Scarlet had ended her call with Justin thirty minutes ago and she was dressing up to go and pull answers out of her spies. She was about to step out of the room when she received a call from Fey. She had left Fey on the Blue star to assist Emmett Wu in her absence as he stood in for her as governor.

"Hey, sister, this is crazy. Have you seen what Koko’s mother is doing?" Very loudly, Fey shouted into Scarlet’s ears. "She is on the news right now giving an interview accusing Justin of violently assaulting her daughter. I can’t believe this..."’

Scarlet had a terrible feeling and she pulled the phone away from her ear.

"Alex, show me." she said.

The terminal on her wrist was turned on, news channels scrolled through until it landed on one and projected it in front of Scarlet in hologram form. Fey was right, Koko’s mother was giving an interview to a reporter from the Sun daily and she was all sobs and heartbreak as she spoke.

"He just jumped on her and grabbed her. I thought noble boys at his age are not supposed to associate with girls. My daughter was harassed, he touched her inappropriately."

Scarlet’s face twisted, one side of her mouth moving higher than the other as anger boiled within her threatening to explode like an overheated pressure cooker.

"Sister, what is this crazy cow talking about? Inappropriate touching!! Justin is five years old for fucks sake and Beord said he only tried to cover her mouth. I don’t care about you trying to keep the peace and all, this is gloves off we are fighting this and we are taking this lying bitch down."

Alex jumped in and told her, "Mistress I am filtering multiple calls for you right now from family and friends. Who do you wish to speak to?"

Many holograms popped up in front of her, inclusive was every member of the Su and Wu family, including the empress.

Everyone was talking loudly, they were panicked and in crisis mode.

She stepped away from the camera and teleported herself to the the Blue star, into Koko’s family house. It was empty for now since the whole family had gone out for their press conference.

The cat jumped out from behind one of the flower pots. All gifts from Justin to his friend. Even the plushies in the house, the large volume of snacks and toys. Justin shared a lot of his things with Koko. In fact, Scarlet had noticed that sometimes, Koko didn’t even ask and she just used or took Justin’s things and he let her because she was his best friend.

Scarlet felt her heart break for her son. The friendship between the two children would never be mended thanks to grown ups. She would never allow him to associate with this family.

The cat meowed loudly, very excited to see Scarlet.

"Lucy," she carried it into her arms. "What have they been up to? What did they say about Justin today?"

"The mother accepted money from someone to make him a bad boy." Lucy told her.

She touched the cats head and travelled through it’s memories. From them, she discovered that Koko’s mother had recently made new friends who belonged to a commoner alliance against nobles. Said friends had money and were very wealthy and they convinced her to make a daughter the victim because Justin was noble and nothing would happen to him even if such allegations were made.

"Nothing would happen!!" Scarlet scoffed. What about his reputation? He was supposed to be the next governor of the Blue star. Who would approve of a governor with a harassment claim to his name?

Also, how foolish were Koko’s parents?

Justin was from a royal family. These accusations would be investigated heavily and if found to be false, the entire family would be exiled to the Red star or beheaded.

She teleported out of the house and went to the castle. In grim reaper form, she passed by all of her siblings that were loudly arguing on how to proceed. She found Justin sleeping in his bedroom and she was relieved. At least he was not awake for this mess.

She didn’t know if she should hypnotize him and erase everything to do with Koko from his mind or let it be a teaching moment for him. Maybe the sooner he learned that friends could betray the more careful he would be in future. She soothed him with her powers and teleported back to the capital.

The number of people on the unlimited call had increased. Markay and the emperor had joined in. Even, to Scarlet’s surprise Sader.

She unmuted the call and their loud voices poured into her ears at the same time.

"You have a call from principal Stash." Alex told her.

"Put her on, separate channel." she answered.

The nervous principal appeared in front of Scarlet. "Governor, I have no idea what’s going on. The school will not back these allegations up. Unfortunately the school’s terminals were hacked and all surveillance for the past week was deleted. We called the RGB and their cyber crime team is here trying to retrieve it and trace the hack.

I am so sorry that this happened. I should have kept a better eye on the children. Your son would never do what Winy Cocker is saying, Justin is not a depraved boy.

"Do what you need to principal but I am now stepping in to handle this myself. But thank you for trying to help. I must go now." she responded.
