Transmigrated As A Feisty Omega
Chapter 96: He’s the same

Chapter 96: He’s the same

Ray took me by the hand and I allowed him to lead me to the room I spent the night in. He shoved me in, glaring daggers at me as if my mere existence pissed him off.

"How did you know who I am?" He asked, seeming eager to know more about me.

"Why?" I folded my arms and tried to look intimidating. The beauty enhancement I got from Fan, not too long ago, might not help my case, but I’ve got a killer punch...

That’s true!

I never got a benefit after the task was completed! Fan brought me to this place, and that was that!

He didn’t give me —

"Are you listening to me?!" He screamed, startling me from my thoughts.

"What the hell is wrong with —"

I didn’t get to complete my words before he threw a punch my way. I dodged, kicking him in the process, and sending him halfway across the hall.

He fell with a thud and rose almost immediately. His face was pulled up in a deadly stare as he closed the distance between us, pissed that I managed to throw a punch at him.

He raised his hand to hit me, but I was ready, dodging as I kicked him once more. I took his right arm and twisted him before I kicked him once more on the stomach, and completed it with a punch to his face.

He grunted from pain, and for the first time, his eyes held nothing but fear in them. "Who the hell are you?" He cradled his cheeks and glared at me as if he were expecting me to whip out an axe from my trousers and brandish it at him.

I folded my arms, "I’m Brys."

Well, that’s the name I have always gone by since I arrived in this comic or wherever the hell I am.

"I know damned well who the hell you are!" He growled, only to wince when the split on his lips got reopened.

"What else do you wish to know about me that you don’t already know? You might be different now, Ray, but I bet you still have the consciousness of who you were. I’m Brys, your best friend, and —"

"Best friend?" He scoffed, looking amused. "The only best friend I have is Storm if he ever cares for me as one." He took a step towards me, "whoever you are, Brys. I will find out about you, and when I do, I will have you hanged on the gallows." He turned to leave, seemingly through with his threatening.

"Wait! Are you leaving like that? Aren’t you afraid of what I might do to your prince? For all you know, I might be an assassin, sent to wipe him out."

I was eager to have him stay, so we can talk.

He might not be the same as my Ray, but that doesn’t mean I won’t treat him as that. Okay, I know I wouldn’t have fought with the Ray of Dark Moon, but this one left me with no choice.

I had to fight, to show him that I’m not a pushover.

He turned with a smirk, "do you think you can defeat the prince? You’ve got something coming your way, Omega. He’s a demon, and I don’t mean that as a title. That’s who he is." He turned and left the room, banging it behind him.

I heard the rattle of keys later, to signify that he had locked the door. Instead of being scared about that, I walked to the window and leaned on it.

A sigh left my mouth at the thoughts of the Storm I left behind. If only he was here with me, I will love it. Just two days away from him, made me crave his warm hug more than ever.

"Your cute little system is here!" Fan announced, but I didn’t turn. I kept my entire focus on the window and my thoughts on my Storm.

I sighed once more, feeling homesick — not for Earth, though. I will give anything if it means I get to meet my Storm.

"What’s wrong? Still thinking of your Storm when he’s here with you?" He scoffed.

"Here with me?" I turned to face him, shocked by his words. "What do you mean by he’s here with me?"

Last I checked, the Storm of this world is a douche who needs more than a knock on the head.

"As you might have noticed, almost all the people in the former world are here." He smiled when he noticed that I was now looking at him. "Your Storm is in the present one. Each world you leave doesn’t pause like I told you, it disintegrates."

"What? With the entire people in there?!" I gaped at him like a fool.

"Hmm." He nodded, "they disintegrate into the next world. Your Storm is in the current one, and that’s your task — to help him grow out of his resentments."

"But my Storm isn’t that heartless!"

How can he call them the same when the present Storm murdered an innocent guard, for relaying a message from the king to him?

He sighed, "he’s still the one, Brys. As I warned you earlier, each world might get darker depending on the personality Storm sealed in them. In this world, he locked the part of his soul that’s tormented."

"And you think I can help him out? Hell, he’s not like the first Storm, who’s playful but arrogant! This one is a goddamned psycho! He kills for a damned living!"

Though I have only witnessed him do that once, there is no denying that this wasn’t the first time he has done it. The expression on his face and that of Ray when he did it, showed it was a daily occurrence.

"But he’s your Storm. You need to help him, or else he will die, and your children will go with him. It will be as if he never existed," Fan sighed. "Will you wish for that, Brys? For your Storm to be no more?"
