Chapter 451: Baby has a cough

Immediately, she went in search of Esong and it was easy to locate him because she could find him anywhere in an instant.

He was playing football with her brothers, Markay and her father. His friends were there as well, and they all seemed to be having a great time.

She looked at them from a distance, turned around and left.

Adler and Esong spotted her first, almost at the same time. Esong smelled her before he saw her turning around while Adler only saw her because he was looking in that direction.

"Ooh, it’s my sister." he said with a smile.

Not to be outdone, Esong put his hands on his waist and said, "You mean my wife."

Beord noticed that they had stopped playing so he jogged over and bumped into Adler really hard.

"Hey, what are you guys doing?" he asked them.

"I saw our sister."

"I saw my wife."

Adler and Esong both answered at the same time. After answering, they shot each other harsh glares.

Beord sneered and slapped them both on the back.

"Crazy fools." he said.

Elroy swooped in at the exact time, jumping up and down to keep his body active.

"Hey, what are you guys doing?"

"They saw Scarlet." Beord answered.

Elroy craned his neck and looked from left to right, but he did not see a shadow of his sister.

"I don’t see her."

"She has gone." Adler told them. "She was probably here to support and cheer me on."

Elroy and Beord cocked their heads, looks of disbelief in their eyes. Did this sis con not see their sister’s husband? Besides, they were her brothers as well. She could have come to support them for all they knew.

Beord slapped Adler’s back again and he told him. "I change my mind, you are a crazier fool."

"Yes, tell him to stop hogging my wife." Esong added.

Adler smirked and said provocatively, "You stop hogging my sister."

"Maybe you should all stop hogging my daughter." Dorian joined the four who were standing around in a circle idly looking at the exit of the stadium.

"Which one?" Elroy asked, and he giggled.

Beord raised his right hand and pointed to Elroy with his left.

"Can I change my answer now? I have found an even bigger fool."

"Heeey!" Elroy whined.

He was not the brightest bulb in the room but he was unwilling to be known as the family fool.

The others laughed at him, including Gregor who had just joined them.

"See, even Gregor knows this." Beord said.

"Who wants a beer?" Dorian asked them.

"Me!" Gregor answered eagerly.

Beord slapped Gregor on the head. What did he want with a beer at his age?

"You can have ice cream." he told him.

Elroy casually looked around at the others and frowned. "That’s it, the game is over. No, I refuse, the score is tied, come on guys."

The others looked at each other and then a few shook their heads.

"I have to meet Lanta in an hour." Beord said.

"And I have a date with Arya." Adler added.

"Scarlet and I have plans to go bike riding with Justin." Esong chimed in.

Beord leaned down and closely observed Elroy’s face. Then, he raised himself and gave his younger brother a look that projected confusion.

"I am surprised that you are not in a club Elroy, tomorrow is the weekend."

Elroy scowled and pouted. Just because he had been partying a bit harder than them all did not mean he lived in a club.

"He has a match in two days." Dorian shared with them.

A collective round of "Oooh" followed as everyone grasped the reason behind his availability. It also explained why he was antsy, he was nervous because of the match.

"That’s not why." Elroy blurted.

"Brother I can stay and play with you." Gregor offered.

Elroy smugly pointed to Gregor and said, "See, this is a great brother. The rest of you are betrayers. Come one Gregor, we are the cool ones in the family."

"And young." Gregor pitched in, giggling.

Those who had been called old indirectly watched the young ones leaving with different thoughts and reactions.

"I am not old." Dorian emphasized.

"Yeah, you look good for eighty nine." Adler told him.

Beord chuckled and shook his head. Adler’s words did not really make their father feel better. He might as well just say their father was closer to making one hundred years and becoming a true middle aged man.

Scarlet meanwhile after leaving the football field returned to the castle, going to the East wing to find Justin who was with Cecily.

When she found him, her little one was wrapped in a blanket, with puffy red eyes and coughing on and off.

"Oh, baby, what happened?" She dashed to him and asked, very worried.

He raised his arms out to her, begging to be carried up.

"Mommy." He said in a soft whiny voice.

"Baby." She responded and carried him as he desired.

Etienne Wu, Justin’s great grandfatherwho was a man of few words was the one who answered Scarlet’s query about what happened.

"There is an outbreak at his school. Some children took a field trip to the Green star and returned with this illness.

Teacher Peggy said that half of the class has been sent home."

Scarlet bounced Justin up and down lightly, rubbing his back.

"I have not been informed about this." She said, with a frown.

She should have been teacher Peggy’s first call as Justin’s mother. All the parents should have been informed as a matter of fact.

"You were busy after the earthquake. I came to find you but I was told that you were locked away in your training room." Cecily answered this time round.

Cecily held a bottle of warm milk with a straw up to Justin’s mouth.

Stubbornly, Justin turned his head away from her and buried it in Scarlet’s neck.

Cecily sighed and looked at him with worry.

"He is refusing to eat." She told Scarlet.

Justin sniveled and Scarlet rubbed his back gently once more.

"It’s okay baby." She told him.

She looked at Cecily with grateful eyes. It was good thing that she and Etienne were so involved in Justin’s life.

"Grandmother Cecily and grandpa Etienne, thank you for taking good care of him. I will take it from here."

Cecily shook her head, "What are you thanking us for? He is our great grandson. Who will we take care of if not him?"

Scarlet still smiled gratefully at them and then she and Justin left the East wing.

"Alex, contact my husband and tell him that our son is ill so bike riding is cancelled." As she walked, she gave orders to the bracelet AI.

"Yes mistress." It responded.

With quickness, the text she dictated reached Esong.

Upon reading it, he set down the beer which he had only taken a few sips of.

"I have to go." He told the others.
