Transmigrated As A Feisty Omega
Chapter 79: Mine to protect

Chapter 79: Mine to protect

"Do you think you have grown wings enough to defy my orders?" My father growled down at me, looking like a damned predator. His blue eyes burned with a fiery passion which once scared me, but not any more.

My mother stood next to him, arms folded and mouth poised up in disagreement. Just like my father, she looked like she was trying to get me in line or something like that.

"I can do whatever I wish to do, you can’t keep me under you for long. I love him," I stared into my father’s eyes, showing him that he doesn’t scare me as much as he did when I was still a kid.

Unlike then, I can stare into his eyes for as long as I wish, without feeling any ounce of fear. I’m untouchable. And I won’t allow them to touch my Strawberry.

"Oh, seems like it’s time to clip your wings. What about —"

"I don’t care about her any more. You can do whatever you wish to her, I just don’t care." I tried to look like I didn’t care about it, while I do. However, I know they won’t touch her. They are only making empty threats at me.

"What..." My mother took some steps back, shocked by my words, while my dad seemed like he was trying to understand me.

"You heard me right. Ever since I was little, I never got to choose anything. You picked my schools for me, my damned clothes and even my food! I was wired to depend on you for everything while trying to be a good son, but not any more!"

"Storm!"

"What’s wrong? Are you going to hurt my Strawberry if I don’t do what you asked me to do? Will you kick me out of your house or disown me as your son?" I scoffed.

"You can’t get married to him!" Father said in a resolute tone, trying to use his Alpha tone on me, so I can give in to his wishes.

Tsk.

He did this when I was still a kid. Back then, I couldn’t fight him off, but not any more. I’m not the harmless child I used to be. Right now, I have someone I wish to protect. I won’t let them hurt him or come anywhere near him.

He’s mine to protect.

"Why?"

"He’s a boy! He can’t give you children! You need a woman so she can continue the bloodline!"

"And you think I wish to have kids? Have you asked me what I want?"

Though it will be beautiful to have kids with my Strawberry’s unusual purple eyes, and my black hair. Just thinking of it, made me giddy as hell, but I tampered it down.

Strawberry is a boy, he can’t give birth to pups. I’m just getting ahead of myself by thinking of him that way.

"Storm! Are you insane? Do you need me....?

My Strawberry sighed in his sleep, and we froze, staring at him, expecting him to open his eyes, but he didn’t. He just went back to sleep without so much as opening an eye.

My mum stared at him, mouth pursed, and brows raised. She looked as if she wanted to say something, but shook her head, deciding to keep things the way they are.

"If you are hell-bent on being with him, then, you are no longer my son!"

"Good," I folded my arms. "Now, can you please leave my dorm?" I motioned to the door. "You are no longer my parents. Our ties are broken."

My mother gasped, while my father gaped at me, as I had somehow gotten two heads during the conversation.

"Are you willing to deny your family because of a boy?"

The way father stared at my strawberry made me protectively stand in front of him, ready to take my father on should he try to attack my Omega.

"Yes, I’ve marked him."

"What?!" They gasped in shock, sharing a look between them, looking like they somehow lost all coherency.

"You marked a boy?"

"Is there any reason I shouldn’t have?" I shrugged. I have never regretted marking my Omega. Not even my parents can make me feel that way.

"We will have this conversation again!" My father turned to leave.

"I don’t think so. I’m no longer your son, remember? Don’t tell me you have forgotten so soon?" I stared straight at him, with no room for mirth on my face.

"You are still my son." With a glare at me, my father left, while my mother stayed back. She glanced at the door he left through before she turned to face me... Smiling?

I was shocked by the expression on her face. I can count how many times my mother has smiled at me, and it isn’t up to the number of fingers on my right hand.

"I’m glad you found someone you love. Though I’m not in support of the relationship, I hope you are happy with him." She turned and left, banging the door behind her.

With my parents gone, I sat on the bed, thinking of what to do next. I have lived with my father for so long that I knew this wasn’t the end of it.

He will still find a way to get to me.

"Do you regret marking me?"

I was startled when I heard his voice. I turned to face him, smiling at my cute Strawberry, who pulled off being adorable without any effort.

"Why will I?" I wrapped my arms around his waist and brought him closer, so he sat on my thighs.

"Well... You looked like you did," he bit his bottom lip, looking so seductive with that small smile on his face.

"No, I have never regretted this, Strawberry. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me." I leaned in and pecked him on his mouth.

Without Strawberry, I wouldn’t have ever disagreed with my parents.

"I’m a boy, you know that, right?"

"Of course."

"I can’t be able to give you kids?" He stared at me, letting me know what it means to be with him.

"Who wants kids when I have someone as beautiful as you?" I kissed him. "You are all I’ve ever wanted."
