Matthias panicked when he saw his wife suddenly unconscious. He immediately stopped playing and then carried his wife’s body to her room. For the first time he saw his wife faint, it certainly made him very scared. Although all this time his wife’s memories slowly returned, she had never fainted. While now because he played his wife’s favorite instrument, he actually surprised his wife to the point of fainting. Was this a sign that he was not allowed to play the piano anymore from now on?

Matthias had been waiting for half an hour until his wife woke up, her eyes were getting more teary and she kept saying apologies because he acted rashly. Indirectly he was too selfish to force his wife to love him quickly when in fact he meant to comfort his wife who was tired from work.

Suddenly his wife’s eyes slowly opened. He looked at his wife enthusiastically while touching the back of her hand.

"Victoria, does your head still hurt?"

Victoria shook her head slowly while massaging her temples. "What actually happened to me?"

"You fainted while I was playing the piano." Matthias bowed his head in resignation. "I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have played the instrument for you."

A bright smile adorned her face. Her right hand stroked her husband’s head slowly. "I actually really like that instrument. You play it very beautifully."

Matthias lifted his head slowly. "But why did you faint if you liked it? Did I do something wrong?"

Slowly Victoria positioned her body sitting leaning on the bed. "I think I fainted because I was shocked. Suddenly my memory came back when you were playing the piano. In my memory, there was a man playing the same instrument as you. I sat with him and I also played the piano."

Matthias was actually very happy to hear his wife’s memories keep coming back as time went by. Moreover, all the memories that came back were beautiful memories with her. However, he deliberately pretended not to know anything because he was worried that his wife would faint again.

His lips landed on her cheek for a few seconds. "I told you not to push yourself too hard! I’m more worried about you now. I’m afraid you’ll faint again."

Her eyes narrowed hearing her husband’s exaggerated words. "Am I that weak?"

"Because if you faint, it can be said that the problem you are experiencing is very serious."

"Matthias, thank you for worrying too much about me. But I’m really fine now."

"For now, just rest. Don’t do too much activity."

"Then what about my job?"

"You can continue that tomorrow. Besides, I didn’t force you to work, did I?"

"But-"

"I will accompany you here." Matthias quickly sat down next to his wife.

While Victoria just laughed softly while looking at her husband. "It can be concluded, it seems like you are too lazy to work."

"I am too lazy to work because of my wife."

Victoria hit her husband’s arm repeatedly. "You lazy CEO! Okay, then I have to go back to work so you can work hard."

Honestly, Matthias felt that his wife’s attitude was getting sweeter to him. If no one destroyed their relationship like Anton again, then his relationship with his wife would grow rapidly. He really liked his wife’s attitude now, even though last night he was hated by his wife.

"Matthias, can I ask you something?"

"What do you want to ask?"

"How did you become so good at playing the piano, let alone being so good at playing that instrument?"

"Actually, I was inspired by someone. That person really likes that instrument. Especially when her mind is in chaos, she really likes to hear that instrument."

Victoria nodded. "I really like it, especially since you played it when I was tired. But it was a shame I fainted earlier."

"But, if you feel uncomfortable, I don’t want to play the instrument anymore."

"Don’t! You have to keep playing the instrument according to your heart’s desire!"

Matthias moved his lips closer to his wife’s. "Okay, since my wife likes it so much. I’ll play with it when I’m not busy."

"If you were invited to an important event, I’m sure you wouldn’t be known as a handsome and perfectionist CEO, but your skill in playing the piano would also add to your reputation as the most reliable pianist."

"Actually, this is the first time I’ve heard a bit of excessive praise."

Victoria’s cheeks felt warm as she said it without thinking. She actually didn’t expect to be able to praise her most hated husband, even though she had always been determined not to praise her husband in anything. Was this a sign that she was starting to like her husband?

After talking with her husband for quite a while, Victoria went back to rest again. Actually, she wanted to go back to work, but because her husband was very protective now, she was forced to obey him.

Not only Victoria was fast asleep, Matthias was also asleep on the chair in front of the bed. Although Matthias could actually attack his wife secretly, he chose to hold back his desires rather than ruin their relationship because of his selfishness.

Suddenly, an old woman’s voice was heard screaming, making Victoria wake up from her dream world. Moreover, the old woman shouted Matthias’ name, making Victoria even more panicked now. As far as she could remember, Matthias’ parents hated her until now, and even worse, she was sleeping in Matthias’ room now. If Matthias’ mother found out about her existence, she would die.

She quickly got out of bed, then pulled her husband’s hand, waking him up.

"Victoria, what are you–"

"There’s no time to explain anymore!"

Hearing his mother’s loud scream, Matthias immediately pushed his wife’s body on the bed and also his body lay down quickly. His hands immediately wrapped their bodies using the blanket and positioned their legs on top of each other.

Conditions inside the blanket, Victoria accidentally fell on Matthias’ body making it difficult for his eyes to blink and cold sweat continued to pour down his neck. While Matthias still had an innocent expression, his thumb rubbed the red lips that continued to tease him.

"Victoria, it looks like you’re really on top of me."
