Scarlet left the underworld feeling drained and in need of some rejuvenation. Her muscles, especially her hands ached as if she was construction worker who had been carrying bricks or large logs for many days.

More than that, her head was muddled for a few seconds after her return, and she felt the desperate to urge to find a comfortable bed, or chair and sleep lay down and sleep like a baby. Surely, everyone would understand her exhaustion.

"I am on it, when you return to castle, have a large bowl of porridge and some burgers first. Thank you for all your hard work partner, I appreciate it."

She drunk a small sip of concentrated rejuvenating water, and popped an orange candy in her mouth.

"I am sure that I have energy drinks somewhere in my storage." she said to herself.

She looked inside her space, searching through her products from earth and found a stash of energy drinks.

"This one gives you wings, right?" she said and she opened the can. Then, she strolled out of the training room slowly, while sipping on that red bull.

She found Tion sitting in a chair outside, with his back hunched over. Why did he seem to be so exhausted?

"Tion." she called, and tapped him gently on the shoulder.

He rose up abruptly, and looked at her. "Governor." he said.

"Your eyes." she said in shock and guffawed. The dark circles around his eyes were even worse than hers.

"Mmm, what’s wrong with my eyes?" he asked and he touched them.

"How long have you been awake, did you get any sleep last night?" she asked.

"I have a duty to protect you governor." he answered.

This was his problem, in fact, his obsession with his duty as if his very life depended on hers. She had a full team of guards so why did he not make use of the men he and Esong handpicked to keep her safe. Moreover, she was within castle walls, his actions were simply exaggerated.

"Go to bed." she told him. "My husband will protect me for the rest of the day. If I see your shadow before night falls, I will release you from your duty as my personal guard."

"Governor, but.." he attempted to weasel.

"Now," she told him." She was extremely stern with him as she cut him off, expressing her anger for his foolish actions with her angry face.

"Yes governor." he bowed and left.

She looked left and right after he left, as she wondered if she should prepare burgers first or pick out a sheep for Severus.

Kitchen first, she thought, the sheep could be delivered.

She contacted the head of the live stock department and requested for one sheep, sliced into different parts.

As she was walking back to her wing, she bumped into Beord, who was carrying a large tub of ice.

"Brother Beord," she said, her eyes roaming over the tub curiously.

"Hey sis." he answered.

"Should I ask?" she pointed to the tub of ice.

"The communications department is doing a community outreach and education program. It’s hot out so I thought, why not shaved ice." he shrugged.

"Cool." she said and she continued on her way. She would have suggested popsicles as well but she had more on her mind to deal with and it was nice seeing them think out of the box without consulting her first.

She continued on, saying hello to the maids and the few animals which she met along the way. Just as she got to the doors leading to her living room, she was swept off her feet.

"Ah," she screamed, taken by surprise.

"You are back." Esong’s happy voice tickled her ears.

She laughed and threw her head back in exhilaration as he swung her around. When did she last experience this feeling? In her childhood, she thought to herself.

"I was not even gone that long." she told him, the moment he put her down. She faced him with an intrigued smile on her face. Had he missed her that much? What did it mean?

"Even one hour apart is too long." he complained, and pulled her with strength against his chest again.

Her heart skipped a beat and she smiled shyly, looking down at the ground. "Oh, really."

"Yes really." he assured her.

Then he held her head with both of his hands, forcing her to keep her eyes on him.

"Will he kiss me now?" she asked herself. "But I have not brushed my teeth yet?" Her eyes widened in horror, and she clamped her lips shut, tightly.

"Really my dear." he said.

She shook her head, and covered her mouth to say, "I have not yet brushed my teeth."

As a matter of fact, she had not even had the opportunity to take a bath for an entire day and six hours now. It was coming to lunch, which made it a day and a half.

"So you won’t let me kiss you?" he said, in a questioning way.

She nodded vigorously, up and down her head moved, like that of a gecko.

He chuckled and said, "Later then."

She nodded vigorously, again.

Esong escorted her to the bathroom immediately, and handed her a toothbrush which she preferred to the teeth cleaning solutions of the interstellar.

He looked very proud of himself, when he handed her that toothbrush and she laughed.
