She could not have been any more prouder than she was at the moment at the way the eco resort turned out. It was no wonder thousands were booking tickets after the pictures the grey star’s communication ministry had posted on star net.

The property was large, some buildings on land and others above the water. It offered multiple amenities like spas, restaurants, gyms, indoor swimming pool for those who did not want to swim in the ocean. A mini library and even, to Scarlet’s scandalized ears, an underground pleasure house.

"I am definitely taking Justin’s name and picture down now." She told Lancaster when he mentioned it.

It was not on the list of amenities she approved of.

"Why did you include it?" she asked him.

Lancaster blushed profusely and turned his face away from her. Nervously, he scratched his ears and looked at her with an unlikely shyness.

"Well_____, it’s the guests. Out of every ten people, six ask if those services are available. And it’s both female and male guests so I thought if we can add it..."

"No, eww." Scarlet moved her hands around as if she had touched something disgusting.

"This is a family friendly resort Lancaster, not a come and diddle your private parts resort. I am not saying visitors cannot...you know..."

"Have sex." Lancaster completed it for her.

"That," she gave him a thank you but that was not necessary look and added, "It should be done in the privacy of their bedrooms, in private hot springs, hot tubs, even the ocean as long as they don’t flash others."

"Flash," Lancaster said, sounding confused.

Still moving her hands around, she explained what she meant. "Like expose their private parts to others, exhibition you can call it. Close it, use that underground pleasure house for something else, maybe an underground night club. An exclusive one, adults only of course, no underage children allowed."

"What’s the difference?" he asked her.

An adults only club and a pleasure house, they were quite similar to him. There were certain darker, closed off areas of night clubs were pleasures were sought and given.

Even those private booths in the clubs, half the time, those who occupied them were engaged in diddling their parts as Scarlet had called it.

"The difference is that I will sleep better at night." she said.

Lancaster laughed and cocked his head, "You are the only person in the world to ever choose better sleep over more profits. But it’s your resort, your rules.

Fair warning, the royal family is building a resort of their own ten times the size of yours and they will not shy away from including pleasure houses. In fact, they will have like five of them because to them, the profit is more important than sleep."

Scarlet shrugged, "To each their own." she told him.

The royal family needed money to run an empire while she needed money to feed herself.

She heard Esong’s voice and both she and Lancaster turned around.

He and his friends, other mecha warriors were back.

Esong put his arm around her neck and sniffed her hair.

She raised her hand and slapped him on the chest.

"Behave." she warned.

Esong chuckled and looked at Lancaster, his arm remaining where it was.

"Lancaster, I see you are enjoying the pleasure of my wife’s company, again."

"Yes, governor Scarlet has some interesting perspectives. Her company is certainly worth being kept." Governor Lancaster responded with a smile.

He looked at Scarlet with amused eyes that held a bit of fondness that Esong found annoying.

"You think so, huh." he replied to Lancaster with a smile.

Those who knew Esong however detected a hint of a threat in his voice.

Ian and Cedric shared an amused look and shook their heads. They had heard all about Esong’s newly discovered love for his wife.

Ian sighed and put a hand on Lancaster’s arm.

"Hey, governor Lancaster, our lady governor is a very beautiful woman, right?" he asked.

Without thinking about it, Lancaster nodded in agreement with what he said.

Cedric came to his other side and looked at Esong. He opened his mouth and said, "Now, do you see that jealous silver haired creature wrapped around her like a snake?"

"Hey," Esong shouted unhappily at Cedric.

Scarlet chuckled, while Lancaster finally discerned the meaning behind his words.

"Ooh," he said slowly. He looked at Esong and said with an easy smile, "I hope that you do not misunderstand me general Esong, what I feel for your wife is admiration. She inspires me to be a better governor, more creative thinker and better leader for my people. I do not hold any romantic ambitions for her. She is like a sibling, a sister."

Cedric snapped his fingers loudly, stunning them all.

"There you go Esong, your wife is all yours."

"Damn right she is." Esong replied. "And I am taking her sight seeing around our resort so you lot can find something else to do. The resort is open, go have fun."

He hardly waited around to hear what they heard had to say as he carried Scarlet up, princess style and raced off with her.

"Is he running because he thinks we will stop them?" Cedric asked.

"Probably not." Ian answered.

"So, what have you found after your inspection?" Lancaster asked them.

"It’s on a need to know basis." Ian answered.

"I am the governor of the grey star, I believe I need to know." Lancaster told them.

"You would that think that." Ian told him.

"But you are wrong." Cedric added.

Lancaster looked from one to the other, unappreciative of their secretive nature on a planet he controlled. Mecha warriors always behaved like their authority outranked all officials. Only the emperor dictated orders to them which should not be the way things worked.

"This is why people hate you." he told them.

"And yet gain, you are wrong." Cedric told him.

"Yeah, people love us." Ian added arrogantly.

Lancaster groaned and walked away from them, calling them idiots in his mind. He had drones, he would fly them over Turing island and find out what they were hiding.
