Li Lingyun sat in his chair as he listened to Gu Wei reports, he knew Gu Wei was saying something but his mind was somewhere else. He was extremely worried about Lin Yan, he wondered if she was taking things too far by involving Li Ran second family, it was not as if he cared about them but he knew Wang Hua, that woman was capable of doing anything, including harming her husband’s mistress and if things were to come to that, he was worried that his wife might start blaming herself.

"And also....." Gu Wei suddenly stopped when he noticed that his boss was not paying attention. He sighed and said with a much louder voice "Mr. Li."

Li Lingyun came out of his thought when he heard Gu Wei calling him and sighed as he looked at him "Sorry, I was lost in thought."

"You are worried about Mrs. Li." Gu Wei stated.

Li Lingyun smiled and nodded.

"Well, what I’m about to tell you might make you even more worried."

Li Lingyun frowned and said "Tell me."

"It turned out that Li Ran mistress, Min Yu have been working as a cleaner at Greenville hotel and after meeting with Wang Hua, Mrs. Li fired her."

"Lin... Shen Yi fired her?"

"Yes sir."

Just then Gu Wei phone rang, he answered the call and frowned when he ended it.

Li Lingyun who saw the frown on his personal assistant face asked "What’s wrong?"

"The secretary said a man named Min Xue is here and he wishes to see you. She said he is making a fuss about how he is related to you."

Li Lingyun frowned and asked "Why does Li Ran other son want to see me?"

"Should I send him out?"

"No, send him in."

Gu Wei nodded and made a call. Few minutes later, they both heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." Li Lingyun said coldly.

The door was opened and a young man came in. He worn a button up shirt and jeans and with his dark brown hair he looked exactly like Li Ran, there was no doubt that he was Li Ran son. However what put a frown on Li Lingyun face was the way he was walking, he walked as if he owned the place.

"Sit." Li Lingyun said coldly. He looked at Gu Wei and said "leave us."

"Yes sir." Gu Wei said and left the two of them alone.

After Gu Wei left, Li Lingyun looked at Min Xue and asked "Why were you making a fuss to see me? As far as I’m concerned, I have no business with you."

"Wow, the rumors are true, you really are cold. How can you say we have no business with each other when we are practically cousins." Min Xue said with a smile.

Li Lingyun frowned and asked "What do you want?"

Min Xue scratch his hair and said "You see, my father witch of a wife not only made my mother to lose her job but also made us to lose our home."

"So?"

"So, I need a job. After all this is a family company, I have rights."

"I never knew an illegitimate child has rights."

"I may be illegitimate but I am still Li Ran son."

"You are a Min not a Li. The moment Li Ran publicly announced that you are his son and gives you the Li last name then you can join the company."

Min Xue looked at Li Lingyun angrily and said "Having a place here is my right and no one can stop me from exercising those rights. I don’t even see what the problem is, I could be your ally against Li Jun."

"But I don’t need you. Li Jun is my business and I hate when a stranger tries to interfere in my business. You may take your leave now."

Min Xue just looked at Li Lingyun silently before he stood up, he was about to leave when he said "One day, you will regret your decision."

Li Lingyun coldly watched as he Min Xue walked out and few minutes later, he heard a knock on the door and before he could even ask the person to come in, the door opened showing a smiling Meng Zhu.

He walked him and said "Judging from the angry face that just walked out, I could safely say that the meeting did not go well."

Li Lingyun sighed and said "I never thought a day would come where I would prefer Li Jun over someone else."

Meng Zhu laughed softly and asked "So that was the illegitimate son everyone has been talking about?"

Li Lingyun nodded and said "He is even more greedier than Li Jun."

Meng Zhu smiled and said "Well I have a news that will make you feel better."

Li Lingyun could see the happiness in Meng Zhu face, he wondered what it was that made his cousin to look so happy. "Tell me. I will love to hear it."

"Yao Qi and I have decided to adopt a child."

"Really? And did grandma agree to it?"

Meng Zhu said "Yes" with a smile on his face.

Li Lingyun smiled and said "Congratulations. So that means I’m finally going to become an uncle."

"You became an uncle long ago with Fang Mei and Li Yuze or do you not consider them as your niece and nephew?"

"If Fang Mei or Li Yuze were to need my help on anything, I will help them but I don’t think I will ever have a close bond with the kids. I can’t trust Li Xiao with Li Jun or Fang Min and I’m sure they will never trust me with their kids as well."

"I get it but I have another great news."

"Another?"

Meng Zhu nodded with a wide smile and said "That brat Meng Ying has finally decided to come back to country D."

"He is done with his exams?"

"He has been done since three months ago, he just didn’t want to come back."

Li Lingyun smiled and said "I hope your excitement about Meng Ying return doesn’t change to complaints."

"I will always complain about him but I still love him very much and hopefully he won’t get out of control."

Li Lingyun nodded and said "It’s good he is coming back, we both know he is the one Ziyi listens to the most."

Lin Yan heard a woman cried immediately she entered the hotel. With just a look, she knew who that was, she was Min Yu, Li Ran mistress. Why was she so desperate to meet her, was it because she lost her job?

"Mrs Li." The receptionist said with relief after sighting Shen Yi.

Lin Yan looked at Min Yu with a frown and asked "What is going on here?"

Min Yu immediately rushed to Lin Yan and suddenly knelt down.

"What do you think you are doing?" Lin Yan asked.

"I know you must hate me after all it’s because of me your family is in turmoil but I have never done anything to you. I don’t know why you fire me but please don’t blacklist me from the industry." Min Yu said with tears in her eyes.

What a strange woman? Who would beg for a cleaning job? Yes the pay was thirty thousand but still...

Lin Yan scoffed and bend down as she whispered "Was this how you made Li Ran fall for you, by acting pitiful?"

"What?"

"Your type is the ones I hate the most." Lin Yan said and stood up. She looked at the receptionist and said "If she continues to make a scene then call the security to drag her out."

"Yes Ma."

Lin Yan glance at Min Yu and walked away.

After entering her office, she saw a familiar figure sitting on her chair. Lin Yan closed the door with a sighed and asked "What do you want? And who let you in?"

Fang Min smiled slightly and said "I thought you would be more happy to see me, after all seeing me is much better than a crying mistress."

Lin Yan laughed softly and said "I surprised the both of you aren’t friends, after all you both are mistresses. Come to think of it Fang Min, how are you so sure that Li Jun isn’t cheating on you right now."

Fang Min smiled turned into a frown as she said "Li Jun would never cheat on me because unlike Lin Yan, I gave him children."

"Then how many times has he told you how much he loves you. I love you, have he ever said those words to you."

"Shen Yi!" Fang Min shouted. It was true, ever since they got married, Li Jun has never told her he loved her, forget about telling her he loved her, he has never even slept with her, using the pregnancy as an excuse and now that she was no longer pregnant, he has still refused to touch her.

Lin Yan smiled when she saw the anger in Fang Min eyes and said "I’m right, aren’t I? Li Jun no longer loves you, does he even sleep with you. I mean if he isn’t getting it from you then he must be getting it from someone else right?"

Could Shen Yi be right, is Li Jun really sleeping with someone else? That could be the real reason he has never slept with her all through their marriage.

Lin Yan who saw Fang Min in thought frowned, was Li Jun and Fang Min not actually sleeping together, why? It was through the maid in Li Jun house that she was able to plant those pictures in Li Yuze room and when the maid told her that Li Jun and Fang Min were sleeping in separate beds, she decided to use it to one day taunt Fang Min but who would have thought that a separate bed was the least of their issue.

Lin Yan scoffed and said "Let’s forget about that for now, your marriage isn’t my business after all. Why are you here, Fang Min?"

Fang Min let go of her thoughts and took in a deep breath as she said "I need your help."

"A lot of people are needs my help but what i don’t get is why they think I would help them."

"Because for some reason you dislike Wang Hua."

"But Wang Hua isn’t my problem. Fang Min, don’t you think you are wasting too much time, now that Li Ran has asked Wang Hua for a divorce I’m sure all of her anger would be directed towards you, the person who sent everyone those pictures. The least I can do for you is a promise."

"What promise?"

"Li Lingyun and I won’t get involved, so you can deal with your mother-in-law any way you see fit. Min Yu should be a good start, don’t you think."

Fang Min looked at Lin Yan for a brief moment and suddenly laughed before saying "Now I can see why you can stay married to a cold and heartless man like Li Lingyun, you are just like him if not worst. Is Li Xiao going to grow up like you?"

"Li Xiao is going to grow into someone your daughter can’t bully as she wish."

"My daughter? You are not worried about me?"

Lin Yan smiled and asked "Do you really think that you will still be a member of the Li family when Li Xiao celebrates her tenth birthday?"

"Lin Yan and Li Jun marriage lasted for three years, it’s funny how you think yours would last longer just because you gave him kids. Grow up Fang Min, he cheated before and he will definitely do it again." Lin Yan said with a bright smile on her face. Her marriage with Li Jun lasted for only three years, she was going to make sure that Fang Min and Li Jun marriage won’t even reach the third year.
