Dean Laroix was very confused with the behavior of the Su/Wu family. They had come in a large group to support one of their own and yet they were engaged in personal conversations.

What were they discussing here that they could not talk about at home?

He didn’t really care as long as they didn’t distract anyone however something was said which caused Scarlet to gasp and all heads in the group turned to the third princess.

Curiosity got the better of the dean and he used his mental strength to eavesdrop just a little bit. He planned to send them out of they were speaking nuisance.

The first voice he heard, was that of the crown prince.

"When was a decision on your marriage taken without my knowledge? I thought we agreed that you will not be marrying away from our home planet."

"Our father is the emperor brother. He doesn’t need your permission to marry me off. I was lucky enough to escape marriage into the Lunar federation but I don’t know how long my luck will endure.

Sooner or later, another offer for my hand will come along. What if it’s from an empire like Todra?"

A few people gasped including the dean. His gasp caused the other teachers to look at him curiously.

Dean Laroix smiled and nodded, pointing to Justin with approval in his eyes.

He resumed his serious face however and he pretended that all of his focus was on Justin when it wasn’t.

Dean Laroix was a secret gossip and whatever he heard, he often shared with his wife when he went home at night. He was a secret member of the I hate Severus club, a big fan of Scarlet and he always gave her gifts in her live broadcasts. He also enjoyed Esong’s shenanigans with his friends during their school days. Not that he would ever admit any of these things in public.

His ears twitched and he hoped Justin’s virtual battle did not end so soon because he wanted to enjoy a little more royal gossip.

"Father would never give you to those barbarians." Markay assured the third princess.

"And yet the fourth son of their emperor’s sixteenth wife has sent a gift proposing marriage to me as his tenth wife. My choice of husband from a decent royal family becomes slimmer and slimmer every year that passes. That’s why I have accepted the offer from Terranova." She told him.

"Tenth wife!! how dare they." Markay barked.

"It’s an insult to us." Etienne Wu declared.

"I agree, it’s an insult. How can they expect an imperial princess of our precious planet to be a tenth wife?" Mega said, passionately.

Even dean Laroix clenched his fists and stomped his foot. The Todran’s were surely daring the Sun people to fight them.

"Dean, did he make the wrong move?" one of the teachers asked the dean.

His fists were clenched, his lips were drawn and he looked angry. They didn’t understand why when Justin was excelling and he was on his last battle. To them, he didn’t even need a physical battle to be admitted.

"No, he is excellent. A prodigy that will someday outdo his father and probably break all of his records." The dean answered. "I am concentrating teacher Kong, stop distracting me."

The teacher was not sure if they were concentrating on the same thing but he did as the dean ordered.

Scarlet had no idea who the Todran’s everyone found disgusting were so she went on star net to search for answers. She found a number of images of the Todrans. They were a weird looking species of humans, or alien like humans. They had tiny heads and four arms, very unappealing physically.

"Ho! this is a toad eating swan meat. Our princess is too cute to marry one of these.....these people. Are they people?"

"Maybe not because there is a rumor that they eat human flesh." Elroy said.

"And marry their sisters and brothers." Gregor contributed.

"That’s gross." Scarlet said with a big frown. "Princess, I support you, just marry my friend Frost. He is cute, rich and respectful. His planet is a bit more developed than ours. As long as you can adapt to their cold weather, you will be fine."

Scarlet naturally assumed that she was marrying Frost because he was single and he had no female reaper as a partner. He was also the only prince from Teranova that had been to the Blue star more than once. So, when the third princess mentioned that she was marrying a prince from Teranova, her mind naturally jumped to him.

"I don’t approve of this." Markay blurted.

"What’s not to approve of?" Scarlet asked him.

"It’s not your decision." The third princess said.

"I am the crown prince, my opinion in the matters of all your marriages matters." Markay declared. "He is from a far away planet, you will be a stranger there, the weather is different from ours. You come from a planet that burns hot at least six months a year while it snows in his home everyday. Can they even grow food on their planet? What if you end up starving? You have always had a big appetite, I don’t want to see you becoming as thin as a stick. It’s better if you find a man to marry into our family than go elsewhere." He broke into a rant, stating al his reasons why his sister should not marry a prince from Teranova.

Scarlet was quick to come to the defense of the third princess and Frost. "I don’t hear anything about the man himself. She is marrying a man, not a planet. The princess will marry him whether you approve or not."

"No offense Scarlet but this is between me and my sister so stay out of it." Markay snapped at her.

Carolyn slapped Markay on the back of his head quickly. "Take that back."

Markay frowned and shook his head stubbornly.

"You seem to have forgotten about that one time when you inserted yourself into our family affairs because you were protecting Carolyn." Adler reminded him. "And don’t snap at my sister____, ever."

"Adler." Mega warned.

Agitated, Adler looked in Markay’s direction and asked, "So he can protect his sister but I cannot protect mine?"

"You are all in the wrong here, Markay, Scarlet and Adler. None of you should be speaking like that to each other. Fist of all, the princess is right Markay, her marriage is up to her and the empress.

Scarlet, the marriage of the princess is also none of your business just as it’s not Markay’s business. You can give an opinion but you cannot enforce it.

And lastly, Adler, we are all family here. You should not bring up the past mistakes of Markay. All of you should apologize to each other before you end up ruining an important day for Justin. Those who want to sulk and hold grudges should leave." Very calmly, Etienne Wu pointed out what each of them had done wrong and stared them down, waiting for them to fix their wrongs.
