"If she does anything that points to her as being the killer even once, take a picture with the drone. In fact, start taking pictures of her right now." she ordered T4.

After reading Muyang’s message, she was in a hurry to get out of this town. She needed to finish this mission right now; if possible, she needed to be home by tonight. They could not rescue her baby without her.

"Host, if you want to beat others to the news, now is the time to inform your reporters about this discovery. And those men who were following you have finally made it to the hotel you are staying in. They are not sure if you are there but have bribed a receptionist to check the hotel records and see if you are guest."

"Right, phoenix media needs to cover the story first." She pulled her phone out and called Wenli. She asked her to send out the best reporters and news camera crew they had because there was a shocking story to cover. She had no plans of returning to that particular hotel because Piggy had made the original reservation under her name. If she returned, those men would know. Just why were they so determined to follow her?

She looked at the men in the room and said, we need to move right now. I asked my friend to track Hu Dieshang’s phone and it shows that she is on the move in the woods near a lake. I have a bad feeling about this, we need to get there as soon as possible." She said urgently.

"What, I have to call the others." Li Tao quickly reached for his phone and started dialing..

Chi Lian nodded her head indicating no to Piggy and he held Li Tao’s hand to stop him.

"What are you doing?" Li Tao asked in a wary voice.

"No police." Chi Lian said dead serious. "Not now anyway, we don’t have anything to prove our suspicions, just a few theories. I would hate to come out of this looking like a fool in case we are wrong. We are just going to tail her for a while and see what she is up to. If she tries to kill anyone or dispose of a body, then we can involve the police."

"But..." Li Tao wanted to complain.

"Keep in mind that you are no longer a detective Mr. Tao. If we are wrong and you involve your former colleagues this will be the last time they believe you or involve you in this case." She voiced a reminder that was also a threat.

Chi Lian knew that she was being selfish but this was her big reveal. How could others beat her to it? It would be like laying out a red carpet for others after doing all the work.

The woods are an hour and some minutes away, "Let’s just go and hope we are not too late by then." She said.

They all left the house quickly and this time round, Squirrel happily stepped on that gas pedal without receiving any complaints from anyone.

In the car, Chi Lian could not keep her mind on the killer; all she wanted to know was what Muyang had discovered. If Mu Qingzi had been found, did that mean her son had been found as well? She was anxious to leave this town, if only time could speed up so that she could accomplish the mission already.

"Squirrel, speed up." She ordered.

"Boss, he is already going very fast. At this rate the police will be alerted and come after us." Piggy said out of concern. If they were in prison for over speeding, they would not be able to catch the killer.

"We have him, if the police comes after us he can explain." She pointed at Li Tao. "You said you still have friends on the police force, right?" she asked him.

"I do, but I am not sure we should take advantage..." Li Tao was still talking when someone cut him off.

"Squirrel, step on it already." Piggy shouted sternly, "Why are you so slow?’ he complained.

Li Tao looked at the young man Piggy who was full of double standards. How could he change his mind so fast?

Squirrel was not one to think twice, on a road whose maximum speed was seventy kilometers per hour; he was driving at one hundred kilometers.

"Host, she has arrived at the edge of the woods." T4 informed her.

Once again, she wanted to tell Squirrel to step on it. Part of her regretted coming with them, if she had used her bike she would be there already. She looked at the watch on her hand, a silver watch with three tiny diamonds at the base. After Sally figuring out her identity from the watch, she was now more careful. She did not want anything that connected her to her real identity on her body.

"We are thirteen minutes out and still we are late." She mumbled.

"Host, she is almost at the cabin."

At this point, t4’s updates were more irritating than she cared to admit. No matter how much he updated her every few seconds, she could not fly there. All she could do was sit in the back of the car and resist the urge to bite her nails.

When they reached the place where Hu Dieshang had parked her car, Chi Lian took off running in the direction that she confidently knew she had gone off to leaving the men to run after her with confusion in their hearts.

How did she know which direction to run to? Despite the many questions in their minds, they did not stop for fear of falling behind.

Chi Lian run with only one thing on her mind, finishing the mission. A tree branch scratched her hand but she did not notice or stop. Only when she was close to the cabin did she finally stop. She quickly squatted down and took out a pair of binoculars and her stun gun just in case.

"T4, what is going on in there?" she asked because she could not see what was happening inside the cabin.

"She is ranting something about a fire and lies. She is speaking incoherently so I can’t make out some of the things she is saying. She looks extremely manic host, you should be careful. In this state, she could injure you."

"Is the person in the cabin alive?" she asked.

"I can detect a heartbeat but it’s faint. If you plan to save that person you need to come up with a plan very quickly."

The men finally reached her, Piggy first and then Squirrel. Li Tao was older; he was not as fast as the others so he had yet to reach.

"Boss, how are you so fast?" Piggy asked while he was panting like a thirsty dog.

"Shhhh." She placed her index finger at her mouth and then waved her hand up and down, asking them to be quiet and squat down.

They did so and looked at her with puzzled gazes so she pointed at the cabin and whispered "In there."

Li Tao arrived, panting as well and sweating like an overworked horse. He bent own with his hands on his knees. "Fast, so fast..." he said in between breaths.

This time round, it was not Chi Lian but Piggy and Squirrel who said "Shhhh." and asked him to squat alongside them.

"What is it?" Li Tao asked curiously. What had he missed?
