Chapter 469: Time to handle our business princess

Chi Lian and T4 had developed a rapport over time, she said what she wanted and he acquired it and sent it to her storage space. So when she said that she intended to make Wusi lose his vocal abilities, he sent the necessary serum to her storage .

She searched around briefly in her bag and took out a small black vial whose contents could not be seen. Then she extracted it with a syringe and she flicked it twice like a nurse.

On the ground, Wusi wiggled like a maggot, his eyes wide and scared but he could not get away from her.

Chi Lian looked at the princess and asked her, "Has he given you everything that pertains to me."

"Yes." the princess nodded.

"Are you sure?" she asked him twice.

"Yes, I made sure of it." she replied.

Chi Lian squatted down after receiving the princess’s assurance and she injected the serum into Wusi’s throat. "Now our secret is safe." she told him.

"He can still write, why don’t you just get rid of the nuisance already?" T4 asked her.

"Oh," Chi Lian made a surprised face, "You can still write, if I leave you like this you could write a letter and send it to the Fisher or Rollins family. Looks like your thumbs might need to go."

Wusi shook his head desperately, regretting with all his heart the decision which had led him down this path. In his mind he had assumed that she was still the naïve and foolish girl she used to be. When he saw the news about her wealth online he had been momentarily jealous. They had both been struggling in their university days, why was she so lucky that she turned her life around while he slaved away as a personal photographer for a princess with a prissy attitude? So he mentioned her to the princess as the solution to her problem and she had offered him a big reward in the sum of eight hundred thousand dollars. How could he have known that she had turned into a demon after a few years? He would not even get to enjoy the money that he had made?

Unfortunately for Wusi, this Chi Lian was not willing to take risks or be forgiving tonight. She broke his thumbs, stood up and dusted her hands.

She then looked at the princess and issued some orders, "Use the money you paid him to treat him and the rest of it can pay a caretaker that will take care of him for the rest of his life. Find an isolated area, in a county and keep him there, I want regular updates on his condition you already have my contact after all."

The princess nodded eagerly.

"Now, what do you want from me? I can’t kill you because if a princess dies there will be an investigation. If I include your guards it’s the same thing, in fact they will look harder because it will resemble a targeted assassination and some people saw me leaving with your bodyguard so they could mention me. Then there is the issue of your right hand which has been tightly holding on to the bracelet on your left arm. I am guessing that it’s an alarm which will send a signal in a moment of panic and the troops will come fully armed to rescue you. There is probably the small matter too of you probably informing a confidant of yours about me and why you are meeting me so if something goes wrong that person will release my information to your father. I am actually impressed because you could have alerted them earlier but you did not. So, instead of doing things the hard way I will trade my secret for yours. You did not ask to meet me secretly because you like my pretty face, you want something."

She could see the vivid look of relief on the face of the princess.

"Yes, Yes, she agreed immediately, I want something from you, I will keep your secret for the rest of my life as long as you can help me."

"What do you want?" Chi Lian asked her.

The princess pushed the young girl forward, "Take her, I need you to take her out of the country and never bring her back. Please, she cannot stay here anymore."

The girl in question was scared, tearful and overweight for her age which Chi Lian could deduce to be between eleven and thirteen. Her fists were clenched tightly, holding on to her clothes as if they were her only source of comfort.

"Who is she?" Chi Lian asked.

"My daughter." The princess said. Chi Lian was surprised and she raised her eyebrows. Nowhere was it recorded that the princess had a child, the latest information about her in fact was that she was getting married. "When I was sixteen, I had a dalliance with a boy, one that did not fit in with our family standards. I thought the relationship was a secret but one day my father sent his secretary to order me to end it. I was a teenager in love so I said no, what could he do about it anyway?

I was wrong because my father ended it, I never saw the boy again. And a few months later I discovered that I was pregnant. You can’t imagine the fear I endured, my life would be over if my parents found out. A pregnant teenage princess is not a good look for the family. But I loved my child, it was the proof of love between me and him so I hid my pregnancy. I went away for a camp and had my baby and when we returned we told everyone that it was my personal attendants child because if my family knew, she would end up dead or disappeared.

She has lived a very sheltered life of an ordinary girl, I only told the truth about her birth yesterday because my father arranged a marriage for me to a Russian oligarch’s son. It’s the duty of every member of the royal family to contribute and my contribution is a marriage to the son of a high standing official in an empire which has always been at odds with ours." She laughed dryly, as if she was devoid of life and she had surrendered to her fate. "I wanted to take her with me but we have a problem, the older she grows the more she resembles me. Her eyes are like mine, her nose and her hair. We have been keeping her hidden but It won’t work anymore. The family I am marrying into is very obsessed with bloodlines, they will know the second they set eyes on her and then everything will go to hell."

"Can’t your attendant move with her to a small town? You can also dye her hair and use contact lenses for her eyes." Chi Lian said all the things off the top of her head which could help rather than dumping the child on a stranger. What in the world had Wusi said that convinced the princess that she could take on this responsibility?

"No." The princess clutched Chi Lian’s arm and desperately pleaded, "You have to take her."
