froze when he entered. He saw Shen Yi sleeping on his couch, he walked towards her and remove his suit jacket and then placed it on her.

As if feeling his presence, Lin Yan opened her eyes and quickly sat up when she saw Li Lingyun. "Sorry I fell asleep."

"I thought you’ve left, why are you still here?"

"How can I leave while you are still angry at me?" Lin Yan said while giving him puppy eyes.

She was looking at him like that again. Li Lingyun sighed and squatted to be in the same level like her, he held the back of her head and placed their foreheads together as he whispered "You couldn’t even give me a day to be mad at you. How long do I have to wait?"

They were so close, Lin Yan could practically feel his breath on lips and it was driving her crazy, she couldn’t even think straight as she gave her answer "A month or maybe less but I promise to tell you everything soon." After a few seconds, Lin Yan called out "Li Lingyun?"

"Hmm?"

"I’m about to kiss you right now." Lin Yan said before joining her lips with his, she moved her lips gently against his before pushing her tongue into his mouth.

Li Lingyun couldn’t help himself and kissed her back. His kisses were tender and passionate. He kissed her as if he wanted to possess her.

And when he gently pushed her on the couch, his kisses became demanding and intense. Li Lingyun hands moved to her waist and carress her as they enjoyed the taste of each other mouth.

Li Lingyun lips trailed downwards to her neck and shower kisses on her before biting her neck.

Lin Yan couldn’t control her moans when Li Lingyun licked and sucked on her neck. His kisses was so hot that she felt as she was going to be burnt alive. Whenever she was with Li Lingyun she felt a fire she has never felt for anyone not even for Li Jun.

After leaving his mark on her neck, his mouth captured her lips again and they kissed like that until they heard a rumbling sound.

Li Lingyun stopped and looked at Lin Yan and when they heard the sound again, Li Lingyun chuckled and said "Why didn’t you tell me that you haven’t eaten?"

Lin Yan felt embarrassed, she did not imagine that her stomach would make such sound at this moment.

Li Lingyun laughed when he saw Shen Yi flustered face and stood up, he held his hand out to her and said "Let’s get you something to eat."

Lin Yan held Li Lingyun hand and stood up from his couch, she did not let go of his hand as she asked "Do you still have work? If not, will you like to go on a date with me?"

Li Lingyun laughed softly, he didn’t expect Shen Yi to be this bold, first she tells him she wants to kiss him and now she was asking him to go on a date with her. "Yes, let’s go on a date."

In the Su Mansion, Su Yin stood in front of her father as he questioned her.

"I heard you bought Long Tian shares." Su Hao said.

"Yes father. I’m now a shareholder of the Li corporation."

"Li Lingyun now has a wife and a kid, are you still sure that you can get him?"

"Before he had a wife and a kid, he was in love with me. I’m sure that he hasn’t forgotten me."
