When Luciel saw the park nearby, he said, "Let’s go. When I open this box, quickly run to the nearby park on my right."

He could already see the faces of the kids with him from the light coming outside through the slit that he had opened, so he saw the kids nod after he spoke.

He removed the vines binding them and saw them preparing themselves.

After checking the situation outside again, he controlled the vines and opened the box.

He also immediately absorbed back the energy he had poured into the box to the vines in his wrist.

Afterwards, he also ran after kids who had already started running towards the park.

There were a lot of damaged things along the way, and they also had to be careful of the mutant and zombie fishes that were also on land because they might still be able to jump.

When they arrived at the park, they didn’t stop and went closer to the center of the park, which is a huge open space surrounded by some trees and buildings further at the back.

"Ok, let’s stop here," Luciel said and began constructing a tent using the vines in his hands.

He made sure to thicken them so that they won’t be easily damaged even if they were suddenly attacked by zombies or other creatures.

He made the tent big enough for all of them to properly have a seat inside.

He even made chairs for all of them using the vines.

"Go inside. If there’s another shaking, just hold onto your chairs properly."

Astrid and the others also obeyed him and went inside to sit on the chairs that he had prepared.

After they entered, Luciel also entered and sat at the chair closest to the entrance of the tent he made.

He had to sit there because he had to watch what was happening outside properly.

He also sat there because he couldn’t leave the guarding to the kids because they are simply not strong enough to respond to emergencies and kill higher-level zombies that might suddenly attack them, so he had to do the guarding himself.

When they sat down, the kids visibly relaxed a bit.

"Big brother, thank you for saving us," Astrid said in a very sincere manner.

The others also started thanking him for saving them.

Bella even said, "I thought I was going to die back then.

If I had been bitten by any of those zombie fish in the lake, then I might have been a zombie now.

Luciel indeed saved them from falling over because there are a lot of zombie fish in the lake, so it isn’t okay for them to fall.

The weight of the 5 kids was also heavy for him, so when he fell off because of the continuous shaking, he knew he couldn’t return them to the ship, so he just made a rectangular box with the vines because it was easier for him to do for just a minute.

"I didn’t even have time to scream when I suddenly fell off the ferry," Astrid added.

"I also tried to hold on to the railings properly, but because the earthquake was very strong, I still fell off immediately," Austin also said.

The kids began saying what they felt, and Luciel just let them discuss it so that they could let out what they had felt.

It’s better for them to talk about it so that the fear they felt could also be alleviated.

Luciel just sat there and started massaging his hand that was heavily struck by the chair a while ago while still staying on guard.

But not long after they sat on the tent, they could feel the land shaking again.

Fortunately, it isn’t as strong as the earthquake that they felt a while ago.

However, within just those hours, Luciel saw that a few more buildings in their surroundings were further damaged.

Some of the buildings that weren’t destroyed yet when they came were destroyed after the few aftershocks.

The tilted trees around them were also completely uprooted afterwards.

A lot of their surroundings were destroyed; thankfully, the lake didn’t overflow too much afterwards, so it didn’t reach the park they were in.

If the water from the lake had reached the park they were in, then it would have been more troublesome; fortunately, it didn’t happen.

A lot of zombies in their surroundings were also crushed by the buildings and other objects that fell, but there were still some zombies wandering around.

Most of the zombies were also attracted by the sound of things, so they didn’t linger at the park where they were but went closer to those buildings that had made larger sounds.

Because of it, Luciel and the others didn’t have to deal with zombies yet and just stayed in the tent.
