Chapter 33: Chapter 33:Realm of war

(Welcome to the Realm of War, where all races are given a chance to fight for godhood, and awakeners are granted the opportunity to become the strongest god—or even the God of Existence.)

Kael heard this message as the white space around him vanished, and in the next instant, he found himself in a vast forest. Towering trees, dozens of meters tall, stretched high into the sky, their thick bark and vibrant green leaves adding to the dense atmosphere. Flowers and wild plants of various sizes were scattered across the forest floor, creating a scene both serene and overwhelming.

In the distance, rolling hills rose against the horizon.

"Is this the Realm of War?" Kael muttered in shock.

Something felt different. The air was heavier, denser, and gravity bore down on him more than it ever had. Yet, strangely, his body adjusted with ease, as though it had always belonged in this realm.

"I’m an Awakener now?" Kael clenched his fists, feeling an unfamiliar power coursing through his body. The strength within him was immense, making him feel almost... whole.

"All-Seer."

A translucent screen materialized before him.

Name: Kael

Rank: Awakener (Low Level)

Concepts: Chaos, Nothingness, Void

Abilities: All-Seer, Chaos Body, Void Body, Nothingness Body, Hollow, Hunger, Chaos Whisperer

"Wow..." Kael was stunned as he scanned his stats. But that wasn’t the only surprise.

His senses had heightened to an entirely new level. He could hear the rustling of leaves, the chirping of insects, and—

His expression hardened.

"Animals..."

A chill ran down his spine as he instinctively turned in one direction. A powerful aura emanated from that place, something that made his instincts scream at him to run. He quickly looked away.

For now, there was something else he needed to test.

Boom!

Kael walked up to a massive tree and threw a punch at its trunk.

"Huh? Nothing? What the fuck?" His brows furrowed. The tree didn’t even shake.

Then—darkness.

A vast, suffocating shadow passed over him. Kael’s body froze as a deep rumbling sound followed.

His breath hitched.

"What was that...?" His eyes darted toward the source of the darkness.

He was in a completely foreign world, one he knew nothing about. And whatever had just passed by—it was something beyond comprehension.

"I need a better view."

Kael bent his knees and leaped into the air.

The moment his feet left the ground, he soared dozens of meters high. From his vantage point, his eyes widened in horror.

A colossal being was moving across the land.

The darkness he had seen before?

It was just its foot.

The sheer scale of the creature was beyond anything he had ever imagined. Even more shocking, he realized something crucial—

Despite how strong he felt, despite being far more powerful than he had been when he slaughtered countless beings in the past... he could barely damage the ground. His jumps were still pathetically low compared to the vastness of this world.

"This realm... is beyond anything I can comprehend. To break free from it, I’ll need power beyond imagination."

He landed on the ground, his mind racing.

"First things first—information. I need to learn about the Realm of War and where I am. Second, I have the Concepts of Chaos, Nothingness, and Void—I need to understand their strengths and weaknesses. But before all that... I need to get to safety."

Kael cast a wary glance in the direction of the ominous aura he had felt earlier—then promptly turned and walked the opposite way.

*********

Elsewhere...

"Ahaha! For real... The wielder of Chaos, Nothingness, and Void—all three are present ? Fascinating."

A sinister laugh echoed through a valley where monstrous beings with glowing red eyes lurked in the shadows.

Deep within an underwater kingdom, a figure with a serpent’s lower half and a human torso sat upon a throne, its eyes gleaming with intrigue.

"We have three of them...." It murmured.

And far away, on a desolate island, a serpentine entity stretched endlessly beyond sight, its enormous body coiling through the land.

"Chaos, Nothingness, and Void... I must devour all three," the being growled, its hunger palpable.

Throughout the realm, powerful entities stirred.

First, it had been shocking enough that a being wielding the Concept of Chaos had appeared.

Now, one with the Concept of Nothingness had emerged.

And another with the Concept of Void.

Not to mention... the girl who wielded Space-Time.

The turbulent time has begun.

Kael had been walking for ten minutes, carefully analyzing his surroundings.

One thing was clear—nowhere was safe.

He had already witnessed terrifying creatures crossing his path. Thankfully, they seemed to ignore him, likely because he was too weak to be of interest.

Another thing he noted was the air itself. It was incredibly fresh—far purer than anything he had ever breathed before.

But there was one oddity.

He hadn’t seen a single normal animal.

The only creatures he had encountered so far were monstrous, and frankly, he was relieved he hadn’t run into more of them. Even the insects here were horrifying.

And now, standing directly in front of him, was one such abomination.

A two-meter-tall grasshopper with the body of a snake that stretched ten meters long.

"Holy shit..." Kael muttered as the creature locked eyes with him.

Name: Tikhopper

Rank: Evolved (Peak)

Concept: none (shards 10/100 of space shards)

Ability: Slice – Can cut through any section of space, instantly killing its prey.

Kael’s expression darkened.

"The ’Evolved’ realm... is it stronger or weaker than mine?"

When he had tried using All-Seer on those enormous beings before, all he saw were question marks.

Before he could contemplate further—

Shroa!

The Tikhopper lunged.

"Time to test this out," Kael muttered, shifting left as he threw a punch.

The moment his fist connected—

He barely felt anything.

The smooth scales of the Tikhopper’s lower body registered for a fraction of a second—before vanishing completely.

"Huh?"

BOOM!

An explosion of flesh and blood erupted as the creature’s body was torn apart, its remains splattering across the ground.

Kael blinked.

"Fuck... so weak?"

He stared at the gore-drenched ground in amazement. He hadn’t even gone all out.

Then, his mind drifted back to those colossal beings from before.

He had felt so powerless against them.

And yet, against this creature...

"So, I went from being humbled to realizing just how strong I actually am... But what if this was just the weakest thing here?"

Kael exhaled. The stench of the creature’s blood was repulsive, but tolerable.

"I need to find a stream to wash this off."

He continued forward, searching for water.

A few minutes later, he spotted a stream.

But he didn’t approach immediately.

Instead, he observed.

The stream seemed shallow and undisturbed, yet he saw no creatures around it. Still, he wasn’t taking any chances.

"I need to test something first."

He walked over to a small tree and grabbed a thin branch.

Snap!

Or at least, that’s what he expected.

"Hmm... what the fuck? Why is this harder to break than steel?!"

Veins bulged across his arms as he struggled against the twig.

Kael clenched his jaw.

"Man, I might be one of the weakest beings in this realm, but still... I won’t accept this. This twig—"

He narrowed his eyes.

"The battle between you and me... has begun

After some agonizing moments... cough after a few minutes, Kael finally heard a crack as the twig snapped. He collapsed onto the ground, breathing heavily, staring at the small twig—only a few inches long—in his hand.

"Embarrassing... but I did it," Kael muttered with a smirk. It had been a while since he felt this childish—unlike the recent past when he had mercilessly slaughtered some of the most important figures in a world.

"Now, more importantly, let’s get started," Kael said, shifting his focus to his bloodied body. The reason he wanted the twig was to test the waters and see if any creatures lurked beneath.

Normally, when something enters a body of water, it can trigger hidden creatures to attack. If something reacted, Kael planned to use his All Seer ability to assess the threat. With that in mind, he tossed the twig into the water.

Plop.

The twig floated on the surface as Kael waited. A minute passed... then two... then ten, but there was no movement.

"Hmm... maybe the creature can see from the water. That would be dangerous," Kael mused.

Just then, he heard the burst of a girl’s laughter.

"Hahahaha! Mister, you should’ve seen how you looked!"

Kael turned around, eyes narrowing as he spotted a little girl giggling at him.

He had sensed something faint earlier, but it was so weak—no, weak was an understatement. It was so insignificant that his senses had completely ignored it.

"Heh, funny little girl. What are you doing here?" Kael asked. This was a chance to gather information, even if it was from a child.

"Hahahaha, that’s even funnier! Look at you!" the girl laughed even harder.

Kael frowned and truly looked at his body—thin arms, small hands...

"Wait... fuck! This is my ten-year-old body?!" Kael thought in shock with a shock expression on his face.

The girl burst into another round of laughter, clutching her stomach.

Kael stayed silent, processing what was happening.

"Alright, you seem confused... but that blood on you? Was your village attacked?" The girl suddenly turned serious. "No, wait, animals wouldn’t come here... This is a safe zone. Did you come from far away?"

Kael’s eyes narrowed.

From her words, he picked up a few key details: "Safe zone." "Animals won’t come here." "Did you come from far away?"

"Yes," Kael answered, before asking, "Sorry for the impudence, but is the water safe?"

"Yes! You’re covered in blood, though. Wash up, then follow me to the village—we need to report you to the leader," the girl said.

Kael nodded and walked toward the stream.

Then, he casually removed his clothes and stepped into the water.

"Wait... h-he’s undressing?! No... no... A b-boy...!"

The girl’s face turned red as she screamed internally.
