Chapter 113: An Insult To Motherhood.

Today was the gathering of the SECRET CLUB. It was a club filled with rich and high class women and Wang Hua was the president of this club. Being rich wasn’t enough to join this club, you must first have connections with politicians and big business tycoons and must also be recommended by a member of the club. Ever since Wang Hua became the president she has rejected so many people, some it was because they were divorcee while others were merely because they were not rich enough to be a member.

The meeting was held in Greenville hotel as it is the biggest hotel in country D. Fang Min has asked Wang Hua to take her along and to make her a new member of the secret club, seeing it was her daughter-in-law who had also given her family an heir, Wang Hua agreed at once.

All the women were either drinking, playing games or gossiping. At this moment, Wang Hua climbed the podium with a drink with Fang Min by her side. She used a spoon to hit the glass gently, gaining the other women attention.

"Once again we are gathered here not only to enjoy ourselves but to discuss our issues and also form new business alliances. I’m sure most of you already know this but beside me is my beloved daughter-in-law, Fang Min and starting from this day she is now a member of this club."

Everyone clapped with a smile, Fang Min bowed slightly to everyone and said "Thank you for welcoming me, it’s an honor."

Just then a notification appear on everybody phones. The mumurs became louder as the women viewed their phone.

Wang Hua frowned when she saw a look of pity and disgust on their face and came down from the podium. She collected a member phone and gasp at what she saw. It was a picture of her husband kissing another woman.

Was this really Li Ran? No he would never cheat on her, he was too foolish to do such a thing.

The member forcefully collected her phone from Wang Hua hands and said "You have always criticize women who got divorce because their husband cheated on them and now what went wrong? Couldn’t the great Wang Hua handle her husband desires?"

Wang Hua glared at the woman and gave her a loud slap as she said "Don’t forget that you and your pathetic husband would have gone bankrupt if I didn’t save you."

She looked around her and saw all the women looking at her with pity and said "This picture is a lie, it’s obvious it’s fake and I will get to the bottom of it. If I were to find out that it was one of you who did this then I will end you myself."

Wang Hua collected her purse and ran out of the hotel. Fang Min on the other hand could not hold back her smile after Wang Hua left. This was perfect, now she will be able to blame Shen Yi for releasing this picture and finally be able to make them kill themselves.

Wang Hua immediately called Li Ran as she entered her car but there was no answer. She angrily screamed and suddenly received a message from her phone, she looked at the driver and said "Take me to Li Jun house."

Few minutes later, Wang Hua arrived at Li Jun house, she rang the doorbell and few seconds later, their maid opened the door. Wang Hua entered the house as she asked "Is Li Jun at home?"

"No, both sir and madam are not around. Should I inform Sir Li, that you are here."

"No, there is no need for that. The thing is, the last time I came here, I forgot my purse, I’m just here for it so there is no need for you to tell that I was ever here."

The maid nodded and said "I will be in the kitchen if you need anything ma."

Immediately the maid left to the kitchen, Wang Hua climbed up the stairs and quickly went to Li Yuze room. She opened the door and saw that the baby was asleep. She began searching the room, she search the drawer and locker but there was nothing.

She was about leaving when she noticed a small box beside Li Yuze crib, she quickly opened the box and saw the same pictures that was sent to everyone at the club. This means that it was really Fang Min who sent those pictures to everyone. But why? Why would Fang Min do this to her? Why would she allow her to be humiliated in front of everyone?

Just then she heard a car drive in and knew Fang Min was probably back.

Wang Hua left the room with the pictures and went downstairs, she immediately went to Fang Min and gave her a slap, she threw the pictures at her and said "After everything I have done for you, this was how you decided to repay me? By humiliating in front of everyone."

Fang Min looked at the pictures in shock, she was sure she burnt them so how come they were still here. She looked at Wang Hua angry face and said "I didn’t do it. I burnt those pictures."

"That means you knew about these pictures. Perhaps you forgot to burn these ones. I have given you everything you have asked for, I was the only one who supported you in marrying Li Jun and this is how you pay me back."

Fang Min scoffed and said "Support? You supported me? How? Was it by almost putting Li Jun to jail thereby ruining my future or was it by being unable to handle your husband and now Li Jun has to worry about an illegitimate brat. Tell me Wang Hua, in what ways exactly have you supported me?"

Wang Hua gave Fang Min another slap as she said "That brat Lin Yan was so much better than you, at least she would never have thought of stabbing me in the back. Remember this day Fang Min, because I will make you pay for the humiliation I have endured today."

Wang Hua took the pictures that was on the floor and left.

Fang Min clenched her fists tightly as she whispered "Damn you, Shen Yi."

Lin Yan was done with her meetings and it was time to pick up Li Xiao from school, when leaving the hotel, her step slow down when she saw a familiar figure resting on her car.

"What are you doing here?" Lin Yan asked coldly.

"Isn’t that the question I’m supposed to ask you. After all it is you who is an imposter." Zhou Xi replied. She wanted to confront this woman and find out who she really was and if possible scared her to leave her husband and daughter alone. She was sure that Li Lingyun has no idea that he has been living with an imposter.

Lin Yan sighed. Among all days, she wasn’t really in the mood to deal with this drama. "I have no idea what you are talking about? And you can’t just come here and say whatever you like, I could ask the security to throw you out."

"Do that and everyone will know that you are not the real Shen Yi."

Lin Yan scoffed and said "If I’m not the real Shen Yi then who is? You? I wonder if people know that the winner of the best actress award has actually lost her mind."

Shen Yi frowned and said "You may enjoy it for now. The car, the house, the hotel, my husband and even my daughter, enjoy it all but you and I both know they will never truly be yours."

Lin Yan let out a soft laugh and asked "Are you done? You know I wondered the day you would confront me, I just never expected it to be today. Zhou Xi, do you really believe that all these you mentioned were actually yours, if I’m not mistaken you were adopted right? I have somewhere to be so stop wasting my time and get lost."

Shen Yi frowned, just who was this woman and how dare she speak that way to her. She was Shen Yi, the only daughter of the Shen family, no one has the right to speak that way to her.

Lin Yan smiled when she saw the anger in Shen Yi eyes and asked "Do you really think you are still the daughter of the Shen family. Right now, you are Zhou Xi, a girl who has nothing and came from nothing, just because you suddenly became popular doesn’t make you a somebody after all, there is no career as fragile as that of an actress. Now if you are done with your nonesense, I have a child to pickup."

"You mean my Li Xiao."

Lin Yan scoffed and asked "Your Li Xiao? Have you finally gone mad?"

"Do you really think Li Lingyun would never find out the truth?" Shen Yi asked.

"Go ahead and tell him or do you want his number just in case you have lost it. And Incase Li Lingyun is not enough, I could arrange a press conference for you and then you can tell the world that you are Shen Yi, you are the real wife of Li Lingyun and the mother, oh no scratch that, it would be an insult to motherhood if I were to call you one."

"Excuse me?"

Lin Yan walked closer to Shen Yi and said "I saw you at the other day at Li Xiao school, why? You suddenly missed the child you had abandoned? Listen to me, the only thing you did was to give birth to her but Li Xiao is my daughter and if I were see you close to her again I will kill you. Now get lost." Lin Yan pushed her from her car and was about to enter it when she suddenly turned to Shen Yi and said "One more thing, never in your entire life refer to my daughter as yours, it’s disgusting." She entered the car and drove away without looking back.

Shen Yi watched as the car drove away and suddenly screamed in frustration. She could not believe that she was afraid, when that imposter threatened to kill her, she felt a fear that she has never felt for anyone, not even for Fang Min. Just what was the real identity of that crazy woman? She dialed a number and when the call went through she said "I need your help."

After Lin Yan drove away from the hotel, she immediately called Lin An and it did not go through, she call again and again and on the fifth try, he answered and said "This better be important, I’m about to have a meeting."

Lin Yan frowned and asked "You do meetings?"

"Yes Lin Yan, Incase you have forgotten, I have a company."

"Oh."

"What do you mean by OH?"

"It’s just that you are always at home that I even forget that you are employed much less own a company."

"Very funny. Why the call?"

Lin Yan sighed and said "Would you believe that crazy woman came to confront me?"

"What crazy woman? There are many of them in your life, so specify." Lin An said with a sense of humor.

Lin Yan rolled her eyes and said "Zhou Xi, Shen Yi, whatever her name is."

"The real Shen Yi came to confront you?"

"Yes, she did. She wouldn’t stop calling me an imposter and threatened to tell Li Lingyun about me."

"And are you worried?"

"Worried? Of course not, he already knows and even if she were to say anything, nobody would believe her."

"Exactly, nobody would believe her, so ignore her and focus on getting rid of Wang Hua, don’t lose track of your goal."

"But she looked desperate. You know what desperation do to people."

"And we have learnt to tame people’s desperation, haven’t we?"

Lin Yan smiled and said "We have."

"And besides, if Shen Yi is a threat, then we will handle her, just the way we have handled everyone who has ever threatened our happiness."
