Just why was Li Jun here? Lin An asked himself when he heard him say "Have you forgotten that this is my uncle’s house. Infact I should be the one asking why you are here?"

Lin An ignored his question and said "Li Lingyun isn’t home, so you can leave now."

"Then that means, you are here, alone with his wife, right?" Li Jun asked with a smirk on his face.

"If you have nothing better to say then please leave."

"What exactly is your relationship with Shen Yi?"

Lin An smiled and said "Who knows, it could be the same relationship you had with Fang Min while you were still married to my sister."

Li Jun expression changed when Lin An mention his sister and with a sad sigh he said "I regret what happened between me and Lin Yan and if I could change things....."

"Regret? Isn’t it too early to regret?"

"What do you mean?"

"The ruining of your life haven’t even started yet but you are regretting?"

Li Jun stared at Lin An silently for a moment before letting out a chuckled and said "You know Lin An, the first time I met you, I knew we wouldn’t get along."

"Was it because I could tell from the start that you were not good for her?"

"Not good for her? I gave your sister everything she wanted."

"Money and status, those were the only things she got from you. You have never respected nor did you ever defend her when your trash of a mother kept on abusing her with her words."

"Mind your words Lin An, I won’t tolerate it if you speak about my mother like that. Just because your mom was a useless addict doesn’t mean every mother is like that. No matter the bad things my mother has done, she has always looked out for me and that is something you will never understand, you don’t even know what a mother love is."

"If Wang Hua love for you is what you call a mother’s love, then I glad I never experienced it. Get lost Li Jun and wait for the moment when you will truly feel regret." Lin An coldly replied.

Li Jun was about to say something when his phone rang, he looked at the caller ID and saw that it was an unknown number, he answered the call and within minutes his expression changed as he asked "Which hospital?"

Li Jun ended the call and was about to leave when he suddenly stopped and looked back at Lin An as he said "You can’t hide the truth forever Lin An, I will ensure I put everything back in it’s rightful place."

Imperial Hospital.

Li Jun rushed to the ward and saw his mother lying unconscious on the hospital bed.

"Mom." Li Jun whispered as he held her hands. Just then the doctor came in and said "Mr. Li, you are here."

"What happened to my mother?"

The doctor glanced at the unconscious woman and sighed as he said "According to what we were told she got into a fight with a mad patient and the result in that ended with her losing her tongue."

"What do you mean? Are you saying that a mad patient cut off my mother’s tongue?" Li Jun asked in anger.

"She is out of danger but when she regains conciousness and finds out that she can no longer speak, it will be difficult for her to process it."

Li Jun nodded and said "Please take care of her, I will be right back."

Li Jun left the hospital and went to the psychiatrist hospital to confront the director, he barge into the director’s office and asked "How could you have allowed this to happen to my mother?"

The director trembled in fear when he saw Li Jun anger and said "I....I didn’t know how it happened, I promise you. Knowing Wang Hua status, I asked two male nurses to always guide her but coincidently I learnt that they both asked for leave today."

"They both asked for a leave?" Li Jun asked with a frown.

The doctor immediately nodded and said "Even I found it suspicious and was planning to come to you after doing a thorough investigation. If someone was really behind this then that means the cutting of your mother’s tongue is a sign that they wanted her to keep quiet about something but that’s just my speculation."

Li Jun looked at the director and asked "What about the mad patient who did it?"

"We have lock him up in the confinement room."

"Release him to me and give me the address of those two nurses."

"Yes sir, I....will do that right away." The director said and quickly took out a piece of paper and with his trembly hands wrote the address of the two male nurses.

Li Jun collected the paper and said "Tonight, I will be back for that madman."

Sun Villa.

Li Lingyun rushed back home when Lin An told him that Li Jun was here. He saw Lin An on the couch and was about to go upstairs when Lin An "Don’t worry, she is sleeping."

Li Lingyun looked upstairs and then moved his gaze to Lin An as he asked "Why was Li Jun here?"

Lin An shrugged and said "I don’t know but one thing is certain, I hated his arrogance."

"What do you mean?"

"He looked at me as if he knew something that I don’t, he only left after he got a phone call."

Li Lingyun nodded and said "Wang Hua is in the hospital, she got into a fight with one of the mad patient who then cut off her tongue."

"Did you say her tongue was cut off? But how was that possible? Wasn’t she place in the best psychiatrist hospital in country D?"

"She was and this is why I smell Li Qi all over this."

"But why would he want to cut off the tongue of his ex daughter-in-law?"

"Because, I’m sure Wang Hua knew something we didn’t know about him."

Lin An sighed and said "To be honest, I don’t really care whether Wang Hua tongue was cut off or not, what I really want to know is why Li Jun came here. Do you think he knows?"

"There is no way he knows?"

"You have forgotten about Shen Yi who is in prison, should we learn some creativity from Li Qi and cut off her tongue as well?" Lin An asked with a smile.

Li Lingyun looked at Lin An as if he was crazy and whispered "Even after learning she is your half sister, you still think of cutting off her tongue."

Lin An scoffed and said "Just because a person is related to you by blood doesn’t make them family. Shen Yi is only related to me by blood and that’s just it, she isn’t and will never be my sister."

"Who is a family to you, Lin An?"

Lin An suddenly let out a smile and said "Believe it or not, apart from Lin Yan, I have learn to consider Li Xiao and you as my family."

Li Lingyun frowned and said "I get the Li Xiao part but why me?"

"I like the way you think and it’s being a long time I could count on someone other than myself and Lin Yan."

Li Lingyun let out a chuckled and said "You have clearly lost your mind. I will call the prison to find out if Li Jun has payed Shen Yi a visit or not."

After making the phone call, Li Lingyun looked at Lin An and said "The guy said no. Li Jun wasn’t on the visitors book."

"Then why did he have that smug look on his face?"

"Since it’s Li Jun we are talking about, I’m sure we will find out sooner rather than later." Li Lingyun said, he was feeling very uneasy for some reason.

In An Anbandoned building.

"We don’t know who he was? His only request was that we should take today off and he will give us two million each if we obey, we really didn’t know that Wang Hua was going to be a target." One of the male nurses cried out.

Li Jun looked at the two injured nurses and said "Didn’t you hear anything? Because right now that is the only way for you to save your life."

The male nurses looked at each other battered face and as if remembering something, one of them said "I remember when one of the thugs received a call, he replied with ’Yes, Mr. Li.’

"Mr Li? Are you sure about that? If I find out you are lying then I really will kill you and not even your body will be found."

"Yes , I’m very sure of that, that man definitely said Mr. Li."

Mr Li? It was definitely not Li Lingyun, no this wasn’t his style of doing things, rather cutting off their body part he just kills them right away. Then was it his dad? It can’t be, his father is nothing but a coward, to be honest he was even surprised that the man had the balls to even cheat, but this leave only one person.

The director said whoever cutted off her tongue wanted her to be silent about something and since when he was young, he knew that his mom knew a lot about his grandfather, so is Mr Li, Li Qi? Did his grandfather really order for his mom to lose her tongue? But why?
