The moment Qin Yan opened her eyes, Xi Ting saw it instantly.

"Yan Yan, how are you feeling?" Xi Ting cupped her face.

Qin Yan then asked another question which was bothering her, "How much time was I in coma?"

"About four months," Xi Ting replied. He gazed at Qin Yan continuously and didn’t even blink once, fearing that she might disappear at any moment.

Qin Yan also noticed this but did not say anything. She knew that it was normal for Xi Ting as it was the second time such thing had happened and this time too, he had almost lost her.

"What about Nie Mianmian?" Qin Yan knew that since she had been found, her moonpie might surely have discovered that Nie Mianmian was behind all this. She believed in her Ah Ting’s capabilities.

"Don’t worry about her. She has been taken care of," Xi Ting’s expression darkened on hearing this name. Thinking of how these days had been so difficult for him without Qin Yan, Xi Ting buried his face in her hair. To be able to hear her voice, talk to her, and feel her hug really felt so wonderful.

Qin Yan patted his back to assure him of her existence. "I am here now, don’t worry."

Xi Ting nodded before he held Qin Yan’s face in her hands and kissed her passionately. This kiss was packed with the fear he’d had earlier and the joy that he had regained what he’d lost. His palms were pressed tightly against her back, forcing her into his arms. They were so close together that there was no space in between.

Qin Yan’s chest was pressed so hard that it made breathing difficult. On top of that, his fierce kiss was suffocating her. But even so, Qin Yan did not push him away. Instead, she squeezed Xi Ting even more and kissed him back passionately.

The passion and power of the two aimed to dissolve each other into their own bodies. No one was willing to give in. Both of them were trying their best to feel each other’s presence. Both of them had experienced the fear of almost losing each other, so they cherished each other even more.

Finally, after a long time, Qin Yan really could not breathe anymore and she pushed Xi Ting away.

"No..." explained Qin Yan. "There are so many elders here. It’s not appropriate for them to see us hugging each other and being so clingy in bed."

Xi Ting agreed after giving it a thought. Furthermore, Qin Yan had just woken up. If their family saw them like this, they would think that he was being inconsiderate. So then, Xi Ting had no choice but to get out of bed.

But he was still unwilling to leave Qin Yan, even if she was just right in front of him. He was terrified by the fact that she almost could not wake up from her coma. Even after he got out of bed, he sat down beside it and did not let go of Qin Yan’s hand.

Old Madam Xi reached the door and knocked out of consideration.
