Chapter 154: error
Chapter 154: error
Using both his hands he slammed the ground, propelling several clones in front upwards. With a swift motion the creatures arms elongated. Moving with a mind of it’s own, making several slashes in an arc motion.
Thud! Thud! Pieces of the clones bodies rained to the floor. With a wide grin the creature moved from spot, swiftly moving with such fluid motion. That made one question the laws of gravity.
It’s dark claws partly dyed with a shade of red, from the clones blood with it’s teeth.
Splash! Slashing a clone into two another cline suddenly held it’s leg. Along with several other clones holding down parts of his body pinning him down.
Swoosh! A clone moved fast with the scythe in his hands, attempting to behead the entity.
Roar! It’s aura burst out with several spikes potruding from it’s body. Plunging into the clones bodies, immediately killing them. Stretching it’s hand the creature grabbed the clone, stopping it in it’s track. Using the other hand he squeezed hard on the clone head.
Pop! A sharp pop sound was heard, as the clone head exploded into a pulp. Unable to keep up with the intense pressure. The body slowly slipping from the creature’s hand, to the floor.
Bang!
An explosion sound erupted along with a jetski of dark red flames, directly hitting the entity in the chest. Sending it backwards crashing into a pillar, destroying it. While still being pushed back by the flames.
Die you abomination! The mimic roared with a crazed grin plastered to his face. His hands stretched forward, with the blazing flames shooting from the mimic’s palm.
Roar! Stomping it’s foot it tried to evade the flames but the mimic wouldn’t let it. Forming a flame whip wrapping around the entity’s leg.
Get over here! The mimic roared pulling the flame whip along with the creature down.
Thud! The scythe was stopped dead in it’s tracks, caught by a hand from the creature.
It caught my attack? The mimic frowned with shocked eyes seeing how the entity easily caught the scythe by the head.
Attempting to pull the scythe out he couldn’t, under the fierce grip from the entity. Twisting it’s head to the side the entity made a 360° degree turn. It’s two hollow white eyes locked on to the stunned mimic.
We.. are.. legion. The entity spoke again it’s hand elongated furiously slashing it’s claw at the mimic chest. But before it connected dark shadows engulfed the mimic.
Haha! You’re just a mindless fool. The mimic grinned unaffected by the entity’s furious slashes in his shadow form.
Bam! Using his scythe he slashed at the entity sending it skidding back. Chunking off some of the black gooey skin.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Stomping it’s foot a part of the dark shadows left his right leg, shooting in a straight line on the floor. Reaching the entity’s leg with the protrusion of the black spikes. Impaling the creature lifting it up a bit in the air.
Roar! The creature roared in pain struggling to break free from the black spikes. Which dug more into it’s skin the more it moved.
It was fun while it lasted, but the end is always inevitable. Slightly shaking his head the mimic calmly walked towards the entity. Gripping the hilt of his scythe tightly with both his handshe attempted to end the creature.
N-no.. I have to help them. Gritting his teeth Kyle struggled to move forward. He’d gotten back somewhat control of both his legs with the extraction process being at 61.
[Demon energy: 50/50]
[Hp: 200/200]
His demon energy and hp were now full. Having rested a bit he recovered some of his stamina so he was confident he could defeat the mimic with the help of his parents and snow.
Bang! Bang!
Several black spikes potruded from the ground in a straight line forcing Kyle to jump to the side.
Stay there and watch as I kill your parents boy. The mimic said with a smug grin. A bit of his shadows pinning Kyle down. Turning his attention back to the mimic.
He-he-he-he. The entity let out an eerie chuckle raising it’s head a bit.
Does the thrill of dying fascinate you creature?
No.. your head looks tasty. It smiled making a frown form on the mimic’s face. Leaping a bit the mimic slashed the scythe downwards at the creature’s head.
Bang! Bang!
The spikes holding the entity up snapped, pulling the creature down. Shooting upwards the next second, aimed for the mimic.
Grunting the mimic acted fast slashing at the incoming scythe pushing himself back with the shadows.
Impossible. It’s absorbing the spikes. He stuttered seeing the black spikes molecules loosening. Turning into black goo entering into the dark entity’s body.
My turn. The entity grinned disappearing from spot, shooting like a blur straight for the mimic. Attempting to use the shadows it’s eyes widened, not feeling a connection like before. And that’s when it noticed the black goo eating away at his left leg.
Swoosh!
Feeling the air turn sharp the mimic acted on reflex, slashing at his side.
Clang!
A loud clang sound echoed as the scythe connected with the entity’s claw. Creating a small shockwave vibrating with power.
Bam! For the first time, the mimic lost out in the battle of strength. Sent crashing into a pillar splitting it in half.
I-it got stronger, how? The mimic inwards questioned feeling the abnormal increase in the entity’s strength. But it didn’t have time to think as the entity was upon him.
Running he dodged the hit from the creature whom crashed into the pillar, bringing it down completely. Quickly regaining itself it let out a loud roar rattling the building a bit. Stomping it’s foot it shot up a bit in the air. Descending fast downwards to the mimic.
Attempting to dodge his legs got stuck by the strange black goo. Pinning his left foot down. Trying to use the shadows he struggled, feeling the shadows covering his body acting up.
Come on! He yelled, finally rekindling a connection with the shadows. Sinking into the floor, just in time before the creature landed. Making a small crater.
[Incredible.. I’ve never heard of a species growing stronger with each injury. Their gene structure is so complex yet adaptable to change.] Snow said scanning the black entity.
Kyle could tell she was fascinated by the creature and he couldn’t deny he also was. Not only was it stronger than him in demon form but also strategic and not mindlessly attacking with brute force.
Still.. the damages they’ve suffered is a lot. How are they still able to fight? He wondered how it was possible the black entity moved after being impaled with numerous of the mimic’s black spike.
He knew the creature was unaffected by whatever toxins the spikes had. As it was somehow extracting the toxins from his body.
[Extraction process 78%]
He could now feel parts of body but he still wasn’t at a hundred percent. And there was also the problem of the shadows pinning him down.
Gripping the katana he plunged it into the shadows hoping for somewhat effect but nothing took place.
It’s still not working. He frowned seeing the ice buff from the legendary their katana had no effects on the shadow whatsoever.
[There are several factors that could hinder the elemental damage to shadows such as a higher being or shadow.] Snow said making Kyle raise a brow.
A higher shadow? Like a higher shadow skill?
[No, Kyle. Am talking about a real living shadow created through dark magic. That grows stronger and evolves like ability user’s.] Snow said making Kyle’s face go a little pale.
He wasn’t aware of the existence of a shadow ability or skill until meeting Vladimir. Acquiring only one shadow skill at the lowest level which was very useful in tight situations. But never in his wildest thoughts had the idea of a living shadow come into mind.
Bang! Bang!
Several multiple black spikes shot upwards, impaling the creature’s thick skin. Which was soon absorbed by the entity.
Roar! It let out a dominant roar sinking both it’s hand to the ground. Some of the black goo leaving it’s body, into the shadows. Making the shadow vibrate in a static motion. Changing into different distorted shapes.
Argh! The mimic screamed reverting into it’s human form. With an entirely different unknown face, rising from the ground. The shadows leaving it’s body, entering into the creature.
W-what did you do to me!? It roared in anger, small black vein like substance, spreading from his leg upwards.
Just an infection. The creature grinned annoying the mimic more.
I-i’ll show you true power! The mimic roared. His aura bursting out like a bomb, sending the entity back a bit. His body splitting into two, forming several clones.
Bam! Without delay the about a hundred clones shot forward, with the scythe in hand. Charging straight at the entity who didn’t also stay idle. Blurring from spot, appearing in front of the clones.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
The entity moved fast, swinging it’s dark claw like hands frantically. Parts if the black goo forming several other weapons. Plunged at he clones.
Gulp. They’re more terrifying than me in my demon form. Kyle gulped feeling the sheer dominating aura emitting from the entity. It was omnious with an ice cold chilling effect. Stunning nearby enemies just in time for the creature to strike.
Roar! The creature roared in pain feeling it’s left hand severed by a clone. Opening it’s mouth wide, it chomped down on the clone head. Beheading it with blood spraying everywhere.
The severed hand moving with life, connecting with the goo joining back to it’s socket.
