The news of Lu Yaran’s arrest soon reached the ears of Xi Yaohua’s family. In the living room of the Xi house, Xi Bingyu and Cai Jingyi were deep in thought.

"What should we do now? Lu Yaran’s crime is not a small one. And with Nie Qinyu looking over the matter, it is next to impossible for her to ever get out of the prison. Soon, this matter will spread in the upper circle and since we are related to the Qin family, our reputation will also take a hit," Cai Jingyi analyzed the situation.

Xi Bingyu and Cai Jingyi knew about whatever had happened in the Han villa. Other than knowing about the identity of Qin Yan’s boyfriend, every other thing was known to them. They did not fear Han Cheng as he did not wield much power in C Nation, even though he was a tycoon of the M Nation. However, what they feared the most was to make enemies with the Nie family.

The fact that Qin Yan was Nie Qinyu’s illegitimate daughter had dealt a severe blow to them. Even though Qin Yan was an illegitimate daughter, Nie Qinyu would adore her as she was his child from his first love.

They also knew that Qin Yan was in love with their son previously. However, because of her looks, their son had pushed her away. Even they themselves had humiliated her. Had they not done so, had Qin Yan been in a relationship with Xi Yaohua now, they would be related to the Nie family instead of the declining Qin family.

Their hearts were filled with regrets, however they also understood that there was no medicine for regret. All they could do now was to salvage the current situation, and the only measure they saw in front of them was to break-off the relationship between Xi Yaohua and Qin Muran. They did not want to be dragged down by the Qin family and thus breaking the relations with the Qin family was of utmost importance to them.

When Cai Jingyi and Xi Bingyu were immersed in their own thoughts, Xi Yaohua arrived. Xi Bingyu had given him a call earlier and asked him to come home immediately.

Xi Yaohua had also heard about the matter of Qin family and thus he had already guessed why his parents wanted him to return home immediately. He got seated on the couch in front of his father and waited for his father to speak.

Xi Bingyu asked, "Yaohua, are you aware of the matter with the Qin family?"

"Yes," Xi Yaohua nodded.

"Then what have you thought about it?"

"I..." Before Xi Yaohua could put forward his thoughts, Cai Jingyi interrupted him, "Yaohua, we think that the best solution to this matter is for you to break up with Qin Muran. This will prevent us from being dragged down by the Qin family. Also, we can explain the reason for the breakup that we don’t want to be associated with a family where a vicious woman like Lu Yaran lived. No one would be able to retort against this statement as everyone knows that children are taught by their parents. If mother was so vicious, it is highly likely that the daughter would also have these traits."

Xi Yaohua let his mother complete. He did not interrupt but he did not agree to her words either. Thus, Xi Bingyu understood that his son had some other thoughts in his mind.

He asked, "Do you not agree with us?"

Xi Yaohua appeared deep in thought as he said, "It’s not like I don’t agree with you guys. It’s just that I have a better idea."

"A better idea? What do you mean?" Cai Jingyi was confused. She did not have any idea about what her son was thinking. She and her husband had thought of everything but they found the idea of breakup the most feasible.

Xi Yaohua patiently explained his thoughts, "Now that Qin Yicheng knows that Qin Yan is not his daughter and Lu Yaran has been arrested by police, only two people are remaining in the Qin family, who are Qin Mufeng and Qin Muran. As Qin Yicheng has only one son which is Qin Mufeng, Qin Yicheng will definitely hand over the Qin Corporation to Qin Mufeng. Even if Qin Yicheng is single now, even if he finds another woman and raises another son, he will not be able to grow up to be able to compete with Qin Mufeng.

So, even in future, Qin Mufeng and Qin Muran will be the only competitors for the Qin Corporation. However, Qin Mufeng no longer lives with the Qin family and he also does not concern himself with Qin family’s matters. On the other hand, Qin Muran is still Qin Yicheng’s daughter and is still living with the Qin family. This is why I think that Qin Muran has a high status in the Qin family.

"If we groom her properly, she will definitely be able to inherit the Qin group. This is be very beneficial to us. We can dispose off Qin Muran after she is no longer useful to us."

Xi Yaohua winked at his parents indicating the meaning of grooming Qin Muran. Xi Bingyu and Cai Jingyi were no fools. They quickly understood Xi Yaohua’s meaning. After pondering for a while, they felt that their son’s suggestion was not bad. They could take advantage of this situation and use it to their benefit.

Xi Bingyu agreed to his son’s suggestion but he was still worried. After all, it was not easy to fool Qin Yicheng. He warned his son, "You can go ahead with the idea but you have to be careful. Qin Yicheng or Qin Mufeng both are very shrewd. It would not be easy to deal with them."

"I know dad. Don’t worry, I won’t let anything come onto me," Xi Yaohua reassured his parents before returning back to his office.

Meanwhile, Qin Muran was pacing back and forth in her bedroom. She did not understand what she could do to save her mother. Qin Yicheng had already pulled his hands off Lu Yaran’s matter as he did not want to be implicated. On the other hand, Qin Mufeng did not pick up any of Qin Muran’s calls.

Qin Muran knew that nobody would help her in this matter other than her family. So, when she saw that all the doors had closed on her, she decided to try her last resort.

She called Xi Yaohua immediately, "Brother Hua, where are you? I’ll go find you."

"I’m in my office." Xi Yaohua glanced at the woman on his lap. As she was about to kiss him, he tilted his head so her kiss landed at the corner of his lips. "What is it?"

"I’m going over now, there’s something important going on," Qin Muran said.

Xi Yaohua frowned. Because he moved his head, the woman in his embrace kept kissing his face and neck.

"Now? I’m quite busy. Must you come over right now? If there’s no hurry, you can come later. We’ll eat together later on, and after dinner, all my time is yours," Xi Yaohua made himself sound hoarse and sexy.

Qin Muran was delighted, her eyes shining with desire. However, she said, "I really have an urgent matter so I’m going to look for you. When we’re done, I’ll wait for you near your office and won’t disturb you until you’re done with work."

Xi Yaohua pursed his lips in annoyance and looked at the woman in his arms. Pushing her away, he said, "Okay, come over."

After he hung up, the woman looked at him petulantly, "You asked me to come, now you’re asking me to go?"

Xi Yaohua squeezed her cheeks, saying, "Just let it be for today. I had no idea she’d come suddenly. I’ll find you tomorrow."

The woman pouted unhappily.

Xi Yaohua laughed, "Don’t pout so. I’ve been spending all my time with you, just one day makes no difference."

"Alright," The woman relented, hearing this. "I’ll forgive you this time, seeing that you’ve been accompanying me. Don’t you dare send me away next time."

The woman walked over and grabbed Xi Yaohua’s hand, pulling it over to her body, "I’m already like this."

Xi Yaohua chuckled, "Understood. I’ll make sure you can’t walk tomorrow."

The woman smirked in return before pecking him on the lips. Rearranging her clothes properly, she then left the room completely unashamed.

The employees on the floor of Xi Yaohua’s office were used to such scenes already. What’s more, she was not the only woman. Xi Yaohua’s actions were nothing new either. Thus, when Qin Muran arrived, Xi Yaohua’s employees all looked towards her with ridicule in their eyes. No matter how hard Qin Muran tried to keep an eye on Xi Yaohua, it was not difficult for him to cheat if he wanted to.

Also, the employees on the floor belonged to the core department of Global World Entertainment and thus they did not gossip about their CEO’s personal matters with anybody else.
