Chapter 384: Girls night out.

She went home, changed her outfit and met Xue Lili, Long Rize, Jian Yu, the big chef and Yifei at the go karting place Muyang took her and little Monk to.

She found her friends standing outside and waiting for her. While the others welcomed her with smiles and hugs, Rize did something else.

"I heard that you were banned from this place." Rize said.

Chi Lian snorted and said, "I was temporarily thrown out, not banned."

"Potatoe-Potato, it’s all the same thing. Yichen has a big mouth you know and he said that you were thrown out for reckless driving."

Chi Lian folded her arms defensively and copied Zimo’s cute pout. "I was not driving recklessly." she replied. "I was driving speedily, there is a very big difference."

Her friends were rubbing their hands together because the weather outside was snowing and cold.

"Can we go in already? It’s freezing out here." Lili complained.

"Let’s go." Chi Lian shouted energetically.

The six women went inside but only Chi Lian was excited. Yifei was worried because she knew what a speed nut Chi Lian was by now. She hoped that they would not have to share a kart like they shared that sled.

"I brought snacks in this bag." the big announced.

"Isn’t that a diaper bag?" Xue Lili questioned her.

"What do you have in there?" Yifei crooned her neck and stared at the diaper bag as if she had x-ray eyes that could see inside.

"You name it I have it." The big chef boasted.

"Wagyu steak." Rize said.

The big chef lost her boastful look. "I said snacks not a five course meal." she mumbled.

While Rize smirked over her small but unnecessary victory over the big chef, Chi Lian was vibrating with the same excitement T4 had when he wanted the pink macaron.

Just when she was about to suggest that each get a kart, Lili suggested that they get a table on the side of the ring which had adults and no children which gave them the opportunity to order some alcohol to go with the snacks.

"I like this place," Rize said.

"It looks like it’s a fun place to bring children." Lili commented.

"No kid conversation tonight ladies, we are here as grown women to get drunk and celebrate our friend Chi-Chi officially getting engaged." The big chef raised her glass so that they could toast.

"I am not getting drunk." Lili said. "And how can we avoid kid talk if three of us here have kids?"

The big chef groaned and banged her head against the table.

"I was promised a fun girls night out, not a my baby poops green stuff night out." she mumbled.

Chi Lian snickered at the big chef’s plight. She was a young childless woman. Of course she assumed that babies pooped green stuff.

"Aren’t you dating Tao Yichen?" Rize asked the big chef. "I am sure his grandfather is demanding for grandchildren so unless you are serious about him I suggest you end the relationship."

"I am not dating Yichen...well we have not defined what we are yet." the big chef responded.

"Oooh." the women simultaneously replied.

"What?" she asked.

"Leave her alone," Chi Lian told the rest. "She has every right to take her time and make a decision which is right for her."

Yifei looked at Chi Lian as if she were crazy. "You want her to take her time with the one of the empire’s most wanted bachelors. Are you drunk already?"

Chi Lian rolled her eyes. "We are here to race those go karts not discuss relationships." she stated.

"Yeahhhh....." Rize said slowly. "About that."

Chi Lian had this sinking feeling in her gut that had been prodding her all night because her friends were so relaxed and snacking while sipping wine comfortably.

"You guys don’t want to race, do you?"

Her friends all had different replies which were basically the same thing.

"No."

"Nope."

"I hate speed."

If they didn’t like racing, why come here in the first place? She went on to ask them that exact question.

"Why did you agree to come here then?"

Rize rolled her head around and replied, "Because you and Muyang are getting your marriage certificates the day after your engagement banquet so this is the closest you are coming to a bachelorette party."

"Until she decides to have a real wedding anyway." Yifei added.

"I just wanted to hung out with you. You have become extremely busy lately and now that we are moving out of the building I will see you even less." Lili answered.

"Oh my God, we are moving across the road, why is everyone whining and moaning as if we are moving to another city?" Jian Yu finally said something after a very long silence.

She was wearing a disguise. On her head was a black wig with a fringe and her face was covered with a mask.

"You are not one of the office workers in the company so you will not understand." Lili said and she sighed.

Chi Lian thought to herself that if this was her bachelorette party then it was quickly going downhill. They were in a fun place and her friends wanted to sit and discuss relationships!!!!! These were brunch conversations.

"This is bumming me out, I am going to race go karts."

The minute she stepped away, her friends placed different amounts of money on the table.

"I bet ten minutes." Jian Yu said unhappily.

"I bet thirty minutes, dammit, I lost." Yifei complained.

"I had fifty minutes, gimme my money." Rize laughed.

They were not interested in go karting but just like most good friends, when she was racing , they were cheering her on really loudly.

A few fans were courageous enough to approach the princess for autographs. She smiled and smiled them, even taking a few pictures.

Of course, twenty minutes later Chi Lian could not resist the urge to tempt fate and go over the required speed limit.

She was thrown out and given a second warning. All of her friends had no option but to follow her and find a new place to continue their girls night out.

It did not surprise her to see money swapping hands again as they had bet on how long it would take her to be thrown out.

Yifei won the bet this time round.

"Sorry friend, you can’t help yourself." she told her.

"Hmph," Chi Lian pouted and pretended to be angry.

In reality she didn’t care about their little bets because they brought the group of unlikely friends closer. Under normal circumstances, a princess like Rize would never be friends with a masseuse like Yifei or someone talkative like the big chef and yet right now, they were laughing and chatting like long term friends.

"Where should we go next, the night is still young." Rize looked at the other women and waited for suggestions.

"Who wants to go dancing?" The big chef shouted.
