Ren closed the system and shifted his gaze to Scarlett.

Like her, he also had complicated feelings.

He wanted to hug her and express his yearn for her, but they were not a husband and a wife in a real world.

They had not even spoken to each other yet.

What if she regarded their relationship in the illusion world as just a test?

What if she didn’t take everything that happened in the illusion world seriously?

He was aware of their relationship in the real world, so he did not dare to express his feelings because the real world and the illusion world were different.

As Ren and Scarlett were staring at each other, Aidan and Zac approached them.

"City mistress..."

Zac and Aidan stood outside the disk because they did not want to be dragged into the illusion world again.

Ren looked at them before returning his attention to Scarlett.

’City mistress?! She is the Ruler of a city?!’

He was aware of how strong she was, but he did not expect her to be the Ruler of a city.

"Thank god you passed the test, city mistress." Zac and Aidan in unison.

"What about you two? Have you taken the test?" she asked curiously.

"Yes." Zac and Aidan said they passed the test several minutes ago.

"City mistress, your test is the longest among everyone here." Zac uttered.

"That’s right, city mistress." Aidan added, "When most of us had finished the test, you two were still in the illusion world."

Ren and Scarlett exchanged a glance with each other.

’Our test is the longest?’

They knew the illusion world did not get destroyed immediately after they passed the final test, but they did not expect their test to be the longest.

"By the way, what is the color of your token, city mistress?" Aidan inquired.

"Token?" Scarlett took out the token she got from the disk and asked, "Do you mean this token?"

"It’s a golden token." Zac and Aidan were shocked when they saw the color of her token.

"What?! Did someone just say golden token?"

"Golden token? There is another color?!"

"What rank is it? Is it better than silver token?"

"Normally, it should be better than silver token, but we don’t know its value in this test."

"What is her score?"

One by one, they looked at Scarlett because they were curious about her golden token.

Scarlett did not expect her golden token to attract everyone’s attention. "Are there any other colors besides gold?"

"Yes, city mistress." Zac began explaining everything.

He said there were three colors of tokens before: silver, green, and black.

Everyone who passed the test was given a token, and the tokens they obtained were based on their scores in the illusion world.

People with scores between 70 – 79 would get a black token. They would get a green token if their score was between 80 – 89.

Among these three tokens, the highest ranking was the silver token because only people with scores between 90 - 99 could get it.

Now that the golden token had appeared, it was only natural that everyone looked at her with curious eyes because no one had received a golden token before.

"City mistress, can you infuse your energy into the token? I want to know your score." Aidan was also curious about her score.

"Sure." Right after she infused her energy into the golden token, her score appeared above the token.

Score: 100 (perfect)

Chatter erupted after they saw her score.

"What?! 100?!"

"She got a perfect score?"

"I thought it was impossible to get a perfect score in this test."

"Getting a score of 91 is already difficult, yet she got 100 score? What the hell did she do to get a perfect score like that?"

"I had guessed it before, but seeing it still surprised me."

They finally knew that the golden token was the highest-ranking token because it was only given to those who got a perfect score.

Aidan and Zac turned around and retrieved their weapons from their space rings. Their eyes swept across the area as he took in his surroundings.

’What’s wrong?" Scarlett inquired,

"City mistress, we believe the token is related to the treasure." Zac responded, "The higher the token rank, the better the treasure."

"That’s right, city mistress." Aidan added, "Previously, some people tried to take our tokens, so I’m sure they are eyeing your token now."

Despite hearing their words, Scarlett still acted normally because she believed she could protect her token. "What is the color of your token?"

"We got silver tokens, city mistress." Zac responded,

Scarlett’s lips curled up into a smile. "Not bad."

The silver token was right below the golden token, so she was happy with their achievements.

As Aidan and Zac were protecting Scarlett, Liam walked toward Ren with a happy face.

"Ren, what is the color of your token?" Liam inquired.

Everyone shifted their gaze to Ren because he was Scarlett’s partner.

"Golden token." Ren showed his golden token bravely.

The onlookers were shocked again.

"Another golden token?!"

"Is their test easier than ours?"

"But their test is the longest among us. It should not be an easy test."

"The longest doesn’t mean the hardest!"

"That’s right. Maybe they just get more tests than we do."

"I think so too."

They knew he was Scarlett’s partner in the illusion world, but they did not expect him to get a golden token, too.

"Haha. As expected of the most genius awakener in our hometown, you are indeed the best." Actually, Liam had guessed this because Scarlett got a golden token.

"What about you?" Ren inquired.

Liam retrieved his token from his space ring. "Silver token."

"Not bad." Ren stated.

"Even though I’m not as talented as you, but I’m still a genius, so of course, my token won’t be bad." Liam was already satisfied with his silver token because not everyone could get one.

Aidan and Zac glanced at Ren as they protected Scarlett.

’He also got a golden token?’

They did not expect that he would also get a golden token because the assessment was not based on group performance but on individual performance.

"Did someone try to snatch your token earlier?" Ren threw another question at Liam.

"Yeah. But I beat them up." Liam could defeat them because they were just an Elite rank warrior and a 2-star mage.

"Didn’t a Master rank warrior or a 3-star mage try to take your token?" Ren would not be worried if Liam’s opponent was only an Elite rank warrior or a 2-star mage because, from his predecessor’s memories, Liam only lost to him in the past.

"Well, they tried to take my token once, but they helped me." Liam said as he pointed his right index finger toward Aidan and Zac.

"Thank you for helping my friend." Ren expressed his gratitude because he had already considered Liam as his friend.

"We were just returning the favor." Aidan and Zac said in unison.

There were two reasons why they decided to help Liam.

First, Ren helped everyone pass the previous test, and lastly, they saw their first and second trials in the illusion world.

Even though they did not see their final test, but it did not change the fact that Ren protected their city mistress many times, so they decided to help Liam when he was bullied by Master rank awakeners because Liam was Ren’s friend.

As Ren and his group were talking, some awakeners suddenly had the idea to seize their golden tokens.
