Trapped In A Novel As The Breeding Mate For Four Powerful Alphas -
Chapter 145: Oh, fancy meeting you here
Chapter 145: Oh, fancy meeting you here
Ahem, so when I said I wanted to go shopping, I don’t believe I mentioned the name, ’Seo-Jun’ in that plan.
It was meant to be a date, right? That was what Min-Cheol wanted. A day out with just me and him.
But then why the hell was there a golden-haired, red-eyed, handsome devil named Sun Seo-Jun behind us?
It just didn’t make sense.
And he was flirting with the people in the store, too. Could he be any more shameless?
I bit my thumb in contempt. This was not how I wanted my day to go.
’It seems I made a mistake answering Min-Cheol while Seo-Jun was there. I just didn’t expect he would follow us here and shamelessly call it a coincidence.’
I watched him wink at the sales lady and felt cringe. He was a flirt, a shameless one.
"Hyung, look at this," Min-Cheol said as he pointed at the show glass exhibiting various jewelry.
They were all sparkling, beautiful, and hella expensive.
The zeros were so long.
Were those real diamonds?
"You like expensive things, right?" He asked, still smiling brightly. He didn’t even bat an eye at the amount of zeros there.
Well, rich people were in their own league after all.
"Yes, can I have them?" I asked, and Seo-Jun glanced toward us.
He watched us and I was sure he had a plan in his mind as he suddenly started approaching.
He stood next to us, staring at the diamond rings and moissanite bracelets.
"Wow, that looks nice. I’ll take all of it." He said and my mouth fell in disbelief.
Did he just...? How could he?
So, he did not just plan to intrude on our date but also make trouble?
Typical Seo-Jun.
"What do you think you’re doing?" Min-Cheol asked. "Can’t you see we were about to buy it?"
"Oh, really? You guys were so slow at looking at it that I thought you were still contemplating. I decided to buy it anyway since they’re pretty." He said with his nonchalant and provoking gaze.
Ah, it’s called appreciating beauty, moron.
I was angry but I didn’t want him to get to me. This was probably what he was after.
After staying quiet for a few days, he decided on a way to get to me. But I wasn’t so quick to anger.
He’d have to try harder.
"What do you need all of them for anyway?" Min-Cheol asked but Seo-Jun shrugged his shoulders.
"Why do you care? Irs my business." He said and glanced at me. "I have a lot of people I could give this to." He glanced away. I’ll probably just give a piece to each of them."
I frowned. Yeah, he could do whatever he wanted. Even if he wanted to get gifts for his plentiful lovers, I didn’t care.
"It’s alright, Little Min." I said to Min-Cheol, hoping to calm his rage. "I still haven’t worn the bracelet you got me so it’s not like I need more." I smiled at him and this got Seo-Jun’s eyebrow lightly twitch.
He was annoyed, I could tell. And I hoped he hit his head with that annoyance because only then would my anger subside but my wishes didn’t come true, unfortunately.
I looked around the shop once more.
The manager was on standby, sweat dripping down his face and frantically cleaning his face from time to time as he felt so much pressure serving two of the most reputable Alphas.
If they find anything dissatisfying in the store, then they may go out of business.
Their store sold the best out of the best of everything fashion-related according to the reviews I saw, and coincidentally, it was one of Jin-Yeok’s many stores in the country, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Jin-Yeok suddenly walked into this store and said it was a coincidence that he ran into us.
Welp, I think I became a prophet, because the moment I thought of that, Jin-Yeok walked in and said the exact same words I thought he would say.
"Oh, fancy meeting you here. This is such a coincidence." He said, his eyes brimming with mischief and I palmed my face.
As if. Jin-Yeok, I like you, but don’t you think this is a bit unfair for Min-Cheol? Huh? Have some conscience. It was our first date.
Sigh.
So long, date. This outing was now a four-man outing for sure.
The manager looked like he was going to have a heart attack any second. Not only were two reputable Alphas there but their big boss was there as well.
Was he there to check on things? Was he there to check the sales records and the ledger? This was just too overwhelming for him.
"What are you doing here?" Seo-Jun asked as if he had the right to ask that question.
"I think I should be asking you that question," Jin-Yeok responded and I nodded.
We’d all like to know, seriously.
Seo-Jun clicked his tongue and turned away from him since he knew he wouldn’t get anything from bickering with Jin-Yeok.
Jin-Yeok laughed softly and turned to me with that bright and charming smile. He was putting up that innocent front since we were outside.
"I was doing a routine check on the stores in this area," he said but I ended up rolling my eyes.
Yeah, tell me something I don’t know.
"Were you enjoying your shopping spree, Jo-Pil?" He asked but I sighed.
"Sadly, I haven’t seen anything that caught my eye," I said. "And the only thing that actually did catch my hair, Master Sun just happened to like it and buy it from under our nose." I smiled dryly.
"You didn’t see anything else that caught your eye?" He asked and then glanced at the manager who began to sweat buckets once more. "How so?"
"Don’t get me wrong, everything’s impressive but I guess I’m just not feeling it today."
I was excited to go shopping and spend a lot of Min-Cheol’s money, but it seemed like I lost that vigor ever since I laid my eyes on Seo-Jun walking in through the door. And even more so after he bought what I liked.
He might repeat the same stunt when I found something I liked again so I’d rather not give him that privilege to get the best out of me.
"That’s unfortunate," he said.
"It’s alright." I said, smiling at him. "Your shop is very impressive, by the way. Everything is just so unique, and screaming wealth, haha." I laughed softly. "Maybe next time, when I’m in a better mood, I’ll visit once more."
"I’d welcome you myself then." Jin-Yeok said, smiling softly at me and for a moment, it looked like we were lost in our own world, forcing Min-Cheol to intervene.
"Then, Hyung, since shopping didn’t go as planned, should we go somewhere else?"
