Chapter 153: Hyung, did you get hurt?
Okay, so there’s one topic that’s been on my mind for quite some time now.
It’s our height difference.
What was the author thinking? I mean, I know Omegas are meant to be feminine, but why the hell did I have to be 170 cm tall, no, short? I was definitely short, and the rest were over 193?
I mean, sure, Min-Cheol was 182, but he’s got a great build, and he’s still growing too. Who knows how much taller he’ll be in a year or two? He would definitely get taller but it doesn’t look like I’m gonna grow at all in this damn body.
I was stuck.
They say a person stops growing at the age of 25. Sigh, I guess this is it for me. Unless a miracle happens, I don’t think I’ll ever grow muscles on my chest or at least increase one to two centimeters in height. I’m done for.
Sigh.
But I could at least wear shoes with high soles to fool others’ eyes, hehe. That makes me feel a whole lot better, though it still feels unfair.
Now, back to where we stopped. The reason I brought this up was to make you all understand how Seo-Jun was able to easily peek into the space between my top and my back without being too noticeable.
He was simply that taller than me.
"What happened there?" Seo-Jun asked, looking at me seriously and the others looked at him, confused.
What was he on about?
"There’s... Nothing." I said, feigning ignorance.
"Are you lying to me right now?" He asked and I felt chills run down my spine.
He was looking at me with such cold haze and a strict interrogation tone that made it hard for me to spill one more lie.
It was as if my lips were sealed.
’What is this? Why does he care?’
I glanced towards the others.
If it were either of the two, I’d understand their reaction, but why was Seo-Jun, who didn’t exactly care for my well-being, so interested in this?
"Hyung, did you get hurt?" I heard Min-Cheol ask but he did not close the distance between us and Jin-Yeok too.
It looked like they were still listening to Seo-Jun’s words about giving me space even at a time like this.
This was good. If they didn’t see it then they wouldn’t worry for no reason.
"No, it’s nothing," I said and this caused Seo-Jun to frown bitterly. "I only stayed under the hot water for too long. That’s why it looks like that." I said to him.
"Then why is it just that spot? Why ain’t the rest of your body like that?" He asked and I was sure he had seen it properly. He wasn’t just making guesses?
"Well, that..." I tilted my head a bit, sweat dripping from the corner of my face. How was I going to explain this? "It’s how I take my showers."
"Bullshit!" He exclaimed and I flinched.
He wasn’t gonna let out, was he?
"It’s really nothing to worry about, master. I’m fine." I said to him and this caused him to stop and think for a second.
’Worry?’
I read the complex expression on his face, but I didn’t know how well I was doing since this man was the kind whose thoughts weren’t easy to understand.
’Am I worried about him?’
My eyes widened and I turned away, gasping dryly to avoid his notice. Ah, I think I saw something I shouldn’t have?
"Hyung," I heard Min-Cheol call out.
He looked at me as if he wanted to cry.
"Are you hurt, Hyung?"
He had his hands together as if in prayer but they were interlocked as he looked at me with pleading eyes.
He was such an adorable kid. I’d hate to worry him.
"It’s fine, Little Min." I waved his worry aside, smiling at him. It was just a little sting.
If I applied a bit of scalding cream to prevent it from scalding then it was fine.
"Jo-Pil, are you sure?" I heard Jin-Yeok ask.
He was looking rather serious, his brows knitted. He was worried and that was why he looked so serious.
"Even if it’s just a little bit, if there’s something wrong, you have to tell us so we can prevent it from becoming a big issue later."
You’re the ones making it a big issue now.
I’m fine. I’m definitely fine.
"Jeez, you guys are simply wasting the time at this point." I said and started pushing them towards the bathroom door. "I said I’m fine. I just need to relax. The only care I need right now is that of a masseur or a masseuse. I need to have my body taken care of by a professional, that’s all."
"Your body..." Min-Cheol turned his head towards me in shock.
"Taken care of..." Jin-Yeok did the same.
"By a professional?" Seo-Jun had this knowing smirk on his lips.
Seriously, were they misinterpreting my words right now?
"You know what I mean!" I said, frantically swinging my arms. "Don’t start thinking weirdly."
"You’re the one with the weird thoughts." Seo-Jun said and shoved his fingers through his hair with his other hand on his waist.
Ah, where did I put my phone?
"Don’t make things up." I said as I threw my face away.
"Say that after you wipe the drool off your lips." He said and I quickly cleaned my mouth but had him laughing. "Gotcha."
My body trembled.
Jeez, these men were causing my blood to boil in excitement and anticipation for what may never come. I didn’t want to commit a sin. I didn’t want to... Fall for their temptation either.
I needed the strength to stand my ground no matter what they did, or however they came at me.
"Jo-Pil," Seo-Jun called and I raised my head. "It’s dangerous to hide it." He said, which caused my eyebrows to raise.
Was he seriously worrying about me?
I didn’t hear any more from him as he made his way into the bathroom with the rest, who each glanced at me one more time before heading in.
I sighed in relief and dropped my body on the couch.
Maybe I could get a scalding cream when I went to get a massage later. Yeah, that’s what I’ll do.
