"Don’t dawdle Meili, I am barely listening." They arrived at the treatment area on the submarine.

It was like a mini hospital with everything one would need in an actual hospital. Even an area for conducting operations.

She located Muyang in one of the treatment rooms, it was not sealed off and the door was open. Even before she reached him, she could see the red bruises on his body. His lower body was covered with a blanket but his bare chest was exposed. He was laying down on a bed, and an IV tube was attached to right his hand. On his arms were red scratches, a part of his abdomen was bandaged but she could see small spots of red over the top. There was another bandage over his left eye, the one which T4 had said was useless now.

She gasped and covered her mouth, holding back the sobs and wail of anguish which wanted to escape from the depths of her very core.

Slowly, she walked towards the bed, with her legs shaking.

"Oh Muyang!!" She gasped and touched his arm. "Oh God!" She let out a small sob.

Behind her, the old master clutched his chest and stumbled but the triplets were quick to catch him.

"Grandfather." Ringo said, very concerned.

"I am okay." The old master in a small, shaky and pained voice. He looked like he had aged ten more years in a few seconds.

Chi Lian was sobbing by Muyang’s bed, loudly, not bothering to hide her immense pain.

All the brothers watched from the side, with a plethora of emotions on their faces like anger, regret and pain.

"What happened?" The old master directed approached the robot butler who was dressed in a white doctor’s gown.

"Most of the injuries are superficial but unfortunately, I can’t say the same for his left eye. It was damaged beyond repair, we had to extract it entirely_"

The walking stick in the old master’s hand fell down and he clutched his chest again.

"You_, you!" He said, stammering over his words and breathing heavily.

"Grandfather!!" The triplets hurried to hold him, "please calm down, Muyang is still lying on that bed. You cannot fall down now, please."

The old master pointed a shaky index finger at the doctor, "Your brother."

"I heard." Ringo said.

They had all heard the doctor loud and clear when he said that Muyang’s eye had been extracted. That bandage covering his left eye was protecting an empty and hollow socket.

"How could this happen?" One of the triplets asked.

"This wasn’t the plan." Another said.

"This is fucked up!!, we should get him to a hospital immediately, a real hospital. We don’t know this doctor’s expertise, we should seek a seek another opinion" the third said.

"On what exactly?" Ringo asked him, shouting loudly. "You heard the doctor, the eye was extracted already, do you think that there is special glue to put it back inside?"

"He can’t just stay here, look where we are? We are in the middle of fuckin nowhere, how is he supposed to get the right treatment?" The first triplet shouted at Ringo, and he strode into the treatment room with the intention of pulling the IV from Muyang’s hand and transporting him back to the capital. In his head, he thought, fuck the mission, my brother comes first.

"Don’t touch anything." Chi Lian said, in a cold voice.

The voice was one he heard last when they were searching for the children.

"My people are not unprofessional or careless to do something like fail to save Muyang’s eye, it was already too late by the time he got here. You can ask Meili all about it."

Ringo was the first to look at Meili with many questions in his eyes. Why were you there? How did you get there?

After saying that, Chi Lian had gone back to looking at Muyang with sad eyes. He was unconscious because of the medicine he had been given.

She touched his hair and held his hand. And then, she rubbed her cheek against that hand and kissed it the way he usually did to her.

"It’s okay Yang-Yang, I will fix this. When you wake up, everything will be as possibly normal as it can be."

The old master was talking to Ringo, they were making plans to announce that Muyang had been found, he was injured and receiving treatment.

"I will take his place and complete the rest of the mission." Ringo said.

Chi Lian still heard them and she turned her head around and said loudly, "Grandfather, he can’t be moved right now. He needs to undergo an operation."

The old master and others were surprised, what operation was she talking about?

"What do you mean?" Ringo asked her.

"His eye, my husband is getting a new right now." She declared. "Doctor, do you have it?"

The doctor nodded. What she asking was if he had the bionic eye which T4 had sent directly to the submarine.

"Wait a minute," Ringo tugged on the doctors gown. "You can’t just operate on my brother without explaining the details. Operations are risky, his legal guardian needs to sign_"

"I am his guardian brother-in-law." She said. "Just as he is mine."

Ringo folded his lips and then he loosened them and said, "Fine, but an operation needs a well equipped hospital. The rest of the family needs to be told, our parents and grandmother should be there."

"You speak as if he is going to die." She said, in that cold voice still, with an angry look on her face.

"Chi-Chi, that is not what he means." The old master said. "An operation is a serious thing."

The triplets looked from one side to the other, listening as three people argued or expressed differing points on what was good for Muyang or not.

"He is getting a bionic eye, grandfather, it’s different from anything that you have ever seen. This doctor you see is the only one in the world that can safely operate on Muyang and allow him to live a normal life. Grandfather, trust me, I want the best for Muyang just as much as you do." Maybe even more, she thought.

The grandson’s looked at the grandfather, asking him what should be done next with their eyes.

The old master was confused but he wanted so desperately to believe in Chi Lian’s words. If they took Muyang to a normal hospital, what would they do over there to improve his situation?

Would they give him a new eye and ensure that he lived a normal life? Or would he be given an eye patch and sent home?

Chi-Chi always had amazing technologies and the people who worked for her were also usually experts at their jobs. She loved Muyang, he was sure of that. Most importantly, she was his guardian and according to the law, she had the authority to make decisions regarding his health.

"Do as you wish, Chi-Chi. Please, Just make sure that he survives this." He said.
